  1. So I have installed it. But I want the vehicle to remain unmarked. It has the stickers on the sides. I went into one of the files are deleted all the "ss_signs" but when I enter the game the car has strange colour texture issues where it changes black to yellow to white... etc.
  2. What does this mean? [ERROR - 1:17:27 AM] [script.CalloutManager] Error while processing callout: StolenFuel: Value cannot be null. 3. Fresh install however when I try to call backup using F11 or F12 - I get an in-game box appearing with a parameter message. When I enter the police vehicle and login to the computer and select NOOSE support the game crashes. In addition when I call for standard reinforcements or an ambulance none ever arrive. Any reasons?
  4. I just re-installed GTA 4 and added the 1.0.7.0 game patch and then installed the LCPDFR mod with the latest ESL 7.0 pack. In addition I added 2 custom police mods using "GTA IV Vehicle Mod Installer". For some reason I cannot permanently switch on the sirens, I have tried using Caps, H, Q, etc. The only button on my keyboard that allows the siren to work is T (but you have to hold it). What key allows me to toggle the alarm on/off permanently? Thanks.
  5. Thanks Tom. I might use the trainer instead, since the saved game files I have found on the net don't seem to be working. ============= Solved the pathing for the saved files (below) Appears the GTA folder is also here: C:UsersNAMEAppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegamesuser_XXXX
  6. I just purchased the GTA IV PC title so that I could use the LCPD modification. The thing is I have played and beaten the game already on my PS3 and I am to lazy to do it all over again on my PC edition. Is there a way for me to unlock the whole map so that I can roam as an officer around the world. I tried to find some random saved game files across the net that I could perhaps copy/paste - however I assume with this Windows for Games Live thing it prevents me from simply placing a file and playing from it. Since I noticed that; C:UsersNAMEDocumentsRockstar GamesGTA IV contains no savegames folder (or any other contents that reflect my existing saved data). Any ideas? Really want to play on the final "island" and take on police missions there since I prefer that scenery :) Thanks!
  7. Ok, so I changed: Ai_ELS_SP = 0 // Toggles ELS on/off for AI in SP to 0 from 1. I assume that was the function you were talking about. Cheers :)
  8. I purchased the GTA 4 game from eBay for this particular mod from the UK. I installed the game and also the latest updated the 1.0.7.0 version. I also installed the LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 and included a couple of vehicle skins or modifications (just overriding the fbi/police vehicle types using Spark). I can play the game and the LCPDFR modification just fine, however in most cases the game crashes after sometime. For instance this morning I played for about 40 minutes and it crashed. The second time I played for about 10 minutes and it crashed. Its quite random. I am not sure what the reason might be. I know sometimes when I use the backup in pursuit if I press for assistance to many times the game crashes. However, sometimes when I simply press SHIFT to pull someone over the game crashes when I get outside and walk to their window. So it has happened several times under different circumstances. I understand the mod is not completely stable, but if you have any suggestions or would like any feedback - let me know. Not sure if there is some kind of log that I can view. NOTE: I do have the Emergency Light System (V6) and Traffic Flow modifications also installed. Cheers.
  9. I see. Thank you for the quick reply. I just started the game, still learning the commands. Would be nice if they had an in-game menu or command box to view what you can do.
  10. Hello, I am new to this mod and forums. I just recently installed LCPDFR. However, I came across a mod called "Emergency Light System" (or ELS). I am not sure whether this is needed or a worthwhile mod? I did download it, but no idea how to install the thing since I dont see any .exe files or any instructions as to whether i need to copy/paste contents. Either way, your feedback is most welcome. So far I only installed the latest LCPDFR mod, nothing else. Any suggestions for other mods, please let me know. Cheers!
