  2. Just a heads up that your siren downloads (at least the vehicles.oac version) has modded skid sounds that don't sound very good. IMO the only modified sounds in your files should be the siren related ones so that it's clear what someone is installing into their game. Anyway, great job on the siren and the work you put into these is insane and very appreciated ❤️

  7. You can replace the model with any of the many wonderful mod vehicles available here in the downloads section. You can (and in many cases must) change the vehicle handling line in vehicles.meta to something that matches more closely to the car you are replacing it with. For example, if you replace it with an FPIU (Ford Explorer) you would want to change to BALLER2 or in my case, I changed it to RADI because I have a vehicle handling/physics mod installed.

  9. Well, two things. First, what are your graphics settings in GTA V? Second, remember these are mods created by people in their free time, not professional work (although in many cases it is at or near that level.) Stuff like the hands not matching the steering wheel are a limitation of these being mods inside a game that is being made to do things it was not designed to do.
  10. Hey guys, recently I did a format of my hard drive and reinstalled Windows 10. I've got a fresh install of GTA V (the Social Club version, not Steam FYI.) Before I wiped my drive I had LSPDFR working with zero problems. I also want to add that I'm a very advanced user - not to throw shade on other users but this is not your typical "I downloaded LSPDFR now it crashes, halp!!!" type of post. I have a lot of experience modding in general and working with LSPDFR. So anyway, before I did anything as far as mods or LSPDFR goes, I started GTA V and went through the SP until the first save you can make as Frankin (as I always do on a clean install.) Closed GTA, installed OpenIV, then installed LSPDFR. Again, NO other mods, 100% default LSPDFR install here. What happens is, there's some kind of problem with LSPDFR where it won't show IDs and what not when I pull someone over and ask for ID. For example, let's say I blip a car and pull them over. I get the LSPDFR prompts as usual (press > to talk to suspect) etc, but when I ask them for ID, instead of showing up on the bottom left, NOTHING comes up at all. When I go back to my car and open the police computer, I can insert their name using LB or vehicle's plate using dpad down, but nothing comes up when I try to search. It's like LSPDFR's ped database or whatever you call it is totally broken, or at least it can't be accessed at all. I can't emphasize enough that this is a totally clean install, something I've personally done probably a dozen times. I'm no stranger to doing it... however this problem is throwing me through a loop. Is there some dependency LSPDFR requires, maybe a Visual Studio runtime package that I may not have on a fresh install of Windows 10? I have 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2015. Not sure if there's something else or what, but I'm totally dumbfounded here. Any help MUCH appreciated! edit: Figured it out, in-game notifications have to be turned ON.... lol.

  13. Agreed. LSPDFR is dead in the water without his work, or at least only a shadow of what it could be. edit: I don't mean that to be a knock on LSPDFR itself, it's awesome all by itself. I'm just saying that BejoIjo's work takes it to the next level and offers the functionality that ideally, imo, should be in the core of LSPDFR.

  17. sheriff2 uses fbi2 handling by default I think.

The work bakerxgooty puts into these sound packs is friggin' awesome. The sound mixing is just perfect and it blends just right when you hear it in game. There's just enough natural reverb/echo that it sounds insanely realistic in game, whether you hear it right up close or when it's 3 blocks away.
  19. Cool 🙂 I'd like to ask about another (possible) issue in some of the callouts in your pack. Sometimes, peds that are part of the callout (e.g. the graffiti vandals) enter a "hyper" state where they just wander about the area in a fast walk. I've seen it for sure in the graffiti/damage to property callout as well as the VIN checking callout. I'm not sure if they're actually supposed to be in full "flee" mode with pursuits generated or what, it just seems weird the way it's working right now. Anyway, thanks again!

  21. When I'm doing the silent alarm/burglary callout, any cars that drive through the vicinity have the drivers disappear causing a massive pileup of driverless cars in the road. This happened in 0.4.2 and now 0.4.3. Anything I can change on my end, or just a bug? Thanks for the awesome callout pack.
  22. It's a free mod developed by many people in their spare time. You are coming off with an extremely entitled attitude.
  23. Correct, you'll need to wait.

  25. With my female character, she just gotta says "... a license?" like the whole audio clip is not playing. Anyone have any ideas?
  26. I agree, the "normal" everyday calls are fun, especially when they are created with a bunch of random probabilities. Expands the gameplay endlessly with enough possible outcomes, locations, ped probabilities, etc.
  27. Thanks. I noticed the Albo1125 modding pack available for download here includes a gameconfig.xml, but it only places it in the Common folder... so I guess that's not correct.
  28. I know many people recommend swapping in a new gameconfig.xml for handling extra cars etc, but I noticed there are two gameconfig.xml files in the default GTA V install - one in GTAV\common.rpf and one in GTAV\Update\update.rpf. Which one is the one that the game actually reads?
