Vicodin got a reaction from patchadams69 in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019It’s ultimately a good thing. Official support or endorsement is usually more of a pain than pleasure. All the support and endorsement a modding community needs is a well-documented modding API, which we have thanks to RPH, no thanks to Rockstar. Some games are built with mods in mind, but leave the rest up to the community. Others are built with in-game mod browser or similar that is heavily moderated, has strict TOS etc. And I believe R*/T2 would be even worse.
Plus the one thing many people forget, modding does not make them money. If it did, they would recognize it already. But they have online - they don’t need modders. There are dumbasses that buy a buttload of shark cards each time a new update to online hits - just because rockstar keeps inflating and inflating prices of everything. I stopped giving a damn about the time the damn boats came out. And now they are gonna do the same with RDR2, which is really a shame. But the blame is not solely on R*/T2, as long as there is enough people okay or happy with such business model, it will not die.
I think there was an activision/blizz dev that came out saying “If people would not buy it as much, there would not be microtransactions everywhere.” or something in that sense.

Vicodin got a reaction from TheLordEmperor in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019We're not supposed to discuss support here, but you're aware that both ScriptHookV (that you need to have for ASI scripts to load) and AdvancedHookV (that comes with ELS) have logs, right?
If you shoot a message my way I can try to help as best as I can.
How the hell do you embed YT videos here, I'm sorry but I can't help myself, with all the french in here

Vicodin got a reaction from Tucker6977 in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019On a positive note I managed to survive my first "panic" today. Holy s* so many cops show up when you call panic on the radio. And the perp even managed to survive, get multiple charges and i made sure to have her court hearing before exiting GTA V. Nice 22 years she got.
She was just reving her engine behind me while I was making a traffic stop. When I used "stop the ped" to get her out of the car, she got out and pulled a handgun on me. Got into cover, called panic, got like 2 shots into her. By the time the panic support arrived, I was about to put the handcuffs on. I think my character ended up with like 2-3 shots in his back. Scary stuff - and the EMS I called afterwards just handed me a first aid kit, because that's the remedy for all of life's problems 😄
Clinically depressed? - Here's a first aid kit.
Shot to the head? - Here, have a first aid kit.
You seem to be missing a few fingers, I brought you a first aid kit!
Oh, a clean shot through your Johnson, a first aid kit should fix that.
Your wife is leaving you because we gave you a first aid kit last time? Look on the bright side - you can have another one for your alcoholism.

Vicodin got a reaction from Nostrra in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019Livin' on the edge 😄
I get it with an AIO, if it looks like it was leaking during shipping, no way is it going in.
Buuuut, the last time I did the flush, cleaning and refill, I was a bit too enthusiastic with the filling. Or my hand slipped. Either way in the end it looked like a crime scene, with a pastel red coolant all over the case, on the backplate of the GPU, slowly dripping down onto (thankfully not into) the PSU. After cleanup with paper towels it looked like I was involved in a ritual sacrifice of a chicken or two.
I felt like "The Verge" of watercooling.
Yet the PC still works.

Sounds like a plan! I'm gonna jump on duty in 0.3.1 in a while, so far I mined a few ounces of gold in Gold Rush, checked out a few "newer" videos on Police Activity, and went through all the posts since the last time i checked here. 19:30 local so another night shift 🙂

Vicodin reacted to Marc1869 in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019Ok, now this cat is being held hostage until the release of 0.4. Now for some odd reason if its not released within the next 24 hrs.....Well....I have no choice but to call in and have this beast eliminate this precious feline....So if you don't want anything to happen to "Mittens" just give us what we want and nobody has to get hurt 🤣🤣
Oh and for those who are just so uptight over these post just know we are just passing time and keeping most of everyone on here entertained....So please sit back, grab a bottle of whiskey and enjoy the foolishness we bring to the forum lol...Im just saying

Vicodin got a reaction from BananasNJW in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019Why do so many people go through the trouble of a fresh install of GTA V, when it's literally like 2 folders you have to delete and LSPDFR is gone 🙂 And you are robbing yourself of the beauty that still is 0.3.1, there's no better way to shorten the wait for 0.4 than by playing what you got.

Vicodin got a reaction from Cucamonga in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019I decided to shorten my wait for 0.4 by installing, tweaking and playing the actual version that is available, after almost a year I played GTA V last. And let me tell you, last night's duty was a "blast" 🙂
(possible wall of text)
Here's a short report:
18:06, Los Santos International: While completing arrest report for a traffic stop involving a wanted person, a nice lady decided it would be a great idea to run up to my patrol car, sit into the driver's seat and attempt to drive off. While I am standing next to the open door of my patrol car. After dragging the suspect out of the car, detaining the suspect, I noticed a smell of alcohol in her breath, breahalizer clocked in at .108, adding a DUI to the list of her charges - even if the car moved at most an inch. After filling in the arrest report and waiting for prisoner transport, I noticed that my assault rifle needs reloading. All of the sudden, suspect is on the ground, face down, signs of life are not present. CPR failed. Cause of death: getting meele'd in the face by assault rifle. Moral of the story: always lock your car.
19:25, El Rancho Blvd: After a routine traffic stop, suspect flees the stop on foot after being asked for an ID. After giving chase, approx. 300 ft in the direction of Murrieta Oil Fields, and several verbal commands to stop, it is decided to go for less lethal option (stun gun) in the suspect's back to force the suspect to stop. Mistakes were made, most likely cause was holsters shifting while giving chase, and instead of less lethal in the back, the suspect took one 9mm. No signs of life, CPR failed, another job well done. Moral of the story: don't run.
22:05, Grove Street/Forum Drive: Regular patrol, identified a couple of "nigt workers", approached first suspect, ID'd, many fith pleads, decided to pat down. Suspect had a mascara, a dildo and a few condoms on her. No signs of intoxication, suspect was let off with a warning. Second suspect decided to flee upon request to ID herself. After forcing the suspect to stop with a less lethal option, I was involved in shooting with approx. 50 bystanders .... Panic was signaled through radio.... The rest is a bit of a blur. Glad to say I made a full recovery after being treated in the nearest medical facility. Moral of the story: grove street bad.
Aren't you glad I aint a real police officer ?? 😄
Can't wait for tonight's duty! I sync my game time to system time, so I always get night shifts. But they be funny 😄

Vicodin got a reaction from Zalym in LSPDFR 0.4 - Coming February, 2019I don't, sorry. It would be a great stream/video material but I am not well equipped for such.
The randomness of GTA always entertained me, and with the addition of LSPDFR on top of that, it can lead to some truly amazing interractions. Those were the highlights 🙂
The hype is very real for 0.4 ... Tell me you're not checking atleast once a day 🙂
