Steam auto updates your GTA IV to patch 1.8.0, you need to downgrade back to 1.07 so the scripts and mods can work.

You know, i have had so many problems with crashing in the past. This last reinstall i have only a LOW END ENB , Gun and skin mods along with 6 plugins. I found that removing my vast amount of vehicle and enhanced ENB modifications i have been able to play 4-6 hours without a single crash, all callouts work and even the added script ones do not cause a crash either. Sadly i don't know jack about coding or the script itself so i cannot help you further. Someone help this dude lol.

Steve you rock, but play more LCPDFR. It's better than LSPDFR as it stands now.

Just use the installer from this site and be sure you have a .dsound ASI loader. Scripthook and all the other necessities will be installed automatically with LCPD:FR's Installer. Steam will try and patch your game to 1.0 8 but you can always downgrade it like you said above. It's rather easy to be honest. Once you get into adding 6 or 10 scrips then things can get complicated.

I really want to use partners but sometimes they actually tase and arrest and do their jobs. But sadly it is only 1/4 of the time. The rest of the time they are engaging and killing unarmed resisting civilians all over the place. I cannot quiet figure out how to stop them. Can anyone lend me a hand?, i heard of partner mods but i have no idea what they are or where to start. Much appreciated to anyone who can help. VIDEO EXAMPLE OF MY ROUTINE PROBLEM BELOW.

The way the log looks it seems not LCPDFR related as stated, check your Scripthook and ASI loader and dsound and such. I'm honestly not a troubleshooter or anything just read through it all and the authentication error and this seem to be happening over and over.

Was this ever implemented in 1.1?. If not please finish LCPDFR with version 1.2 or 1.3 where you add this and whatever else you have. Don't forget about us LCPDFR guys.

