GermanDude's Crappy Mods.
Hoffe ich mal, der erste Skin ist "fertig" (okay, er sieht immer noch nicht fertig aus, aber nunja). Jetzt heißt es eigentlich trial and error bis ich zufrieden bin.

GermanDude's Crappy Mods.
Well, hey. Some of you may know me, some don't. After finding some of my old skins on my harddrive I am trying to publish new skins on here. This little thing here will mostly be used to show what I am trying to make and how far I got right now. Also, I will use this forum topic to start polls if I don't know what to make. Current "projects": - Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Skin Pack (Both lore friendly and Washington style). (Progress: 30 %) (On hold - Will be continued in Summer) - San Diego County, CA Sheriff's Department Skin Pack (Both lore friendly and California style). - German police Skin Pack (Yes, on American cars). - Maine State Police Pack (Progess : 100%) - Massachusetts State Police (Lore Friendly) (Progress : 25 %) - Montana Highway Patrol (Progress : 25 %) - EMS Texture Pack (Progress : 90 %) If anyone has a request or want's to help me, just leave a comment or something.

Anti-Knife Tactics 101
This was a highly unprofessional arrest. Civilians shouldn't be put in danger because the police can't arrest the suspect. Also, the police officers started to use their batons, even though the suspect already dropped the knife and was on the ground. And I don't even want to start talking about the officer who uses a ballistic vest that isn't even closed.

New York State Police Mega Pack [ELS]
I, as the governor of the state of San Andreas, hereby declare that the SAHP will be replaced by units of the NYSP, just because t0y.'s vehicles look way too good to stay in New York.

Damn, so many nice cars in this thread and in your WIP pictures. My question is why you never released them. I mean, you ended working on them in June of last year (atleast I think so).

Well, in Germany almost no one has a firearm. Not even criminals. The worst they have is a knife or crowbar. Also, we have a smaller number of murders commited with firearms. And in the end it is the governments job to protect the people and it is better to prevent things from even happening than locking people up for things that happen.

We in Germany have very strict weapon laws. Weapons have to be registered at your local government. Also, they have to be locked away and the ammunition has to be seperated from the weapon itself (no loaded magazines allowed in weapons). Also, when transported they need to be in a case that is lockable and in your trunk. Also, you can't carry them around in the city and so on. You are only allowed to either hunt with them or use them on certified weapon ranges.

I expressed myself a little bit wrong. I mean, it is really strange to bring a weapon in a church. And I didn't want to seem like I want to make a outrage about guns, but I am personally happy we in Germany have some other weapon laws.

Well, it is kinda strange to bring guns into a church, a place of peace where you pray to god, which wouldn't want weapons that are used for war in a church.

What your Troopers carry
Yes. The patrol officer either carry a S&W Model 67 or S&W Model 10. Crime investigators carry a SigSauer P250 or P225. Also, almost every Asian country still uses revolvers as duty weapons. For example, the Japanese police forces use a "New Nambu M60" revolver in .38 special.

What your Troopers carry
I know, I just, well, didn't say it correctly. It is carried by lower saxony officers and some others.

Is possible to change the name in the officer's uniform?
Okay, first we need to know what model it is (a playermodel or EUP), then we can help.

What your Troopers carry
Well, if people are interested in what German Highway Patrol officer carry, I'll post a photo here. (It is the Heckler & Koch (Yes, that is the company that produces good guns like the HK G36 *cough*) SFP9, chambered in 9mm).

oldest police vehicle currently in service?
This is a picture of my local police station. In Germany all police vehicles are blue and silver (except for the uniformed federal police, they are blue and white). I live in a smaller town, so we only have about 2/3 patrol vehicles. This is one of them. It is a 1998 Volkswagen Passat, so it is 20 years old now (happy birthday, I guess).

Fake police cruiser impounded in Bellevue - w/ lights and siren
Unmarked cars a very useful. Traffic offenders do stuff infront of them because they don't notice them quickly. Also, they are essential for policing. Criminals can be easily observed without having a fleet of special cars for that. Also, just because that happened, we shouldn't ban unmarked police vehicles. In London a person made a real paramedic first response vehicle and got himself uniforms from multiple ambulance services. Just because of that we shouldn't ban first response vehicles.

question to distinguish the georgia state police
The MCCD is the Motor Carrier Compliance Division. The GSP is a part of the DPS. The MCCD is a own agency in the DPS and the state officer working for the MCCD have nothing to do with the state patrol. Also, the DPS is the department that has to keep the state capitol and the area around it safe.

[Request] Michigan State Police Pack
Well, I can only provide some (good) Michigan cars. A pack is hard to make, especially due to the hard to find and model light"bar". There aren't any open models out there (afaik).
