I usually put mine near the top to ensure its displayed, if its placed behind the windscreen but its at the bottom of hierarchy, it won't show ingame. Which is why if I'm doing that, I'll make sure its above the windscreen in the hierarchy.

How do you create dummies? I usually just use the ones already found in the default IV cruiser

On IV, if you turned on sleep mode on your phone you wouldn't need to worry about maintaining your friendships as it froze the main story line and any phone calls you would get.

I'd be totally fine with The Walking Dead style of zombies, the traditional ones. If its anything from Left 4 Dead or 28 Days Later (Infected) Then I'm fucked. I can't run that far or fast.
