  1. yeah but I'm a bit confused... the calls you get from the MDT system does not really happen ingame do they? I've tried it some minutes ago and there was a call for a suicidal attempt in alderney so I drove up there to the named street but everything was empty... so pretty much a have to imagine that something had happend right?

  4. right... my thought was a beaconlight of a detectives car that is one time positioned on the dash and if you spawn it again it randomly will be positioned from the dash to the roof like it was put by hand out of the window on the roof
  5. cool that sounds interesting I will try this later.. but in case like you've explained it wouldn't be possible to reorient a part (e.g. beaconlight on dash / on roof) right?!
  6. yep right like like you can see in bxbugs123 2011 CVPI with it's SLR Vision Bar.. if you spawn it couple times you will get a slicktop version after some tries as well.

  8. well I really don't want to swank around but I think I got quite nice experiences in modeling in fact of I'm working as a development engineer for daimler and porsche but I do have to be honest zmodeler is not the easiest and comprehensible construction program out there :D nevertheless would you mind trying to explain the way you've achieved the drot lightbars? that would be really awesome if I also could try some stuff with it p.s. if you want to you also can pn me.... thanks alot!

  10. hey guys, sry for asking so many questions lately but I have a lot of cool ideas I want to create and try things.. according to the title I wonder how I have to setup parts in zmodeler to be rotating (e.g. in lightbars)... not the lights itself just the rotators. I didn't found a tutorial explaining something like it around so that's why I'm asking. Hope anybody can help me with it.. huge thanks to all of you

  14. hey guys, did anyone of you notice the problem that some extra's defined in zmodeler work but aren't bright at all?! I've tried some variations with a dual avenger and when I define it with extra_5 and extra_6 none of both lights are bright but the are flashing. If I rename one to extra_7 and the other to extra_9, the extra_7 work fine and is bright like it should but extra_9 don't... I'm a bit confused :D

  17. hey guys, some days ago I've started developing stuff and therefore I began with an unmarkd cvpi. I'd put some els whelen ion's on and into to the trunk which are attached to eachother. they work perfectly ingame but I figured out a problem I don't understand... in zmodeler are those lights correctly mounted with the trunk and everythink seems okay but ingame I can see some copies of them inside the car (not flashing) which rotates towards outside when I open the trunk. I've never made any copies of them in zmodeler so why are they existing? Even if I put some ions on the doors there are sometimes copies inside the car!?! is it maybe caused of the way how I'm placing parts in zmodeler?! I've noticed that sometimes parts with several other parts inside of them rotating differently in zmodeler when I don't rotate them in polygone mode.... hope anybody can help me with this... would be cool if I could release some stuff I did, but I want them to be clean before.. ;-)
  18. well I guess we shouldn't make it this difficulty.. we know that there isn't the opportunity for facial expressions like in LA Noire but there are a bunch of cool things except this detectives could do in lcpdfr ;) unfortunately I really don't know how to program an API like this even if I want to... are there any tutorials for it or some cool nice guys here on the lcpdfr-page which could do so?! :)
