It seems that there's some instances where PED arrests are sending blank court cases. What's causing it and how can it be prevented? How can one trace the culprit?

[REL | WIP] LSPDFR Computer+
Is there any chance more modifiers can be allowed when writing charge and citation definitions? I'd like to both have the option to arrest someone or not and fine them or not. As well, I've never ever gotten the Vehicle lookup or Manual PED lookup to work. Is this because of how LSPDFR handles those bits of Data or is it something with the mod? I should be able to get something on anything I've seen recently, but it's like the game just forgets about it forever, even though I had just seen a name or a vehicle plate.

Possible to implement badge-flashing for plainclothes?
That's pretty cool. I've never seen that, either. Being able to quickly identify your backup or other LEOs in the field would be very handy and make things more immersive. They need to stop coming back as WANTED, first, though. XD

Ahh that's a shame - but I'll say that that particular impala had a bad problem flipping over more than a Reliant Robin.

You can't make this stuff up! So, in the process of Add-Onifying someone's Impala with ELS - I've discovered that ripping a door off, or some other amount of parts will eject an entire vehicle with partial collision instead of parts. Just wow. Is this something I can fix at my level or is this indicative of the car itself having problems?

Creating Own Departments?
It's possible, but there's no tutorials. You should start with checking out the structure of the XMLs inside of LSPDFR. Through those definitions and the connecting other files, you can piece together a completely new department or agency.

Request: Completely documented gameconfig
I want to see the community create a completely documented gameconfig file for the purpose of controlling just about everything in the game. There's a lot that's mysterious or arcane about the gameconfig, and when it comes to memory allocation, nothing should be left to mystery. I'd like to see everyone in general start using comments to document every file in the game. I'd be a great help to the community to share what we know about the game and how it works.

GTA5 and Ragehook crash - gameconfig related?
First: I have a custom gameconfig and both heap/memory mods. Now: I occasionally get this sort of error when using certain cars - for example, the Police Prius that I'm working on, or the Impala that I'm working on. Both are addons, and my gameconfig has been jacked up. The error suggests that the game is accessing memory illegally and shutting down. I can't seem to nail down the circumstances for reproduction, but I'm sure it has to do with one or more than one being loaded into memory. Either these two add-on vehicles are too much for even a beefy custom gameconfig, or they are configured or set up wrong as add-ons.

Add-onified car oddities and crashes
It's working! Current have this Impala add-onified as police5, but I'd like to give it two different variant names in order to allow LSPDFR to get either the Sheriff livery or the LSPD livery. Meanwhile - If I run into something while bailing out of hte car - it doubles the model and crashes the game once I get back IN. Strange...

Yeah, I get this - it's a bit annoying but when things are double up on controls there's no scope or focus to control open windows or menus.

Infinite Crash Loop!
Unsure if this had to due with internet connection or some game process, but I had a wild infinite crash loop. At the time, I had lagged pretty badly, and can't really explain how it happened. A detained suspect wandered off and got into a fight. I pursued and tried to deal with both - then screenshot happened. I suspect @Darkmyre 's LSPDFR Comes Alive may have something happening with its ambient event system that creates crashes during or just before a callout (perhaps as it tries to use something shared - perhaps the other way around and it's LSPDFR), but this one really stuck out because of how catastrophic it was for being an infinite loop.

Riot callouts
Would be nice, but the designer of the callout would need to bear in mind the following: The game has a habit of introducing chaos into scenarios. If you show up to a riot and have some bit of dialogue, or you want to control all those PEDs, you're creating a lot of room for errors and problems. There IS a protest in front of police station callout, and I'd say it's too structured and the first time I did it, I had to chain up even a few NOOSE members for acting like psychotics before more chaos entered the scene. Besides...Without better systems that let the world take care of itself - you're not gonna solve a riot by yourself.

There's a few out there that can help, but it's better to learn how the file works and what it works on. Unfortunately, no one is in the habit of using XML comments to pass on such knowledge when they distribute their own XMLs. You'll have to do a lot of digging on your own and figure out what might be causing what.

PEDs can reappear but with different birth dates?
I've noticed that I have a few recurring characters with my mod setup, but I've noticed that they sometimes change birth dates... Kate here started as born 1/11/1998. She ended up born in 1995. Now - if false identification is a thing in any of the various mods I have, there needs to be a way to identify false IDs. I doubt it's false or even a feature. Relevant Mods: LSPDFR+ Computer+ STP TrafficPolicer LSPDFR - and all of these mods - should be aiming for a decent level of persistence as a matter of high priority. You have databases already in use, and they are either becoming desynced or not storing/accessing/mutating information to expectation. Expected outcome: PEDS should - whenever they appear with a name (and face!) they've appeared with before, should have the same identification or record. This should include: All basic identity information, Current Address (previous would be also neat), gun permit, wanted status, wanted status details, a persistent criminal record (Citations and Arrests).

All-in-one plugin installation Package
Unfortunately, there's egos involved in everything, and that makes this sort of thing very hard - not just in GTA5 or LSPDFR community. Documentation is incredibly important and everyone should be writing mods and changes with the intent to pass the knowledge along. This is seriously one of the hardest games to mod and one thing that would make things easier would be if everyone began using comments in XML files, ESPECIALLY gameconfig and several meta files - explaining what everything actually DOES in the game.

WELL! IT seems that the problem lay in a very hard to see XML problem. SO! After that, and some work with the carvariations to make the color work. I have a working Police Prius! I'll be taking down the files to those links. After I refine the handling and the lighting, I'll upload the car and give proper credit. I did a lot of work on this to make it a full add on!

Trying to make Add-On vehicle from Replacer
I AM SO CLOSE! Using a neat little tool, I managed to set up and copy paste enough to get the car working in game. The only thing left is getting the sirens and lights to work. When you hit E, the car only beeps its horn, and the game doesn't seen to understand anything I've set up. Since I was not the one that rigged the light - I have no idea what goes into make the lights actually work. The car is flagged as emergency and Law enforcement, but isn't treated as such. NOTE: - Car is flagged as Law Enforcement and Emergency Services in vehicle file. - Computer works in LSPDFR when enter vehicle. - Lights do not. Just get normal horn.

Controlling spawn rates of vehicles
So - I've learned that one can put any car in sections the popgroups file and it'll spawn on traffic, but now I have another problem... Controlling the spawn rate! Example here: The Arena is really the most glaring instance of this, but when I had edited some values inside the vehicle's meta file, it caused problems. Am I missing or misunderstanding something about editing those values? Backup spawning dirty cops!
It seems that either LSPDFR's backup, Ultimate Backup's backup, or LSPDFR+ are spawning with criminal histories and not showing up as police as the player would. It makes me wonder why all of this kind of information is attached to the PED database to begin with and accessible or extended so it's universally accessible? It seems like there's lots of desyncs and problems now that we expect PEDs to have a criminal history of some kind, several legal status, and different bits of information that need to be shared between any amount of plugins...
