    Added YouTube video

    I'm currently editing a patrol in LSPDFR in Windows Movie Maker, and I'm trying to add a video-long watermark [on my non-gaming channel I've had video-theft issues in the past]. However, captions only go for 30 or 40 seconds at a time, and the video is about 40 minutes long. How do I make it so that I don't need 20 billion captions?

    There is only 30 or 40 seconds available for a caption under the drop down for the "Text Duration", but I just tried typing in 1120.00 seconds for a random number on a random video I made a while ago & it worked. It made the caption last my entire video. Just gotta convert your minutes into seconds & then type in the "custom" amount of seconds.

    Of course, if you wish there is a setting on YouTube that allows you to watermark basically every video you've ever uploaded on that channel, & when a user puts their mouse cursor over that mark, it gives them the Subscribe button as well.

    Hope this helped!

    P.S. Here's a random video off my channel that was "recentish", but I checked a video I uploaded 5 yrs ago (2012) & it to, has the watermark. Bottom right corner for what  am speaking of. Plz note, the video below, I intended it to be used as an example of what I mean & chose it because it's the most "recent" video on my channel as life has taken priority over YouTube since the video was uploaded...

    Edit again: In the actual video below, I noticed I somehow also did a small watermark of the same image, in the bottom left corner. I'm looking into how I did that.

    Reworded a few things

    I didn't think IV worked with extra12?

    For GTA IV, the ELS extras have only ever gone up to extra9, so you are correct in your thought that IV doesn't/ won't work with extra12. (No disrespect intended, but I believe the OP meant to post in the respective Grand Theft Auto V forum)

    I've listed the hierarchy below for IV ELS. The L0s & L1s below are the actual lights, & in zModeler would be "under" their respective dummies

    Your primaries for ELS are:

    extra_1

        -> extra_1_L0

        -> extra_1_L1
    extra_2

        -> extra_2_L0

        -> extra_2_L1
    extra_3

        -> extra_3_L0

        -> extra_3_L1

    extra_4

        -> extra_4_L0

        -> extra_4_L1

    Your Warning Lights/ Wig Wags are:

    extra_5

      -> extra5

          -> extra5_L0

          -> extra5_L1

    extra_6

      -> extra6

          -> extra6_L0

          -> extra6_L1

    Your secondaries/ traffic advisers are:

    extra_7

        -> extra_7_L0

        -> extra_7_L1

    extra_8

        -> extra_8_L0

        -> extra_8_L1

    extra_9

      -> extra9

            -> extra9_L0

            -> extra9_L1

  4. Nice!

    looking awesome what lights are you using at the boot?

    If I had to make a guess, I'd say Whelen Vertexes that are surface mounted

  5. Hi guys,

    I recently updated my vehicles for LSPDFR & added BxBug123's 2014 Charger Pursuit LSSD into the police slot.

    It works great, however a few of the lights set as extras are flashing like the default GTA V rotators instead.

    Specifically, the front windshield ones in each corner, rear deck ones & the ones in the license plate area.

    I've uploaded a video showing this behavior to Vid.me (Skip to about 00:45)

    Every other vehicle I've installed, their lights work flawlessly. It seems to be jusr this vehicle slot, as I previously had a CVPI in from BlackJesus' LSPD CVPI Pack & the side pushbar lights & rear window lights did the same thing as the specified lights above are doing on the Charger. (Also had to many CVPIs in my game too lol)

    I've viewed the showcase video for the Charger in question on its file page, & the lights I mentioned above, aren't supposed to be flashing like this. Any thoughts on this?

    Hi guys,

    This question goes out to anyone who watches Hawaii Five-O.

    I've been trying to find an answer but have never had any luck.

    I am wondering what kind of holster McGarrett uses for his drop leg.

    I've managed to snap the closest screenshot I can in an episode I have on iTunes, & have added it below.

    I've determined the actual drop leg platform, is a BLACKHAWK Tactical Platform, as I have the exact same one for airsoft use. However, the holster is a bit of a mystery for me.

