I am new to LSPDFR, just came from LCPDFR finnaly. Do i need third party script mods for basic conversation frisk and identification purposes?. Is that not built into LSPDFR?.

Don't you need Script Hook V for all the call out plugins too?, or is it just ELM/ELS?.

Site is down and it's against forum rules to share links, so we all ( myself included ) unfortunately just have to wait. I just took advantage of the steam sale and was excited as hell JUST for LSPDFR since i already beat the game on console. Hopefully within the next few days the site will be up and Script Hook V will be updated so we can all get on patrol again, or for the first time for that matter... Stuck in LCPDFR for now.

Thanks for the links, i have those added to my folder now. However i have noticed RAGE plugin Hooks site is down and the Scripthook V is still pending update. I have my prepaid card in-front of me but want to assure i can play LSPDFR before my purchase. The site will return to functionality and the Scripthook V will be updated correct?. I waited some years to migrate to V from IV and it looks like i picked a sketchy time. There is no way to get the mod functional as of now, without the updated scripthook and active RAGE plugin site, right?..-..i hope. Would be a damn shame for TakeTwo and Rockstars online content crap to snuff out LSPDFR this early. Hoping to eventually see 1.0 release :).

So there is no online capability due to taketwo and Rockstar, i see that sadly. But even if i wanted to set up a LAN game with my roomates NOT online we could not even do that?. Was hoping to patrol with my roomates like we did in LCPDFR.

Banged out the story on a friends Xbox years ago, and have been playing IV and LCPDFR for ages. Have been waiting for the right time to migrate over to the new game and today is the day. My aim is to play LSPDFR with a hardcore/realistic angle. Does LSPDFR have a hardcore mode like LCPDFR?. If not what kind of modifications can i get for increased difficulty. Such as bullet impact euphoria and reduced health/armor and or increased damage taken from ped weapons. Aiming for immersion and realism while hopefully not CTD'ing every hour. I have a folder with 30+ Script Mods and intent to do vehicle and weapon modifications as i see fit, however the big thing for me is having it be challenging. I want to croak as fast as the peds do. Any script/mod recommendations for a new LSPDFR Player?. Also is there any modifications that change the frisk results , as to make some of the objects found not so over the top/goofy.

So you do not see the taser model, and it does not draw/work when you press T even twice?. If the manual install fails that's odd, however the latest version 1.1's auto installer may work. I encountered this issue myself and do not recall how i resolved it. I believe it was a script or runtime C++ or redistributable issue. Anyone else able to help Officer Dennis here get back in action in Liberty City?.

You are in the LCPD First Reponse Section, it looks like you are requesting help with GTA V and LSPD First Response.

Don't hold your breath for a 2018 update. The only one anymore is Steve and its only once or so a month. The rest of the LCPDFR content on youtube is rather lack luster.

To fix your graphical error i believe you need to add "-nomemrestrict -norestriction " to your GTAIVLancher.exe or steam application. That should resolve the lag and or inability to increase/change your graphics settings. If that does not resolve it the odds are you have a hardware and or requirement issue with both games. Now onto the LCPDFR conversation...-.. LCPDFR and IV in general i find and some others as well to be generally more realistic and fun with the Mod. The Physics, driving, and general more stable 1.1 version of LCPDFR has so many features the 0.4 LSPDFR lacks. Also i feel IV and LCPDFR is more challenging as it's nearly impossible to die unless you play with Hardcore Enabled. The gunplay, EMS and fire script mods along with various other callout related ones are not as plentiful as V however. But still with Bravehearts , and the other various script/plugin callout downloads for LCPDFR there is hundreds of call-outs to respond to and countless real time random world events to encounter. Then again if you don't believe me just refer to the content, current LSPDFR / LCPDFR Manuals and features yourself. This video was also very informative and telling for many in the Grand Theft Auto community.

I'm looking to play , but last i checked the script was non functional in multiplayer. Even with GFWL and not using xliveless i could not manage to get it working. Even have a roomate and we used a flash drive to copy/paste our files to assure they were identical for compatibility. Could not even get it going in LAN. If there is even 3-5 of us in 2018 looking to play LCPDFR Online still we should work together and figure this out and all link up. Can we make a discord or something?.

Sadly can only change Department name and abbreviation. I tried linking my account through the original config but still it just fails to reach authentication server. But regardless i appreciate you reaching out. Just wish there was a way without the API.

I still play LCPDFR daily and would really like to get rid of the random officer names when i play. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone from the support staff generating a personal key for me. Please and thank you.

Google is biased trash anyway, their founder thinks there are no biological differences between men and women. YouTube has been suppressing content creators that don't match their agenda for years. So sad, I had a couple of monetized NHL videos and because pissed off some communist Google Employee on a Stephen Colbert video they just blocked all acess to my YouTube account. It sucks when even the small time content creators are feeling the pinch. Then again these days people would rather see you kill/hurt police on youtube rather than play them in a video game. Society has gone downhill fast, at least in the US.

IMO LCPDFR and IV is general is more realistic and fun to play. LSPDFR's frisk system and results are a laughable joke too. LCPDFR is also far more stable. Not to mention the use of Natural Motions Euphoria Physics Engine was used 100x better in IV than V. I feel nearly every aspect of IV is better than V aside from graphics and online content. Then again it seems I am the only one who thinks singleplayer games are good anymore, and graphics don't make a game good. V is some bright and shiney easy going arcade title, where as IV is gritty, dark and way less forgiving. Always happy to see people returning to LCPDFR, as I personally have never moved on from it. Maybe in a few years when LSPDFR's content is not all vehicle and ped mods I will get on board.

Dang, i am actually about to get a new gaming rig and was looking forward to finally trying LSPDFR. I know I'm way late to the game but i hope it's not over already....

I personally think everything aside from the graphics are better in Grand Theft Auto 4. This video above has a vast amount of unbiased side by side comparison clips for anyone to judge. I really do think IV is superior in every-way aside from it's graphics. I honestly even personally prefer the dark gritty Liberty City tone over bright and over saturated modern Los Santos. Then again that's just me. However i do acknowledge V has the graphics here. However IV's gameplay is far superior, the version of Natural Motions Euphoria Engine was implemented much better in IV also. The ped physics are unmatched by any i have seen, along with the intense vehicle model damage capabilities. And as well the vehicles in IV actually handle more realistically, with differing weight and suspensions, no turning on a dime like an RC car. (GTA V). Also when it comes to the hand to hand combat, IV has V beat easily. V has like two basic attacks and one repetitive corny kick. IV has unique dodge counter moves, combinations as well as light and heavy attacks. When the guns come out IV comes out on top as well, without the ability to use auto aim, and NO recovering health. I know i am clearly biased, however bare in mind the video above in question is not. I would prefer to play GTA IV or LCPD:FR offline by myself than grind and watch explosion deaths on GTA 5 Online any day. What are your thoughts?, which title was your favorite and which do you think was better and why?. Below is an interesting comment i found on the above video that is rather in depth.

Got my multiplayer/online up and running. I backed up my game and did a fresh install for Multiplayer use only. I'm currently setting the Modification List for the Server i will be hosting, also have a discord server ready as well. I will PM those interested the mod list if you want to play. It's mainly scripts, avoiding all vehicle/weapon or texture mods and such to make it smooth for all involved with little to no crashes. I'm going to be playing daily, so all are welcome to join me.
