So I've been getting back into LSPDFR recently - installed everything a week ago and it's been running great, until this evening. Now I can't even launch the game with RPH or it just instant crashes... I haven't changed anything, not added any new mods etc. I've tried totally reinstalling every single thing (the game, RPH, LSPDFR, my plugins etc.) My specs are more than good enough to run the game (Ryzen 7 2700x, RTX2080, 32gb DDR4 3200 etc.) Here's my log:

It's been a while since I've played LSPDFR, but I think in 0.4.1 you could start a session off duty, and then drive to the station, and go on duty. Is there a way to do that in 0.4.6? I always seem to start on duty miles away from where I'd like to be wearing a totally random uniform etc. Thanks

Bumping this topic, as I'm STILL having the same issues. Log looks exactly the same. Even re-installed Steam and my OS, and still no luck. Surely someone has experienced this before and can shed some light on the issues?

Can you post your launcher log? It'll be in your documents/rockstar games/gta v folder. If you're using Razer mouse/keyboard, then try turning off Razer synapse, apparently that's causing issues for a lot of people since the Casino update.

Hi all, Went away last week, on vacation and I've come back to now have GTA crash on me at random points. Totally vanilla, no mods. So far I've tried - Reinstalling GTA, disabled firewall/windows defender, updated drivers, closing potential conflicting programs (razer synapse etc.) This is what I have in my launcher log. There's no pattern with the crashes. Sometimes I can play for 5 minutes and it crashes in the city, other times I can play for 2+ hours and it crashes in the middle of no-where in Blaine County. All assistant appreciated, as I have no idea what to do.

Does this new release deal with any of the frame rate issues everyone's been having? Or is it still just as bad as before?

You'll have to look through the downloads section on here. As for what you do/don't like - that's up to you, we can't really help you, as what we like, you might not.

I tried this, and yes it does get rid of the ambient events, when calling for backup etc. or driving near a police station it will still load up the game by spawning mp peds, editing them, clothing them etc. I meant, I wish there was a version which was like 0.3 in a way. Custom player model, but the option to have vanilla cop peds to save game memory.

Did you place the .xml files that came with the mods into the ELS folder?

I wish they'd release a 'lite' version without all the custom ambient cops to the honest. My brand new rig (Ryzen 7 2700x, RTX2080, 32GB DDR4 etc.) suffers from texture loss/pop-in when playing 0.4.2, because of all the ambient stuff, which 90% of the time, I don't even see or take notice of. Not to mention my fps is about 32fps in the city with 0.4.2 running, wihout it, I'm hitting 120+fps . Even my old rig could hit 45+fps in the city on 0.3.

Are the modded vehicles compatible with ELS? You'll need to download ELS enabled vehicles for the ELS to work. Failing that, unsintall els, and redownload/install it. Then install the .asi loader, then install the vehicle mods, and remember to put the .xml files for the vehicles into the ELS folder.

This might sound weird, but if you can - clean the vehicle? Some times when modded cars get dirty it hides the livery. Failing that, make sure the .ytd file actually contains a livery in it. What vehicle is it replacing? Sheriff2?

It's a long winded approach, but you could do the following: - Set up the checkpoint as you want - Use The 'G' key to slow down traffic (I believe this is in LSPDFR, without any plugins) - Stand infront of a slow moving vehicle as it approaches, and use Stop The Ped plugin to order the ped out of the car, to do a drug/breath test.

Yep, can confirm this has actually been an issue for a while (even on 0.3) I made a post about it last year, but no-one took any notice of it. I've been in a police SUV and tried to pit a Panto, and it's impossible. I either bounce off, or the cars grind against one another and I end up getting pushed into a wall/lamp-post/another car. It's incredibly frustrating to chase a car that weighs circa 900 tons

First of all, we'll need your RPH log, as without this, it's impossible to tell what is causing the crashes.

Check out EUP in the downloads section. Adds tons of uniforms, BCSO, SAHP, NOOSE etc.

I’m pretty sure it’s when you go into a police station, and go to “police locker” and there’s an option there to change character. if not, in the pause menu, under the lspdfr tab there’s an option in there somewhere

I just had the default one in, I’ve only recently put EUP in my game, but haven’t had any crashes. Good to see you’ve got the car spawning though, and by the sounds of things your issues have stopped 🙂 by the way, are you running a graphics mod? Game looks a lot cleaner than mine and I play on ultra lol

Might as well keep it at 60k, as it doesn't affect gameplay, just gives larger mods that little bit more time they need to load in. Have the issues just started today? If they have, I imagine they're linked. Also, try changing your RPH to load plugins as soon as the game starts, lspdfr seems more stable that way for me.
