There are programs that will let your pc run a ps4 controller. I've done it before. Google it. GTA V works better with the Xbox controller tho. I picked up a wired one from Target for $20. As far as LSPDFR is concerned you'll need both for optimized game play. Most plugins required you to press certain keyboard combinations that you cannot do on the controller.

Def a cool idea. You basically spawn as another cop. Even if not responding to your own death but just another cop on duty (doing a traffic stop, pursuit, foot patrol or foot chase). That would be neat and more fun than spawning to the hospital.

I don't think it will happen if you have just the base lspdfr installed. The only callout plugin I have is "Assorted Callouts" by Albo and it happens 50% of the time. The taser, knife, gun or even 3 random "drive-by" peds will pull up and start shooting. I also had a van full of peds pull up and take me out. So it's there, lol.

Or you could make the car pull to a safer spot using mimic. The traffic in GTA V is reckless on purpose and I don't think there is much modders can change in that regard.

The default is LEFT CTRL + Q and then you have to hit the same keys again to stop mimic.

Agreed, I just tried this out and I can't tell the difference between the vanilla meta and this one. The peds act all insane like they did before I had keepcalm installed. I'm going to test it out a bit more but so far "meh".- 29 comments

I too would like to enable only one light bar. When the AI backup spawns the model appears with all three lightbars which looks ridic. Any way to fix this?- 148 comments

I did several highway laps around SA. The civilian vehicles no longer seem to spawn, thanks for the fix. I play with all the default police vehicles. The unmarked Stainer spawns parked along side and cruising the highway. My one last critique is that it spawns only in black occupied by LSPD. Can you make it spawn white, occupied by SAHP instead?- 57 comments

I really like this mod. Only problem (and the one that kills it for me) are the random civilians and civilian vehicles that spawn posted on the side of the highways (exactly like the cops spawn BUT they're not cops, lol). Would definitely be 5/5 if you found a way to correct this issue.

This is a MUST have for realism. As a cop you should be able to target anyone or any vehicle for pursuit/arrest if need be. I find it fun to target any peds who try to run through my scene or cause a ruckus when I'm dealing with a current suspect. They really need to add this to LSPDFR as a default. Nice work! My only grip is having to aim and target peds/vehicles. I wish they could be blipped from inside vehicles or more simply when on foot. This would make things a bit easier especially for those with full free-aim.- 74 comments

Excellent mod. I haven't upgraded or added any siren tones outside of the defaults but just running those with the mod makes the game much more realistic and enjoyable. No longer having to hold down the horn for the second siren sound, while also trying to steer (gamepad) makes this mod a MUST. The only thing I wish was added is the ability to have the tones automatically cycle (like in NFS Rivals), instead of having to manually change them, but 5/5 regardless. Thank you Albo.- 851 comments

He has quite a few mods installed. Traffic Policer, Arrest Manager and LSPDFR+ are the main ones that give you the interaction menus. If you click on his youtube video descriptions he lists all of the mods he currently uses.