    I've determined it obviously isn't a BLACKHAWK SERPA holster, & I'm down to it being a Safariland ALS Holster (my thoughts) or a BladeTech holster (from other results I've found online, but nothing definitive).

    Any thoughts?

  7. I believe it has something to do with the local axis for the object & the dummy.

    I google searched your problem & came across this thread on gtaforums.com & thus found this video. Hopefully the video helps.

    Normally I wouldn't search it up, but it's been at least a year, since I've worked with zModeler.

    However, I do know that happened to me once or twice, & if I remember correctly, upon re-importing the car into zModeler, that was shaking, the chassis dummy wasn't in the exact center of the X, Y & Z axis, therefore resulting in the shaking. The farther out it was from center (if I remember correctly), the more "intense" the shaking was.

    I apologize ahead of time, if this isn't the solution for you, but like I said it's been at least a year or more since I've worked in zModeler.

    Cheers,

    Hi guys,

    I finally got around to updating to LSPDFR 0.3.1, and am also running PoliceRadio among a few other mods that tie in with LSPDFR.

    Anyways, my PoliceRadio screen, on Menu 1, the bottom 2 selections are cut off by my screen.

    What would I do to correct this, as I've never gotten a chance to use PoliceRadio much, and I do not know what the bottom 2 options/ selections are?

    Edit: My resolution in Graphics settings is 1024 x 768

    that only helps me with mods installed though openiv correct? not things directly placed in the GTA steam folder

    dammit

    The OpenIV mods folder will allow you to use modified .rpf archives, and use things such as custom vehicles, peds, sirens, etc.
    When the appropriate ASI Loaders are installed through OpenIV, the game will load the modified archives in the mods folder.

    However, re-reading that post again, as it's been a while since I set up my Mods folder, mods such as PCTrainer, LSPDFR, etc. will not work in the mods folder, and will need to be placed in the directory of your game that contains GTAVLauncher.

    Since some mods require ScriptHookV.dll, so after uninstalling the OpenIV ASI Loaders, make sure to remove the ScriptHookV files from your folder before entering online, if you plan on playing online at all.

    is it possible for me to have two Steam versions of GTA that are playable on my PC? id like to have my modded GTA and then have another GTA I can launch to play online? I have an unmodded GTA file, but it takes some time to copy the files into the steam directory folder. just wondering if this is possible? maybe have one copy on one drive and another on the other, I just don't see how to have steam on both drives

    thank you

    This article I hope will help you, and it doesn't involve 2 full, separate copies of the game.

  11. I'm aware this topic is old-ish, but figured I'd post a "solution" I found myself.

    Keeping in mind, I had this error happen twice to me today within 2 hours. The "solution" below is what I did after I got the error the 2nd time, and didn't feel like rebooting my PC again.

    Was able to "fix" the issue and get back into GTA, without restarting PC by going to settings.xml and changing     <Windowed value="0" /> from 0 to 1 which changed it to windowed mode. Switching back to Fullscreen at the main menu, just plain caused the game to crash with a GTA V has stopped working window. No pop up error window or anything. Keeping in mind I hadn't rebooted my PC for a 2nd time before trying Fullscreen

    Hope RockStar fixes this fullscreen problem in an update, but I should ( :P ) be able to live with windowed mode until it hopefully gets fixed

  12. Hi guys,

    As the title says I've gotten this error occasionally. A screenshot will be posted below.

    Today it happened, in the middle of a Solo Session, driving around the city, and nothing but driving.

    Trying to start GTA V now, results in that error. In the past, all I did was restart the PC, and it was fixed again for a while, but it'd be nice to be rid of this error once & for all, as it gets very annoying to have to restart the PC in the middle of a session with friends (has happened 2-3 times already). I haven't played GTA V for a while, but in the past after restarting the PC, I'd be rid of that error for at least a few months.

    My PC specs are in my signature.

    Any thoughts?

    Still using Chrome?
    I saw this topic, and just tried on Chrome. It's working fine for me

    May or may not work, but try clearing your cache? One other thing I can think of that I do when I have problems in Chrome with any website.
