Dumb question, I know, I'm sorry! Albo1125's plugins are finally outdated and most features are broken now. One that I wanted to keep was the Police Radio, mostly thanks to its Panic Button as well as the End Call feature. Those pesky callouts that are on the highway, and by the time I get down there,(without throwing myself off the roads like I would online lmfao,) hes left the city and it would take too long to catch back up, and similar situations have left me starved of a way to end the callout. I was curious if there is a replacement out anywhere with similar functionality, or at the very least, a way to end callouts. The SmartRadio is the only one I've seen so far that can do that, tow truck, coroner, etc.
I've moved on to Bejoljo's plugins, and I'm loving it. I also saw a thread regarding the nullification of the other Albo plugins too regarding Bejoljo's, and how they're no longer needed to function properly(the insurance and registration document is an immersive luxury I'm not keen on getting rid of!) Is that true?

Take my advice with a grain of salt since i'm fairly new at this.
It'd seem GrammarPolice is what caused your crash.
 
From looking at that, I cant say what GrammarPolice was doing to make it crash, but it's definitely most likely GrammarPolice that caused the crash.
I'd say try removing it for a session or two and see if that helps!

Thank you all! I appreciate every single one of you in this community! There's such amazing work here, and so many great people.
Now, to the subject: I want to help the community more. I feel one way is to respond more to 'My LSPD:FR Crashed' posts so that the Devs don't have to but to do that, I would need to learn how to read these crash logs to properly diagnose their issue. Since I have 0 skill in modeling and textures, and my coding is absolutely bare bones, I feel it's the best way.
SO: Does anyone have any suggestions as to where, or how, I can learn to read these crash logs? It seems relatively easy, but I don't know.

from what I told you in the discussion that you have opened in the GTAV support in the log you have attached not much is visible about the problem, it makes me think that something in the mod folder is making some mess, so I rabbit you to disable it even temporarily renaming it from mods in _mods (of course if you have one)

if you want to learn how to read the logs and find solutions to the problem the key word is START, exactly because it is through training that you become more and more expert and to know the mistakes of others and yours. When I was in the same situation as you, I started reading the registers and making mistakes even giving personal advice and learning even from the most experts, also starting to collect all the ideas to put them into practice and demonstrate all the experience you have learned (the same speech applies to programmers who become more experienced as they TRAIN). In the end many errors are always the same that if you already know you already know the solution, you can start looking at the most frequent errors in a discussion written by a member of the Staff:

that many do not read before opening a discussion but in the end they always come back among the frequent problems.

In this case the crash is due to GrammarPolice so what you can recommend to the user or my yourself is to remove this plugin.
 
In other cases are not indicated information about it and you can analize a normal log, so in these cases you have to go a little blind:
so this mean that the problems could be a lot:
 
in some cases who had installed plugins like vehicles or sirens, ... you can recommend to disable the mods folder (renaming it anthing) who inside can be occur the problem, and in another part the problem can be due to the system to a graphic card or also by the antivirus or outside the mod or outside the game. So here you can recommend what think is right to do.
 
I necessary also that when you help someone you request the correct log (Ragepluginhook.log file), because only there you can check the register.
In this log are indicated also the number of the version of GTA, of LSPDFR, of Rage, the plugins that the user have installed, ...

I am a first responder in a diverse city who has seen all of this first-hand. The United States is a police state.
 
Police in the United States are, for the most part, completely unaccountable. Police unions have applied pressure to politicians who refuse to criticize or reform them, and prosecutors who need good relationships with police so they rarely prosecute accusations. It is lucky to have a cop fired, let alone charged and convicted. Officers who do face consequences are often times rehired by other departments. Police in the US are famous for brutality, acquisition (legalized theft) of private property, and proven racial disparity in terms of arrests, aggressive policing, use of force, and murder. Justification for police murder is often times based on vague things such as the fear of the officer. Civil rights and First Amendment violations are not terribly uncommon, and rarely have consequences. All of this is perpetuated by a for-profit prison industrial complex, military industrial complex that profits off of police militarization, and an inhumane war on drugs. Cities are spending millions (sometimes billions) of dollars on police budget inflation as social services suffer, with no proven impact on crime.
 
The protests/rioting you are seeing in the news are a result of ALL of this, in addition to socio-economic conditions created by decades of austerity and exacerbated by an inept response to coronavirus. Currently, we are seeing widespread and disturbing police brutality in every city across the country, with pretty much no signs of accountability. It is a massive escalation of state violence on peaceful protesters. Use of tear gas, rubber bullets, and physical violence is rampant.
 
Get triggered by this, I don't care. Needs to be heard. Won't be debating, it'll just get shut down anyway.

So don't need policesmart radio anymore. The couple of things you can't do through radio yet (ie: ambulance/taxi as a transport) you can do through bejojo's plugin.

I loved Albo's mods and actually stopped playing for a while once they started to not work as well after he retired. When I came back, the only thing I could not find a replacement for from Albo's old mods was the ability to change pullover location.
 
With agreement from Albo, this was pulled out into a mod called "custom pullover" (It is still Albo's code so all credit to him).
 
There is another mod that expands on this to do the same as above but also include parking tickets and may grow more in the future called "Real Police Plugin": 
 
Other than that, all the other features get addressed in Bejojio's plugins others.
 
I stopped needing the police radio (to my wifes annoyance) once I started talking to dispatch using "VocalDispatch", but that is not everyones cup of tea...
I found it great as I could continue running away like a coward while calling for backup.

Pretty much the only reason to keep PoliceSmartRadio around would be if you wanted the aesthetic of the radio. Other than that, everything it did can be coverd by BejoIjo's mods. 🙂

Pretty much. Most features like ending a callout or calling in a license or plate via your radio are being added to Bejoljo's plugins. Ever since I've started using his plugins, I haven't used any of the older mods like Albo's stuff

Whenever i go on duty i am only getting three options for loadouts,Detective,SWAT and Patrol and if i try to remove weapons and add my own via trainer they get deleted and i get whatever loadout was given to me when i went on duty,i have no idea what is causing this and really need some help to figure it out,i am not sure what mod could be causing it,but i even put in alfredo helper to see if i could override the forced loadout but it just deletes my weapons and gives me back a Pistol,Taser,Flashlight and Baton and will not let me use any other weapon
never mind i just fixed it. Stop The Ped has a setting for realistic weapon loadouts and it was overwriting the normal loadout i always used,so if anyone else is using Stop the ped and cannot change loadouts go to your plugins folder then LSPDFR and then stop the ped ini and go to realistic weapon settings and change Enable on startup from yes to no

Seems to be PoliceSmartRadio conflicting with a ped situation.
Does this happen every time you go on duty / play?
