No it was necessary, these guys are doing this during free time. They aren't compensated for their work. Their compensation is their community. The praise they recieve, and knowing that people enjoy the mod they are making for us all to enjoy, free of charge. What they don't need after all the stuff in their real lives, after their real jobs are done for the day, and after they do some work on LCPDFR, is someone whining about the way they are donating their free time to their community. Just be patient, and show them support instead of criticizing their development methods. You'll get your golden goose eventually Varuca Salt, but I for one won't be surprised if you are unhappy with the way the golden eggs are laid.

How about for the sake of your fellow community members? No one wants to listen to spoiled brat "I want it now!" whining.

Ok, I got it fixed. The fix is simple for you people who run into this problem as well. Use the timecyc.dat file included with bxbugs123's radiance mod, copy it to EFLC/PC/DAT and TBOGT/PC/DAT and TLAD/PC/DAT. You also need to copy the modified visualsettings.dat included with ELS to the correct folders.

1 Day and 19 Minutes? My timer says 2 Days 1 HR and 47 mins. Do we all have different timers? lol

The file should be in your root folder for GTAIV. If you don't have it, then ELS just uses its default settings. If you are using V6, just look in the zip file, for ELS.INI and copy it to your root directory. After its there you can edit it with wordpad and change the settings.

1adam3 there is a file called ELS.ini that you can edit, in that file it will tell you what number is for what color reflection. Just put the right color in for the particular light on the lightbar that you wish to change.

Hey guys, I decided to delete GTA IV and just install EFLC with Steam. I have ELS v6. I copy the Visualsettings.dat file to the EFLC/Common/Data and TBOGT/Common/Data and TLAD/Common/Data. This is what is supposed to make your light bar actually look like lights and just not extra bright textures. I had no problems with this with regular GTA IV. Now however, these visual settings don't seem to make the lights actually look like lights. It looks like regular stock visual settings. Any ideas?

This is actually the one I'm looking for, but can't find anywhere. It's probably one of the best sounding sirens I've heard.

Yes xGessx, the siren in that video is sweet. I also like the federal touchmaster siren, but the guy who made it kind of botched the regular wail. Would love the link to that siren please.

No thank you. Being an American, I never could get used to the European style siren.

That's kind of a shame. Most of you seem to dislike it. I was hoping people would praise the realism of the increased back up response time as a positive experience. Maybe an options menu of some sort could be something G17 could work on in the future to give us more ability to tweak how real we want it to be. Still interested in hearing others experiences with hardcore mode though, keep posting please!

Ok out of curiosity, how many of you play LCPDFR in hardcore mode, and what are your thoughts on Hardcore vs Normal?

Ouch, I paid like 10 bucks for the GTAIV and EFLC, not gonna spend near 50 just for lightbars lol. Guess I'll leave modelling to the pros.

How much of a process would it be to change the lightbars on a model? I find that my biggest sticking point when downloading a new model is more with the light bar than any other aspect of the vehicle.

I noticed that it said lighting mode was activated. Keep pressing the , key until it says that it's deactivated and that should solve the issue. Not a bug, if you hit ALT-M you'll see that the last option on the menu is constantly cycling through. Not sure what this mode is for however.
