Open IV GTA V Audio Support
Siren tones are already flying out of the woodwork! Here's a link to mine: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7796-whelen-siren-gtav/ I accidentally uploaded the individual files at first haha! Everything is in order now!

Prophet's Whelen 295
- 1,486 downloads
- Version 1.0.0
Download Files are fixed and now in ZIP folder! This is a simple audio modification that swaps out the default police tone's with those from a Whelen 295 siren system. This modification changes the tones for the regular Police vehicles i.e not the FIB Buffalo, Rancher or Bike. I did this on purpose so that the siren does not become the only tones you hear during a pursuit that involves multiple agencies. Video below gives a brief demo of the different tones in action. To install follow this simple tutorial from OpenIV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymLrNTjGBXA- 20 comments

What are your thoughts on the very first version of LSPDFR? What would you like to see in the future?
Why don't you just repair your vehicle or spawn a new one using the RageHook?

MY FEEDBACK
There is already a script out that runs speeds and flags for vehicles. (Just an FYI) : http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7789-speed-radar/

My suggestion for GTA V LSPDFR.
Would be better and smarter to just install the mod to a backup version of GTA V or keep your modded version separate from the unmodded.

Initial thoughts and impressions (0.1 Beta) + Video
Thank you. Yeah so glad they keys are bound to controls. This is something I forgot to mention! It's such a small mechanic but has such a huge impact in arriving to a callout! Should be a simple fix I believe.

Definitely "sets the framework".

Initial thoughts and impressions (0.1 Beta) + Video
Just some of my thoughts on the freshly released LSPDFR Modification in bullet points for your enjoyment. I am also taking in to account this is a beta and my thoughts and impressions are based on that understanding. Love, Love, Love the Backup/Pursuit AI and Menu. If there was a donation box I would be dropping money in there like no other for the work that must have been done in trying to fix and achieve such a beautiful system. Love the police vehicle selection menu although the filter that is used in the menu has a depth of field that tends to blur out the vehicle I am selecting. Might just have been something related to the development team not having depth of field on while working on the garage. (Refer to video in below @1:25) All the callouts are pursuits (Again this is a beta I know this) I am just hoping for some variety in the near future and making a statement. When selecting a characters HEAD if you left click while on that option it will go through various hairstyles and facial hair. Not sure if this is a glitch or intended either way it works. JUST AN FYI TO DEVS. No TASER why? Would like to see the State police Backup respond more in the white unmarked units than the motorcycles for pursuit purposes. (Motorcycles tend to become primary and cannot ram suspects whilst blocking police vehicles that can) Code 2 backup seems to take just a tad bit too long. I understand it's code 2 cmon. (Really just an opinion) I'm sure the Development team are working on creating a system that incorporates the ability to run people through the police computer/ Call in IDs during traffic stops. Would like a Frisking option or some sort or form of being able to communicate/interact with pedestrians. (Even a simple 'keep it moving' thing) Sprinting causes you to eventually kill yourself from exhaustion thus losing a perp. Either make player run faster or remove stamina limit. After a traffic stop suspects tend to back up a couple of feet before driving off. Hoping its an easy fix. GTA V still loads in random police pursuits which aren't really that much of an issue if you could actively participate in them as though they were initiated in LSPDFR themselves. I.E Backup could still assist and target suspect vehicle. (NOT REALLY AN ISSUE JUST AN IDEA) Would love to be able to grab on an guide detained suspects. (Do love the fact that the player will open back door for collars though!) Would love to see a GPS that directs you to callouts. GAME IS TOO FUCKING STABLE It should go without saying how thankful I am for such a dedicated Development team. I honestly wish I could shake the staffs hands! Finally a video from me to you which goes through some of my impressions listed above at 108060fps. ENJOY! EDIT: Minor grammatical errors and some additions to list.

My same exact reaction.

Add Tazer to Default Cop Loadout
Still should be default for a policing script.

LSPDFR 0.1 Released
Too stable.. I tried my best to make it crash... Not even once. Even after spamming the backup key the script screamed "give me something harder!". Moments like these https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNv8I7FTbJU just give me a rush. I can't believe how well the pursuit and back up AI behave.

Driver Parallel Lines Police Glitch
Love it. I am also confused with what you're trying to articulate mca0004. Are you trying to find support for the game "Driver: Parallel Lines"?

We will just have to see what the future holds in terms of what the modding community can do to get around rockstars servers.

Ill-Gotten Gains Update and Modding
That was pretty offensive. What crawled up your ass? "The modding community just needs to get used to barriers" would of sufficed.

What gameplay am I interfering with if I am in a solo session? What am I able to do with these mods that would be considered interfering if I am playing by myself? I am not interfering with the ingame cash, Vehicle mechanics nor am I messing with other players? I would love to shoot them an email if you could provide one for me. Would like them to put this argument to rest already. They don't have a clear statement on what is considered game interfering so we can both speculate on what that means forever. Google Defines Interfering as "(of a person) tending to interfere in other people's affairs" I can speculate that Rockstar means using mods that interfere with other people.

Right I mean it leaves players to their own devices. I definitely agree with you to the extent that modding in general should be kept from GTAO but I also think that until Rockstar releases a broad statement in regards to "Don't use ANY mods online PERIOD" we the players will never know what their TRUE policies of online modification are. I for one think using a trainer on GTAO defeats the purpose of playing online and should be a bannable offense. On the other hand I think that punishments should be focused on players abusing Money,Cars,Statistic or other players. Then again who am I but just a player though. Anyways I will continue to abide by the Forums rules and not try and start a ruckus over all this. Definitely loved the feedback though ineseri.

Online Traffic Stop
Very true. I should also bring up this message from Rockstar support. If cosmetic mods are not bannable then where is the line drawn? Again back to my point about opinion. You're not right and I'm not right. We can only speculate as to what Rockstar deems right and wrong.

Online Traffic Stop
What advantage am I gaining from this specific modification? I do believe Rockstar would see a public session of nonabusive modification and a closed session differently. These mods are not leading to statpadding, vehicle hacking, cash modding or anything that would break/abuse the GTA O economy/statistics/leaderboards. No matter the arguments you make you will never be right nor will I. The only judge in these cases are Rockstar themselves is the point that I am making here. Everything you are arguing is opinion as is everything I'm arguing.
-
Online Traffic Stop
Exactly my point it comes down to opinion there is no clear set in stone list of what is considered what. I can counter argue that since I'm in a solo session or closed session I am not disrupting any open public session which would be frowned upon. You're no more right than I am.

Everyone has their own opinion on this and no one is right or wrong when it comes to modding in GTA O. Until Rockstar explicitly states that ALL forms of modding in GTAO is prohibited there will always be these kinds of mods in the community being abused/used online. I for one am in between how I feel about it in the sense that modding online should be done responsibly. TL;DR modding online comes down to opinions at this point. Since I was playing within the modding policy made and stated by Rockstar I pretty sure using a police mod in a closed session doesn't hurt anyone and is far from frowned upon. "Our primary focus is on protectingGTA Online against modifications that could give players an unfair advantage, disrupt gameplay, or cause griefing. It also bears mentioning that because game mods are by definition unauthorized, they may be broken by technical updates, cause instability, or affect your game in other unforeseen ways.” - Rockstar on the usage of modifications online.

There are such things as closed sessions in GTA O.(The video was shot in one) Although I understand your opinion because I also enjoy playing GTA O unmodded as it is meant to be. When using the mods in the video above though I don't think of it as though I am playing GTA O as much as I see it as role playing law enforcement with friends.
