Thought I'd share my new found love for this game.. its awesome. Granted the driving isn't the most realistic in the world, but that's what makes it enjoyable.. Drifting past another car with a few millimetres to spare is fantastic . .Only got this game yesterday and I'm already addicted to it. For instance, have a look at one of the online gamemodes: Outbreak Transporter (My favourite) There are (of course) loads more, but I'll run out of space on this page.. My only downside to this game is the youtube uploader.. its crud, you are put in a queue to upload.. yesterday i was 163/163 .. i then got pushed back to 200/200 .. And the glitchers in outbreak mode.. there's no way you can get them. Opinions? :thumbsup:

MAJOR NINJA EDIT Looked at your report. You don't have these installed: A ASI LOADER!! Scripthook Install those then try LCPDFR again.. Although I'm 99% certain there's a file or two i've missed out here. First to add to the list gets a Rusty Brown's Iced Donut :thumbsup:

On some laptops, you have to hold down the Fn key then press the number you want / key Like other's have suggested, change the key bindings. It does work, I had to do this, changed my busy key to E as I had re-occurring issue with the F8 Key Hint: the Fn key is next to the windows key.. or to make that even simpler, its two keys to the left of the spacebar on most laptops.

After a bit of relentless searching and a few cruddy videos. I've found something I think we can all enjoy. The IV Flying mod. Not created by me. "This will add new aircraft and replace the feroci2, airtug and ripley with new planes. The cockpit views are awesome and the planes are located at the airport. No more police chases at the airport." This mod looks epic. But I can't find a download link for it.. if anyone does, post it here pl0x!

DLM? I'm not sure I've heard of it. What does it do? Have you tried running GTA as a admin? Have you updated your game to patch 1.0.7.0? You may have a corrupt mod. If you made any back up's before modding, revert to those and just add the mods one at a time until it crashes again. I've got these installed on my system (which can just run GTA): 2011 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor (replaces police patrol) 2010 LCPD CvPi (replaces police cruiser) 2011 Ford Taurus Stealth (replaces FIB Buffalo) ELS v6 Traffic Flow Realistic Gun Sounds NYPD Siren's LCPDFR 0.91 Dashcam Mod Realistic Helicopter Sounds Simple Native Trainer v6 Realistic handling and damage So, as you'd imagine, If one of those mods were corrupt. I'd know about it, try what I suggested above.. and my system has passed it's time, so I'm confused as to why your's keeps crashing.. :thumbsup:

*facedesk* A save game is the file that the game loads each time you start it up Without it, you'd be starting the story over and over again each and every time you loaded the game (remember playing a PS2 without a memory card?) To make a new save game you would usually do the following When ingame, bring up the pause menu > Navigate to "Game" > New > Yes. But seeing as yours crashes, do this: C:\YOUR NAME\ Documents\ Rockstar Games\ GTA IV\ savegames\ In that folder, you should see a number of un-open able files called SGTA00 <--- this is your save game, delete it. ControlMap.dat <---- This is your key configurations, leave it alone

Its entirely possible to put it back in, the handling's there.. you'd just have to make a collision file and the actual plane itself by going off that picture. All you need is a modder who's willing to do it

So I got a little bored recently and decided to have a little read up of beta vehicles in GTA games.. I noticed that this was once in the beta of GTA IV, along with the shamal; Reading further down, I also noticed that; There's two possible reason's why this was cut; Liberty City is not as big as previous GTA's, hence there's no need for planes September 11 attacks on NYC. LC is based on NY What I'm curious about is, by looking at the above photo and using the handling line for the vehicle in the handling.dat file, is it possible to re-create this vehicle? There are also handling lines for the Shamal and "The Fighter" which is presumably a upgraded Hydra and the Andromada Thoughts?

Wasn't patch 1.0.7.0 meant to fix frame rate issues? And give you more options in the "Graphics" tab.. Have you tried using a commandline.txt?

I thought I'd kick it off with some footage of LCPDFR. Tonight at 19:00PM (GMT London) I'll be streaming footage of me using LCPDFR online.