Before you ask, yes i did a manual install. Then tried automatic, and even reinstall again after that. I have checked my mods, and everything. Here is my log below in attachment. I am really desperate here boys, long time LCPDFR player who is coming back after some years. Saving up for a new rig so i can get on LSPDFR, but for now i am looking to enjoy LCPDFR. However not having the taser is driving me nuts. I even enable the option to have it visibly rendered on my body and i do not even see that. i get the red square, but no draw. Any and all help is greatly appreciated guys. We love the gangs in GTA IV, they are discrete, dangerous and a plenty around Liberty City. However unlike other Grand Theft Auto titles, in IV gangs are not pointed out or even shown to you ( aside from some interactions through story missions ). Some gangs are all over a certain area, scattered across blocks and cruising by the tens in the area streets. While others may be isolated in small territories, hidden away in allies and parking lots. In playing GTA IV for as many years as i have , i located and documented many. However in playing and RP'ing a little with LCPD:FR, i have literally found them all with the assistance of Rooneye and this old 2008 guide i have since revised. How do you tell if someone is in a gang?. Rooneye engage them and when they start to fight back you pull out a gun, if they continue to fight you or they pull out a weapon then they are a gang member. If they dont do that then they aren't a gang member. Or equip a gun and walk into them, if they tell you to put the gun away they are a gang member. Unless you are working for them (see “Gang Mentality” below), in which case they wont hit you or tell you to put weapon away. Also gangs control and defend a territory and can be seen in that area walking around, conversing, smoking, etc. However bare in mind based on the LCPD : FR Script some civilians you encounter who are criminals will posess weapons and be aggressive although they are not in gangs. Gang mentality: When getting into a physical altercation with a gang member without a firearm it usually ends up in a 2 vs 1 scenario. Another member witnesses your attack, and comes to back his friend. Once you wound or knock out one member, don't be surprised if a another runs up from a nearby sidewalk to challenge you as well. When you engage a gang member with a firearm you can expect all nearby civilians to scatter, police to be coming as well as nearby gang members to assist their friend under fire. I have seen up to 4-5 members engage in a firefight with police or niko at any given time, and with various weapon types depending on the gang. Vehicles: Gangs each have two gang vehicles that are unique (or modded). e.g the Spanish Lords have a red and gold cavalcade that has a massive sound system in the boot and they have a red and gold primo too. However the Russian Mafia seem to have 4 cars. This could be due to two separate Russian Mafia factions, Faustins and Petrovics?. Or could there be a separate Eastern European gang in Hove Beach?. Up to you to decide. Gang cars are only found (normally) in their respective gang s turf, however they can be driven sometimes by normal peds, but most of the time a gang member or 2 will be in them. However sometimes their vehicles will have 1 or more civilian occupant ( girlfriend, non gang associate friend, etc ). Appearance: Each gang has a unique look and vibe, and a variety of attires and member appearances. Whether it be the Russian Mafia or the Latino Gangs in Cerveza Heights, you will notice members sport different outfits. Although the outfit and appearance may differ, the alliance is the same. Bare in mind each gang is different in it's appearance, and their look is a key identifying factor. Some gangs look exactly the same like the North Holland Hustlers and Firefly Projects M.O.B. These two gangs have the same looking members as each other, those big fats dudes as well as those that dress in the orange sweat suit and blue/red tracksuits. And the Firefly Projects M.O.B gang always talk about “Holland” as if they come from there. Ive read people say the Firefly Projects gang wear red (bloods) and the NHH wear blue (crips). I dont believe this is the case, both gangs wear both colors depending on what gangsters spawn in the area and a lot of the times you see both blue and red together. Those big fat dudes often wear red hoodys and there some who wear blue tracksuit tops with and bottoms/shoes with blue in or the other way around, these people are in both gangs. Both gangs also drive the same cars (Patriot with lights on & Intruder with TVs on the back of the seats). So they're either the same gang or 2 different “sets” of a gang or just a different gang that look exactly the same and drive the same cars. The Gangs 1 : Russian Mafia Turf: Broker - Hove Beach, Firefly Island, Beachgate, Cars: Black Mafia Schafter; Black Mafiya Sentinel; Black Rebla; Balista Compact ( Rear Window slides) Weapons: Knife; Pistol; Shotgun; AK47 The Russian Mafia are a big and influential gang based in the south part or Broker. Members can be seen all over Hove Beach, Firefly Island and Beachgate in large numbers. They wear many different things including; Suites, Russian hats, leather gloves, army bottoms, black/diamond turtle necks, green/brown suite jackets and loads more. Some have tattoos on there hands, some have a Soviet hammer & sickle on the back of the hand, some have a cross in the palm and some have a tattoo on the back of the hand which i cant identify as its too hard to see, I think theres 2 of these. All I know is theres no difference between them looks wise or anything. They can be identified easily as they often wear silver/platinum chain with $ or a money note, again in reference with their name and also silver/platinum/ice watches which most of them seem to have. They dress in "Hip Hop" style clothing with baggy bottoms/jeans and hooded tops with Timberland boots. You can see some members wearing orange/ice blue hoodys or jogging bottoms and black/white t shirts with gold chains and also flat caps sometimes they'll be wearing long winter jackets with furry hoods. Some members were the puffy coats and white and red tracksuit bottoms. There's also the big fat baldy type that wear coats with white collar and cuffs with leather gloves. They sometimes wear black or white & gold bandannas too. Also they walk with a kind of “swagger” dropping their shoulder a lot. This gang looks exactly like the North Holland Hustlers and you can hear them talking about Holland a lot as if they come from there and they drive the same cars. They can be found around Homebrew café in Beechwood City and they also seem to control Shottler and Willis. Their cars are painted with the Jamaican flag colors (Green, black & gold). They are one and the same gang, there isn't a separate Puerto Rican gang, the Puerto Ricans are the Spanish Lords. They are based on the real life NYC gang "Latin Kings" ive read somewhere. They can often be seen wearing the Puerto Rican flag and colours with the word "Boricua" (Which basically means Puerto Rican i think)written on it. Aswell as this they can be seen wearing yellow & black, they will always wear either of these (so if they arent wearing yellow or black then they'll be wearing the Puerto Rican flag colours and vice versa, sometimes both together).They sometimes wear yellow or puerto rican bandannas, and they sometimes wear gold chains or yellow & black beads around their necks, but these come in different colours. They could be black & blue, black & purple, black & red or just black aswell as black and yellow. However there is one bead chain thats different from the others and its always black & yellow, its different from the others because the "stripes" are smaller. Members often have "Pitchfork" or “Crown” tattoos on their neck/head, which along with the black and yellow beads are symbols of The People & Folk Nations, specifically the People Nation. The People & Folk Nations arent gangs, they are alliances under which gangs are aligned. They come in three main "looks" it seems, theres the little, fat, baldy men with black tops and gold chains (they look a bit like Manny), theres the taller, fatish, dark haired and usually with a big tash who wear puffy coats and puerto rican colours and theres the younger, slim looking ones with yellow or white t-shirts with yellow/blue/red caps on or baseball jackets. They have territory on all of the main islands, which makes them a big and powerful gang in Liberty City. They have a high presence in their territory, you always see high numbers of them when on their turf. Ride around on “Harley like” bikes. Very easy to identify them, as like the Lost, they wear their name and logo on their jackets or T-shirts. They wear motorcycle/hells angels type black leather gear with red cloth, sometimes with helmets on. Usually they're either really fat with a big beard or really skinny with a helmet on there head. Often have many tattoos. They can usually be found hanging around auto repairs shops/scrapyards with loads of rusty cars about the place in both Beechwood City and in BOABO . The angels of Death use a Skull as their logo. They currently have a feud and are rivals with The Lost Brotherhood M.C gang. They control a small out of the way part of Bohan, Little Bay, and they arent even big in that area. They're very hard to find, theres not many on the streets unlike the Russians or Spanish Lords. I dont know if its just me, but they seem to come out a lot more when its dark. The Albanians are not in Hove Beach. They can usually be identified by their green caps with the Albanian eagle crest on it or black wooly hats. They also seem to wear the same black shoes/boots and mostly wear jeans, or blue camo bottoms black leather jackets. Some wear racing jackets similar to the one you get in that mission. They seem to hate the Italians, they're always shouting stuff about them. This is Dwain Forges (or Playboy X) gang and if your good friends with Dwain this is the gang from which he sends two thugs to help you. Aswell as these 5 families theres also the Pegorino family who are not part of the Cosa Nostra, but are still a smaller Mafia outfit in Alderney, who look the same and drive the same cars. The Mafia are a powerful organization in Liberty, but their grip is slipping and other gangs are getting bigger. They wear a number of different things including; Black suites with black tie (Classic Mafia style), light coloured suites, open shirts with rolled up sleeves with vest, tracksuits (fat men), tropical shirts with trousers and open jacket, flatcaps, shades. They speak in an Italian-American accent and can be found around Drusilla's in Little Italy(Cosa Nostra) aswell as around Westdyke (Pegorinos). All look chinese/japanese and sound it too. Members also often have dragon tattoos on the arms. They run the weapon shop in Chinatown and seem to be well armed as a result with lots of them carrying Uzi's. You can easily spot their vehicles as they have a Chinese tassel hanging from the rear-view mirror. They seem to be on friendly terms with them and can often been seen driving with them in the same vehicle or bike and they often talk together. They dont stand out as much because they dont wear particular colours or style. They can be identified mainly by their Korean looking face and black hair with centre parting, tracksuit tops, black trousers with chain hanging from pocket, waistcoat and hoody, red trainers.
