  2. This is not early access. We are not providing early access. Those are applications for beta testers, media team or collaborators. All those three groups gain access to the development build of RDE, but each member of those groups needs to do what they were assigned to do. We reserve the right to accept, deny or revoke any applications at our discretion and for any reason.
  3. Don't worry, everybody thought Jesus was gone for good as well.
  4. There are some crashes in downtown that are not gameconfig related, we are in the process of fixing them.
  5. Depends, sometimes it takes more time, sometimes it takes less time.
  6. AlexanderBlade never communicated much with the rest of the general public, and it sometimes took him two weeks to update ScripthookV. Be patient.
  7. Those vehicles are not spawnable, only models are present in the files.
  8. Those are an exception, and we are not planning to add any more, save for one or two models.
  9. We are aware of that issue, it will be fixed in 3.1.
  10. OpenIV Situation; and the Future going Forward: As most of you should be aware; the team behind OpenIV has received a cease and desist from Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company. In response, the OpenIV team has decided to shut down; and will cease support. As a team, we are deeply saddened by Take-Two’s decision. However, modding is often a gray area; and companies often change the way they approach modding. We wish the best to the OpenIV team in their future endeavours, and would like to thank them for their irreplaceable and invaluable service to the community; starting with Grand Theft Auto IV, and evolving to support Max Payne 3, and Grand Theft Auto V. As for us, we will continue to develop and release RDE as planned; provided the modding tools which are required still function. As of now, we don’t have any thoughts about abandoning or stopping development - OpenIV still works fine, though it won’t be updated anymore. In the meantime, make sure to show your support for the cause of modding - spread awareness, contact press and Take-Two, do not buy any of Take-Two’s products. Show the corporate executives that the modding community is not to be trifled with. Together, we can do this, and we can set a precedent that will discourage other companies from following Take-Two.

  12. It says that you do not own the game (you merely get a license to use it), and that reverse engineering is prohibited.
  13. I don't like this as well. They should have released the source code a long time ago.
  14. You are not forced to uninstall, at least not yet.
  15. You would need to add cars and peds (there are guides how to do that on lcpdfr), edit SixStarResponse XML files to add entries for new cars and peds and then use those entries in specific areas. You can also modify popcycle.dat and popgroups.ymt to have the added cars and peds spawn in ambient traffic.
  16. I was about to reply to your post on gta5-mods, but I'll do it here instead :P Thanks for your kind works, we appreciate that! We have considered adding university police, but considering that they have a very limited jurisdiction, the amount of work to include them would not really pay off. As of now, there are no plans to add it, sorry.
  17. VisualV works fine (I use it myself), as do most graphical mods.
  18. We have too considered that, but adding any more new script functionality is out of question for 3.1.
  19. I am considering programming such functionality, but I won't make it for 3.1.
  20. Well, both vehicles are already in 3.0.
  21. The peds will be updated with new equipment, and vehicle fleet will be expanded.
  22. @The Knight You may find a dev post outlining what we are working on for RDE 3.1 in the link above.
  23. Notice the word new. They have new belts, heads, accessories, props, ymts.
