Can you try to temporarily remove any other plugin except Grammarpolice (just put the .dll files into a temp folder).
Try again with the speech. I wonder if another plugin somehow interferes with your GP speech recognition.

Did someone create A plug-in for AI or NPC's To be smarter For GTA 5?

Like what they're putting in for GTA 6.

I don't use either of the two; I got Menyoo. IMO, more versatile.

Policing Redefined, Grammar Police and ReportsPlus are my must-haves. BlueLineDispatch is a no-brainer too, especially with GP.
MTFO is great too. Might want to look into Dynamic Weather as a small QOL mod.

You need either StopThePed or PolicingRedefined to use transport units. I strongly suggest the latter.

If you reinstall, make sure you manually delete the GTA V install folder. Uninstalling via Steam/Epic/Rockstar Launchers won't remove modded files.
Also, try without your 300 addon car mod and install no mods folder mods before you ensured it's working properly with just RPH/LSPDFR.

If you have mods folder - temporally disable it and try launch game again

To disable mods - rename its to _mods

I’ve never played on a curved UW monitor and don’t plan on doing so but as for MSFS, it sound every intriguing!
For LSPDFR I’m not sure what kind of issues you could face. Some years ago UW users had to use a specific version of rage native UI.

Please find the most recent LSPDFR documentation as well as the RPH SDK attached to this post. They are currently targeting build b3889 (legacy) and 1158 (enhanced) respectively. Please note that the final build for this SDK version will be released later today (July 19, 2026).

    LSPDFR Build 9695:

Added public getter for TimeUntilEscape on ChaseData
Added DisableEscapeHandling to prevent LSPDFR from assigning a new scenario or deleting a suspect upon escaping from a chase
Added ForceClearPedArrestedState to clear a suspect's arrest state
Added logging for plugin dll name
    Added GetPursuitOfficersVisualOnSuspect, IncrementPursuitOfficersVisualOnSuspect and DecrementPursuitOfficersVisualOnSuspect

    RPH Build 1.131.1424:

    Added new enums: ExplosionType, MaterialHash
Added HitResult::HitMaterial (if you previously used reflection to get the internal field, this will be a breaking change!)
Added UnsafeGetEntityByMemoryAddress to resolve an IntPtr to a RPH handle (needs to be a valid entity)
Updated lots of enums: WeaponHash, VehicleClass, GameControl, BlipSprite, VehicleWheelType, VehicleModType, TraceFlags, AnimationFlags, EnterVehicleFlags and RadioStation

I would like to extend my gratitude to khori, SuperPyroManiac and Vincent for API testing and suggestions.

Maybe it's just my simple opinion, but you're overthinking it. I own a PS5 and therefore use its shipped controller, but since you're going to buy one, I'd say go with a simple XBOX controller. It will probably give you the least trouble. Wireless depends on whether your PC supports bluetooth.

Since tons of plugins add tons of keys, I would still use my keyboard for anything non-driving related. As soon as I'd leave my car on a traffic stop or a callout, I'd put it on the desk or lap and switch to M&K.

Thanks @Lennyy I agree and had planned to use the controller strictly for driving operations, then M&K for everything else, so your advice sounds right on target. I've found a simple, inexpensive XBOX controller that can either be wired or wireless, so I can test both and take my pick. I just really need better driving control because I'm a menace on the road otherwise. :) Thanks again!

Greetings - I've never played GTA but bought it as soon as I found LSDPFR. I'm now two weeks in, struggling with all the setup but having a blast. Law Enforcement was my first career plan as a kid (over 50 years ago now,) but life took me elsewhere. This is a kind of fantasy wish fulfillment, and I'm excited to dig in and join the fun. Hope to rely on folks here for help and advice and comraderie, and to offer it back when I've got something valuable to say. Be Well!
