In response to the RTC Callouts (Road Traffic Collison) Driving around on the highways, you will notice damaged cars because of the different behaviours AI have in this game thanks to R* I've seen cars plow into the back of others and run people over, so my suggestion is this; Somehow get the script to notice this event and start a world event? (Arrest the driver, call a ambulance etc.) Scenario; Your pulled up at a red light, across the intersection on the other side you see a car plow into another car or a pedestrian, the script could somehow notice this "event" and simulate a callout? If its not possible, do what I do; If I see something like that happen, I just play it out. I'll call for a ambulance, wait for the verdict (if the ped gets up or not) then arrest the driver for death by dangerous driving.. Yesterday I arrested a Fireman because he ran over my partner and killed him. And as for the Paramedics terrible driving (which causes mosts deaths in this game IMO), try and improve them like you did with the police AI.. I've noticed them just speeding past me, then coming back damaged.

I uninstalled my one because sometimes when I got out of a car, the car would turn the way my character was facing as he got out.. was quite frustrating.

That could be your issue. Anyone of those 10 mods could be conflicting with LCPDFR, could you list the mods you have please? And there used to be a Manual installer for 0.91. Not too sure where it went though. Oh and LCPDFR does not modify or delete any files. You should have these in your scripts folder LCPDFR (Folder) FirstResponse.net FirstResponse.ini

I'd use SNT and try to shoot my car over there.. give or take a few thousand wrecked cruisers. The forklifts are there so the fat cops don't have to run anymore :D Just ram the suspect up the backside with the forks.. That's an arrest they won't show on cops. xD

Once the game has loaded up, press ' When the Scriphook dialog comes up, you should see: LCPDFR (Version Number, Date) Using Luxart Emergency System = False OR ...successfully loaded ... ...successfully loaded... If none of those come up, LCPDFR isn't being loaded by the scripthook for some reason. I suggest trying the scripthook that comes with SNT.

Sounds like D.E.P is protecting your PC. Data Execution Prevention: I had this issue ages ago on my old laptop, I know theres a way you can allow GTA to run through it but I cannot remember how

I'm liking the rest of these, but for the love of GOD.. NEVER put a callout on Happiness Island.. 0_o For one, there's no road linking it to Algonquin so you'd have to make one in a mod. Two, Its not a vehicle place, if you look at it you'll notice its a ped only area

Thats because the public beta of 0.95 hasn't been updated since it was leaked, and it'll continue to be that way until the final product. The testing version of 0.95 is a huge improvement, bug wise. And thanks for watching :thumbsup:

1. Enhances it. Makes me feel like Liberty City is a huge place 2. Yet to try it, just installed the FPS Mod 3. Not sure. Only found one. One thing I will say is, If i use this mod without installing the "Realistic Handling & Driving" mod, I can't drive for shizz. Because of the stupid suspension on some of the cars all I see is either side of the road or the sky.

The "LCPD Light" theme seems to overlap embeded youtube videos. For instance, I can see the video, but I can also see the background picture at about 70% transparency.

256MB of Dedicated Video Memory? Sorry bud, that'll have issues even on low settings. I also don't recommend Macs for gaming

Have you tried putting .ide at the end of a file name instead of .txt ?

Hey guys, Since I've been here, I've noticed an increasing number of support threads that lack the proper format. The posters are usually told to go look at the sticky. But then a small amount of them fall out of the pack and need even further help like on running the diagnostics tool. So, I've compiled a small video tutorial ranging from updating GTA IV to running the Diag tool and locating working scripthooks. CAN BE FOLLOWED FOR 0.95RC 1 Feedback appreciated. Video is half the size due to an error with FRAPS, should be fixed in any future videos. Full screen it and view in 1080p to see the text clearly, or you can just follow my vocal instructions. - Harper.

I know its late, but I've just this minute got around to testing this and can confirm it WORKS! Seems likely that 0.95 cannot recognize when I'm aiming with the controller

If you add the game to steam, make sure you add the LaunchGTAIV.exe instead of GTAIV.EXE. And no, You can launch it through the desktop or steam, but your friends will see you playing it (Works with any non-steam game) if you use steam I did this for SWAT 4 yesterday.

Theres a Wired xbox 360 controller for windows for £24 in Argos (if your a Brit).. plus it works for hundreds of other games too

Keeps going directly behind the car blocking your view? Seems like a mouse issue bud.

Update your Sound Card drivers. Or try a re-install of GTA IV if that doesn't work
