We’re happy to welcome everyone to the public preview of LSPDFR for GTA V Enhanced Edition! This is an early preview build, so please keep in mind that not all Legacy Edition features are available yet. We’ll be continuously updating this version as we work toward full feature parity.

Plugin and callout compatibility
If you’re wondering whether your favourite callouts and plugins will work: in most cases, yes. A small number of mods that directly interface with the game’s memory may have issues and need updated by their creators, but the vast majority should run fine.

The new RAGEPluginHook has been designed to mostly 'just work' using the new hybrid RAGEPluginHook approach.

NVMe + DirectStorage warning (RAGE Plugin Hook)
If you’re playing GTA V Enhanced on an NVMe drive (you MOST likely are if you have a new system!!), you may see a warning from RAGE Plugin Hook about DirectStorage being enabled. To resolve this, install the DirectStorage fix (also linked by RPH):

Please pay particular attention to this mod's requirements (particularly the ASI loader).

Should I use Enhanced Edition?
RAGEPluginHook and LSPDFR are using a hybrid approach to support both Enhanced Edition and Legacy Edition going forward. We’ve also seen a lot of feedback online suggesting that Enhanced Edition loads faster and runs better than Legacy.

That said, this is a Public Preview. Some mods and callouts may not be updated yet, so Legacy Edition may be more compatible for now. The Enhanced Edition versions of LSPDFR and RAGEPluginHook may also contain bugs that haven’t been caught in Insider testing.

A lot of content, for example all vehicle models, need ported to Enhanced and will not work out of the box. Tools like OpenIV largely do not work, and have been mostly replaced by CodeWalker. You will not be able to use most content modifications out of the box on Enhanced Edition.

Ultimately, our goal is to keep this choice in your hands for as long as possible.

When you press Q when nearby a handcuffed ped, he kneels. There is no function to check if that ped is kneeled.
 
I recently came across a situation where I need to use this, I know it's a very small thing but I hope this gets added.

If renaming your mods folder stopped your problem that means unfortunately something in your mods folders is corrupt. 
Either a mod you installed or a file you edited. If you can remember what you installed or edited most recently then you can try and remove it or restore the vanilla version. 
Otherwise I'm afraid you're gonna have to start your mods folder over again, as it is pretty much impossible for us to diagnose what's actually causing the issue.
The only other thing it could be is if you recently installed a large amount of addon cars you may need to install a custom gameconfig.

Hello. It seems there's a bug on this new update of RPH and LSPDFR.
 
During the callout which has a ped in combat with weapon (e.g. gunman), the hostile ped won't fire, as if they don't have the ammo.
When I called LSPDFR vanilla backup, the cops also won't fire... they just keep aiming their gun, without firing a bullet.

It might be Christmas Eve (at least over here) but that's not stopped us from clutching pretty big-time to release a minor feature update for LSPDFR 0.4, and the first public release of LML - just in time for Christmas!
 
LSPDFR 0.4.6 adds a couple of new features, with an emphasis on improving the detention of arrested suspects:
New animated sequences for detaining suspects in police vehicles. Improvements to holding and dragging suspects, including the ability to run with full animation support. New backup options for calling the fire department.  Firefighters will respond and extinguish any fires in the area. New, slick animations for drawing and holstering sidearms that don't interfere with your character's upper body. Extended support for using Online freemode characters in agency and backup configurations. New configurations have been added to the vanilla data files in 0.4.6 adding new outfits from The Diamond Casino Heist update. Other miscellaneous fixes and enhancements.  
In other news, the initial public release of Lenny's Mod Loader - an innovative at-runtime mod loading solution by @LMS - is also here.  Previously available as Early Access to our supporters on Patreon, LML is now available to all as a Public Beta.

Thanks for the report as well, will check.

A couple weeks ago I had a post about the game crashing when going on duty at any police station with the cop walk selected.  Changed it to another walk style and no crashes at the station.  So yeah, there is a glitch with that style.  I use the tough guy walk now.  I actually like that better.   Looks like a badass walking up to people.  Maybe a bit too intimidating but hey!  😄 

Yes, it is a downgrade compared to the previous apartment. Both apartments are available, so depending on your bribes payroll you can use whichever suits you.

We've made some changes to the cop walkstyle and improved animation compatibility with our latest update tonight. There are still some minor issues occurring sometimes, but it should be much more usable now.

It's a free mod developed by many people in their spare time. You are coming off with an extremely entitled attitude.

Thanks for letting us know this.  We fixed a couple of issues with the walk styles in 0.4.2 but this one specific to only the Cop one has slipped the net.

As above, I don't think it's allowed to help people with illegal copies of the game. Sorry.

I believe it's because RPH only works on a retail copy of the game, so you would need to buy it.
Also, the LSPDFR forums do not support cracked games, so we would be unable to offer any further assistance.

So I set my walk style to Cop and every time I frisked someone it resets the walk style to normal but in the menu, it still shows the cop walk style.
I know that 0.4.1 should have fixed that.
I have the newest version installed and I'm still having this problem.
