Hi guys,
I'm looking for the siren in the YouTube video on >this file, but can't seem to find it anywhere.
As many of the comments say on that file, the siren in the download isn't the same as the video.
Does anyone have this siren, or know where I can download it?

Here's my current Desktop Background.

I am currently re-downloading again, once done I will update this to tell you what happened.
BTW Thanks ineseri for fixing the font in my original post.
UPDATE: So after re-installing the game, the base game runs perfectly, I will try to re-install all my mods now.
Don't install all your MODs at once.
Install one by one, testing the game after each MOD is installed, to hopefully isolate the MOD causing the crashes.

Are your vehicle (police.wft, noose.wft, etc.) and chassis dummies both lined up in the center of the axis?
For me, I make sure they're lined up in the Left view and the Top View, and for me that ensures they're lined up perfectly every-time.
I've never changed wheels before, but I have had my wheels out of whack before, but they remained the same size. :P
Another question, upon looking at the images is, did you possibly scale the new wheels bigger, mainly the two rear ones?
I've only been working with zModeler for about one month now, so I'm not sure what else it could be.

Any kind of lights are legal to have in the province of Nova Scotia, red/blue green, purple, white, amber, all legal to have, just can't be flashed on a public roadway, I can flash them all I want in a private parking lot, I asked a cop what he thought about it & he said it doesn't bother him, only thing I was worried about when having the TIR3's mounted on the license plate was it hiding my license plate tag, but they don't hassle me, cops know how many lights I have, because I told them, when enquiring about them, was also told I can legally replicate an official police vehicle without it being official, if it's just for show.
Nice.
Thnx for the clarification
That makes it really tempting to move there :P
Either way, nice car you got!
-
Glad it worked! :)
For me, to try get it perfect, I move it to the center in one view, say the top.
Then check another view such as left, and move it to the center.
So far, that has worked for me, in getting as close to perfect as possible.
On the dummies, idk how to explain, but there's a sort of "L" shape of 2 lines going through horizontally, and then vertically.
I use those lines as a reference, as in, if those lines are lined up exactly with the lines of the axis, then it's in the perfect spot.
Either way, glad it worked!

Noticed in the two pics, that you have some LEDs by your license plate, that appear to flash amber, and in the one that there's some lighting in the rear window.
Does your local police give you any trouble regarding the lighting in general?

I've gotten that too.
Despite the fact the task manager is covered by a black screen, in my case, I can see my taskbar.
I hover my mouse over the task manager's icon on the toolbar until the "preview" of the window appears.
I then put my mouse over that window, so the black screen temporarily disappears, and I can see the task manager.
I then use my arrow keys to select GTA IV under Apps.
I then remove my mouse cursor from the icon in the toolbar.
Having highlighted GTA IV, I then press a button on my keyboard (box with 3 lines in it, next to windows key) so that a menu pops up.
Pressing this key, is the same as a right click on the mouse.
I then use my arrow keys again, to select "End Task" and then press Enter.
This process (which is hopefully easy to read/ understand) works pretty much the majority of the time for me.
For me, if all else fails, I sign out of my Account on my PC, through CTRL + ALT + DEL, wait a few mins, and then sign back in.
I don't know if this will help you or not, but when my GTA crashes, and I attempt to end it using task manager, and get the black screen, that process above works for me.

My fleet varies for different purposes, and updates to the fleet as well.
But off the top of my head:
- Unmarked/ Slicktop Tahoe (FBI)
- Marked or Slicktop Impala (Noose. In the "assembly shop")
- Unmarked Taurus (Current Noose)
- Marked Crown Vic (Police)
- Unmarked/ Slicktop CVPI (Police2)
- Marked Tahoe (Polpatriot)
- 1983 Chevrolet Impala (Police3)
- Marked 2013 Durango (Police4)
- Marked Police Bike (Policeb)
-
Is your vehicle dummy (Ex: polpatriot.wft) and the chassis dummy both lined up with each other, and in the center of the axis?
I had a similar problem a while ago, and moving both dummies so they were in the center of the axis in any/ every view (top, left, right, etc.) and both lined up with each other, fixed my problem.

