You can't make this stuff up! 

So, in the process of Add-Onifying someone's Impala with ELS - I've discovered that ripping a door off, or some other amount of parts will eject an entire vehicle with partial collision instead of parts. 

Just wow. 

Is this something I can fix at my level or is this indicative of the car itself having problems?

    That's an issue with the model itself, the author would have to fix it
