  1. Yes. Not crazy about them. It made the light bars look kind of funky. Didn't really seem to affect anything too much lighting-wise. Thanks for the help, though!
  2. With the snow. The lighting and stuff is pretty much the same whether there is snow or not. It's still very bright either way...
  3. yeah, I know, but surprisingly, there's almost no difference with the lighting
  4. Oh, yeah, I have the police light env set. lol- it's just hard to see with those damn street lights! Thanks, though!
  5. Okay. Thanks! Yeah, I downloaded it. The amount of files don't look so bad. I'll try it out. Thanks for the help!
  6. Thanks, but this is for the light bar, not the street lights. The problem I'm having is that the nights are too bright and the reason I think that is causing these bright nights is the street lights being too bright. I want to make them dimmer, not the light bar brighter. If I waited until night time and looked outside of my house, the street lights would emit some light, but if you were to try to drive without headlights, you wouldn't be able to see. The reason why I mentioned the light bar was to help everyone better understand what I was trying to say, reason being because I have posted this issue in the past and nobody really helped me or was really bothering. You seem to be helping me the most, though- I must say!
  7. Here are the screen-shots: Yeah, I have that. I always adjust my time of day/weather settings according to the time of day in real life I am playing/patrolling. It doesn't fix the street lights thing, though. It does, however, give me more flexible options for weather and time of day. I don't know what I would do without that setting.
  8. The light bar lights were fine, it was just that like, lets say I make a traffic stop under one of the street lights, the brightness from the street lights over-takes the light bar and it doesn't look realistic at all and you can hardly see the police lights. Sure. I will screenshot now.
  9. I tried it, but the "trafficLight.intensity" value didn't affect the intensity of the street lights at all.
  10. Hi. I just wanted to know if there is any way I can dim the street lights at night? Whenever I patrol around at night (especially with the snow mod), the street lights are so unrealistically bright to the point where it is just plain annoying. I can hardly see the light bar on my cruiser. Is there like a ".ide" or ".dat" file or something like that where it allows me to change a setting or the value of a number to dim the street lights? I'm not looking for any ENBs or graphic mods because anytime I try one it screws up my game. I don't have any ENB or anything like that in my game now. Thanks for your time! Please help me with this!
  11. Yeah, I figured that. My computer is pretty high-performance though. Anyway, Thanks!
  12. Hi. I just wanted to know if a live desktop background (meaning the background changes every couple of minutes) can make my GTA 4 game slow and lag and maybe crash? Thanks!
  13. Okay. I'll maybe take a look at it. If anything I'm comfortable with just getting out of the car and doing it. Thanks guys!
  14. Hi. I just put in a couple of new models for the taxi.wtd/.wft and cabby.wtd/.wft. On the site I got them from, in the picture of the models (scion for cabby, and Lincoln for taxi to be exact) there is no yellow, just regular colors. The problem I'm having is that I don't want it to be yellow, but the colors it is supposed to come in (gray, silver, white....). My only guess is maybe any model you put in place of the taxi vehicles will default yellow? Thanks!
  15. I know all of this --- Like I said up there (^^^^) it doesn't work. When I press the keys (Ctrl+z) nothing happens.... Idk, I'll try pressing the keys a few times in a row to see if it works.
  16. Yes I have. And the manual. Doesn't say. I tried that. It doesn't work.
  17. Hi. I just wanted to know how I can get one of those wooden, blue police barriers to spawn behind my police cruiser while I'm in it? What do the police helper settings have to be and then how do I do it in game? Thanks!
  18. Hello. I just wanted to know if there is any way to control the amount of crime activity going on around you. Like when I'm driving around and then a chase breaks loose around me. Is there any way I can control how often that happens? Also, when I make traffic stops, is there any way I can control the amount of times the suspect will flee, thus, causing a pursuit? Thanks!
  19. really nice! Can you just post a rear-view pic of the Tahoe? Thanks!
  20. Can you post a pic of the back of the Tahoe? Looks great so far!
  21. yeah, I've always been looking for mods/ENBs for realistic nights and to fix the unrealistic brightness at night time and I just recently realized it's the friggen street lights... Well, anyway, I hope someone posts here with an answer.