In ELS.ini are all your ELS cars set to "ON"?
Example:
[ POLICE ]Status = on File = police
Disregard the "police", as by default/ after download ELS v7 is set to default_config for all vehicles.

Did you try lowering graphics settings?
By default GTA IV, on install/ re-install erases your previous graphics settings, that may have given you a higher FPS environment, and resets it with the highest possible settings, for your PC.
Just a thought, as I've had to re-install a few times, and the result is the same every time for FPS, and I've never had this happen, and have never needed a commandline either.

You can get the F-150 from Driver: SF and convert it yourself or ask a fellow modder who has one, to let you have it.
The Silverado, only 3 people have that truck unlocked that was done by BxBugs: Bugs, myself, and one other person. He will not give it out either........... The truck can be found on TurboSquid, Humster, or from another game and that you can convert over as well.
Thanks for the reply.
I managed to find an F-150 from Driver: SF already in .z3d format.
Same cannot be said for the Silverado, as it wasn't in Driver: SF, and to my knowledge TurboSquid and Humster models do cost money, though I'll search for a Silverado from another game.
But, even though I have posted pics of vehicles I've put together in zModeler, I don't have any experience with converting vehicles.

If you're not great with computers, it does take patience.
Personally, I had someone show me the beginning basics, mapping ELS, scaling, etc. over a join.me session, and since then I've been able to do a lot myself.
There's still a ways to go before I become good (scratch modelling, etc.) but I can get a car in-game, with more then one lightbar.
One video that helped me was

No it definitely isn't. It is a Whelen, probably a 295. Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?395vwg9v37d4w78
Thank you
The Whelen 295 I already have is >this one, but the one you linked me to, is the correct one.
Thank you, again

I normally drive this Declasse Granger, with a rambar on the front, but my vehicle varies, depending on what I'm doing at the time.

Though, I think the Sheriff or a Sheriff Deputy has a problem with me driving this.
This is the 5th time in 3 days I've been pulled over, with no ticket being given....

Car alarm mod link says the mod doesn't exist
-
Thanks for replying!
That link is weird because for some reason it adds ")" when clicked. I don't know why.
Please try this:
if it doesn't work just delete the ")" from the link after you click it.
I don't have GTAPolicingTools installed. As I mentioned before I have clean GTA IV with clean LCPDFR. I hope error's still ignorable.
And there's still that ingame error which for some reason doesn't allow me to launch the mod.
1. By reading your first post, it sounds like you did get LCPDFR installed and working, before installing GTA in a different location (Apologies if I misunderstood). Did you by chance save while on duty?
If yes, you'll have to delete your saved game and start over.
Save files are located in:
Users%username%AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames
AppDataLocal can be accessed by using the Run command:
1. Press Windows Logo key + R
2. Type in %localappdata%
3. Press Enter or OK
If you did not save while on duty, I'm unfortunately out of ideas man, and apologize I couldn't have been of more assistance.

Hi guys,
Does anyone know the siren being used in this video?
I feel it might be a Whelen, but I'm just guessing there
-
I thought I ended this by deleting Daemon Tools' virtual drive and by installing GTA in different location but no, I still got the same error ingame. At least that fatal error popping up while I was quitting game doesn't show up anymore.
EDIT: Nevermind, after setting not to "read-only" mode there still is this FATAL ERROR MMA10.
There's a photo of my GTA under this text. Just to let you know that this is legal version of GTA.
Okay, I tried that image link, and it gives me Imgur's "Not Found" page.
Do you have GTAPolicingTools installed?
If yes, that error was mentioned >here, as a known issue with GTAPolicingTools, and is ignorable.

Running different versions of LCPDFR in MP
in Discussion
Posted
Friends I play GTA with, have said that, so far, 0.95 is working better in MP, in terms of stability and not crashing, then 1.0c.
Even if they're both running 1.0c, it did cause them both to crash eventually
