I tried logging on with my main account (the ibuprofen one) for the first time since like 2012 or so, and I just can't remember my password or associated email address. 😞 But yeah, 0.4 has been particularly finicky lately. I'm restarting with 0.3 and quietly monitoring the progress of 0.4.

It has to do with files added to the game. Whether it's car models, plugins or something else, it's definitely something you added.

So let's brainstorm together for a minute if you will. I have about 30 replacement cars between my patchday18 and patchday20 folders that spawn with everyday traffic, and then I have a Fast and Furious pack that's sitting in the game as add-ons just because I like the F&F franchise. These add-on cars, however, do not spawn in game unless called upon, which would be never with LSPDFR running. Do you really think my replacement cars and a pack of add-ons that don't see any action are causing a straight to desktop crash? I've tried so many remedy methods I can't even remember if I tried disabling the extras in my dlclist, but I'll try it now. I'm also a little skeptical because my crash isn't happening as soon as I load LSPDFR, but like 15-20 minutes after patrolling. The game is 100% stable for at least an hour or so without LSPDFR loaded (this includes with RPH loaded).

Or at least on a second monitor! For now I'll just keep with the un-paused background and moving the window over as much as possible. Adds a little realism if anything.

Just a word of advice Daywalker; stop deleting things from your game for right now. I don't know how to prove it, but I'm 95% sure we are experiencing an issue with LSPDFR itself. A LOT of people are starting to get this same crash and it doesn't point to anything specifically. It's maddening, but even Albo is experiencing this same crash, and c'mon, he knows how to mod the game (as do I). I'm also getting this same crash at random but almost timed intervals (15-20 minutes in).

Unfortunately. I just don't see anything obvious in your log, and honestly, it looks like some of the logs I've had that have no real explanation.

I was afraid of that. A lot of people right now are experiencing crashes that just a few days ago they weren't. I'm still waiting to hear what more experienced modders and the developer's themselves have to say about this, because I'm absolutely stumped. Even Albo is having a crash.

Try removing Taffic Control and see if that fixes your issue.

NOTE: You MUST download Thehurk's BMW R1200RT from his "2017 California Highway Patrol Mega Pack" as I do not have permission to re-upload this model. I have, however, included the necessary ELS VCF file as well as my custom .ytd that will provide you the lore friendly livery and all blue lighting. Also, you will have to modify your vehicles.meta to remove the tint that the two vehicles spawn with. I didn't include mine for fear someone would replace their already modified version and break their game, so find "police4" and "fbi2" and change their "<diffuseTint value" to "0x00FFFFFF". And when I say consistent, I mean I can count on the entire game crashing after 15-20 minutes of LSPDFR game play every time. The game plays fine for at least an hour by itself (just haven't had the desire to push for longer) and even with RPH loaded, but on duty; crash. It's also important to note that I haven't changed my game since the last time I was able to play for an unlimited amount of time, but now all of a sudden this is what I experience, and every log looks about the same (i.e. it's not loading a callout/plugin):

I feel like I owe it to the community to provide a little update on my recent inactivity; I just started my new job this past Monday, so until I can better adjust to my new schedule and the whatnot, most of my free time is being dedicated to my wife and kids and a little single player LSPDFR enjoyment. I hope to pick back up on the list and tutorial videos over the weekend. Thanks!

See the supported plugins. LSPDFR+ isn’t a supported mod and I guarantee the reason for your crash.

I don't see why not. Just edit the backup XML or use Ultimate Backup.

I've tried two different download places. Unfortunately neither play nice with my LSPDFR. Oh well, it's just a radar script.

Yeah, Traffic Policer and Speed Radar Lite are good alternatives, I just like the look and realism of the other one. Haha I'm working on a mod showcase video to show just how much stuff I have in a stable 0.4.

Not gonna happen. I have a LOT in my 0.4 folder and if I have to sacrifice a radar script, I will. Lol
