LCPDFR Feature Wishlist! (Post Your Ideas HERE!)
I quite like some of the ideas being portrayed here. I think the most important change for me would be some form of 'while loop' in the code which varies the callouts more. For me if I patrol around the highways I would expect to receive more RTC's or speeding vehicle callouts not a domestic disturbance every 10 seconds. Something like this needs implementing because I tend to get a majority of domestic disturbances and no other callouts, and if it isn't a domestic disturbance its a huge bloody gang shootout. And I know there are more than 2 callouts. Some sort of script call which checks how long ago the last call out id was. For example if the callout id for a domestic was selected by the script within 2 minutes prior to the new callout it would force a different callout. Just an idea to add some more variety, 'cause I find myself hitting N more now or even F7 to block the callouts so I can do my own thing. (and yes I know I can use bravehearts script, I do. But I don't want to have to use it as a permanent replacement of the default. Just an add on) Something I feel would make a nice change (purely aesthetic this one) is to replace the text which appears at the bottom of the screen with an on screen computer while in a car (similar to the way the vdh policehelper works) so that the text appears in the say bottom left corner above the map display (or even around the map display to make it look like its using the map) this would make it appear more realistic to the player's view as if you were actually in the police car IRL you would have the computer down to your side to glance at. With these screenshots I made the computer system is visible while in a car for you to glance at while driving. :) Here are some really badly done mock ups of how it 'could' look :) (apologies the forum compresses images to fit in the spoiler, click on the image to load it full size so it isn't all squashed)

[Release V1] Desktop Dispatching Program
Sorry for being a bit of a noob here, this looks really interesting but I'm not entirely sure of its purpose? I guess my main question is, is this just a role play program? Where you have a friend playing the game and you with the program? Or does it actually link into the game in some way properly?

vdH PoliceHelper 1.2.0 beta
Liking the look of the new features being added :) Just a couple of ideas of mine which pretty much are the same as the bait car scenario. I'll put the idea details in spoilers to reduce the amount of text visible immediately :) Firstly, an undercover cop in a drug deal: Secondly, more specific stakeouts: Just a couple of ideas to help give some random diversity to the whole lcpdfr experience, because for me all of my callouts using lcpdfr and braveheart's script tend to be domestic disturbances or suspicious people, gets tedious after a while. That's why I like your mod as it allows me to add to the experience and gives me an extra special mission I can set up (the bait car) and run it all myself without the need for a random call out. Let me know what you think, I appreciate all feedback, even critical :)

Tackle fleeing suspect
Knowing my luck I would forget to check all my other hotkey-based mods to see if they use T alone and crash something. But thanks. Ah ok, shame. :( Yeah adding custom animation to be fluid would take too much and like you said can't be done by yourself. Nevermind then *sulks*

vdH Vanilla Cars Textures MegaPack [WIP]
Looking good :) Acter state police is my favourite but that's because I much prefer the LA based skins to the NY ones. The stealth ones are also pretty awesome. Combine the two! :D There is 2 models of the vapid as far as I know, standard ("police") and the alderney state one. I'm feeling a grey/black car with no light bar :P

Myth Hunting... And eliminating by force
Now loading GTA IV to test these theories. Guess I'm on foot patrol through middle park today.

Tackle fleeing suspect
I like this idea a lot purely because it adds realism and variety to the mod. And yes I agree with the OP it is better than the taser. I never use the taser because you have to hit Alt + T twice (once to hip it, twice to equip it) by which time you can't use it cause you have to sprint after the guy again to catch up. Then when you do fire it the peds for me just wobble a bit and then, that's it. they don't fall over or anything. (which if several thousand volts of electricity was flowing through your body I'm pretty sure you'd hit the ground like a sack of s***.) So jump tackling sounds good to me. Imagine chasing an armed criminal down a back alley and diving at him just before emerging onto a busy street. Crisis saved, no casualties. If Bravehearts policing script can add the f key to push a ped so hard they fall over several feet, I'm sure the dev's can add something like this. "There was an option to do this back in .90. However, this was glitchy and removed due to no animation and the tazer becoming part of the mod." Everything is glitchy to start with, it takes bug reports and time to remove them. I think this should be a feature that gets some time spent on it :)

Myth Hunting... And eliminating by force
Nah, a buzzkill is me after hundreds of cups of coffee and hours driving around the subways trying to find the illusive f***. My bad though :P If you do decide to try and find any of the myths the internet has made, be careful which youtube videos you watch. A lot of people find them a fantastic opportunity to create a jump scare with tense music. Usually its a copy of the ending part of the video of "the ghost car" (video on youtube of a car on the road which disappears behind some trees, then a guy jumps at the camera and screams. Not for the feint hearted)

Myth Hunting... And eliminating by force
Never looked her up, as for tommy he isn't a ped. The only references to previous R* titles within GTA Iv are the clothing you can get which resembles the GTA 3 guy (I forget his name) and the graffiti on the walls from previous concept art. Possible but they would have to be very badly coded in for the trainer not to pick it up. The heart of liberty city is an easter egg not a myth. Because its big vibrant and impossible to miss. the Ratman is just a myth, its merely ambiance. Although at times a random hobo ped is spawned in the train lines to make it seem like he exists. There is nothing special about him though. It is, until you realise you've spent hours into the night googling myths, watching dodgy youtube fakes and hunting every glitch, bug and corrupt texture in the world to find them.

LCPDFR 1.0, 100,000 Members, GTA V and more
OMG I KNOW YOUR DOG! I'M THE VICE PRESIDENT! Sorry...had to :) Back on topic, I'm having to avoid YouTube at all costs so as not to spoil GTA V for myself. There has been enough leaked information that GTA V will come to PC eventually, going off previous releases I would say just after christmas perhaps? If it is all just speculation and the CEO of nVidia is doing it to wind us all up (see quote in spoiler below) then I will push to get it on my PS3. But I want to wait, just in case. As for LCPDFR, like everyone is already saying, congratulations on the members milestone and good work on version 1.0. I love this mod, I love the supporting modders of the community. So I will sit anticipating the 1.0 release. Good work guys :)

Braveheart's Policing Script
This is going to cause hell for me, Norton 360 has immediately deleted the .dll file for this mod saying it isn't safe -.- Really wanted to use this mod and I'm pretty sure its safe considering I've seen lets plays on youtube with the mod installed. Screw you Norton 360, screw you. (anyone know how I can prevent it doing this without giving me the obligatory " hurr durr norton sucks get a better av")
