Tom_Fox reacted to ThruZZd in [WIP, REL] BasicParkingEnforcement - New features, Requests, DiscussionCompletely redid the Zone editor!
You now can set an entire zone to for example "No payment required" now and declare smaller zones within that having assigend a different type!
In this example: Rockford Hills is set to "No ticket required". Vehicles in Rockford hills don't need to pay for parking in generl. Within the blue circle placed on the parking meters however, parking meter payment is required and vehicles will pay through meter!
Like that you can theoretically customize the entire map! I will provide a customized Streets.xml with smart zone placement! You can edit this system ingame in real time!

Tom_Fox reacted to ThruZZd in [WIP, REL] BasicParkingEnforcement - New features, Requests, DiscussionSmall WIP update for today, release probably this weekend:
- Parking meters are fully integrated now
- You can decide if a zone should require pay & display, no payment, or parking meter payment now!
- Permits for Los Santos and Blaine County integrated
- Small fixes within the code
- You can now edit probabilities in the ini!
- You can select if you want the new textures or the old display for tickets etc.
TODO:
- Fix some bugs basically

Tom_Fox reacted to ThruZZd in [WIP, REL] BasicParkingEnforcement - New features, Requests, DiscussionHello people!
This is a thread to discuss about, request functions & support and show WIP development for my plugin BasicParkingEnforcement!
Feel free to put anything you have in your mind in the comments!
What is going into the next release?
- Texture based tickets/parking meters/permits (more on that below)
- Way to select if you want the textures or ticket etc. display we have now in the ini
- Being able to set streets as parking meter streets (texture included)
- Adding parking permits in addition to pay&display tickets (randomly ;))
- Ability to set probabilities for expired/no ticket/attack/etc. in the ini
- ...
So to start this off, what do you think of having textures like these instead of the display over the map?:
!!I will remove the "Expires time" on the permit and just leave the date, just wanted to put this out here!
I will update this thread whenever there is something new to show 🙂
Link to the plugin:
Have a great day! 🙂

Tom_Fox reacted to OfficerAlfa1561 in [WIP, REL] BasicParkingEnforcement - New features, Requests, DiscussionWow! Those visible tickets and permits look awesome!
Will it be possible to customize them somewhat? For example, parking in Paleto Bay where evidently the permits and tickets wouldn't have the LS City logo or such, etc!
Stellar work!
Below are some images of LA Parking Passes and such in case they help!

Tom_Fox reacted to Jeffdadawg in LSPDFR and play FiveM?It is a lot of space. 3 folders: 1 vanilla, 1 LSPDFR singleplayer and 1 fiveM can add up to 270 GB or higher.

Tom_Fox reacted to BlueLine Vibes in LSPDFR will continue to operate as normal? If you have played LSPDFR before the GTA 5 update, just revert your game to the previous version. Works fine.

Tom_Fox reacted to turbofandude in VocalDispatch APIThat's actually an awesome idea - some sort of status check, and if you don't answer, it'll send backup. Hmm. I like it. I wanted to implement an "interaction" system so that there's more than just a one-off statement (i.e. you conduct a traffic stop and dispatch asks if you need an additional, etc.). Sometime in the future, perhaps.

Tom_Fox reacted to Markadaliah in VocalDispatch APIMessage I just sent to sc @scottheboy creator of the latest callout package code 3 callouts. Hey man, just a suggestion. When I play I listen to my local police scanner and it makes things more immersive. They always check officer's status, saying "(unit number) status?" and the officer responds "code 4". Otherwise that officer may be down so that's why they check, you may know this. Could you simply place a callout in that has you reply yes or no if you are okay? If you don't respond within a few seconds it could prompt you again and ask for you to say 10-4. And if you could make it work with vocal dispatch that would be awesome. So we can customize the unit number, and when we say 10-4, vocal dispatch will tell your mod to accept the response. It will make your mods blow up.

Tom_Fox reacted to Chodenji in LSPDFR 0.4.7 - Now Available!Sure, LSPDFR is "playable" without STP or Ultimate Backup, but you lose the functionality and features that they offer. After using these mods, LSPDFR feels rather bland playing vanilla.
-
Tom_Fox reacted to Jay-107 in LSPDFR 0.4.7 - Now Available!People need to calm the hell down. It's not their problem if STP and Ultimate Backup don't work with 0.4.7. Also, LSPDFR is still playable without those mods installed using other plugins so chill out and stop behaving like spoiled children.
-
Tom_Fox reacted to LMS in LSPDFR 0.4.7 - Now Available! We will definitely make it an option and not change any existing behavior if we end up implementing it, so be assured you can still take care of your "pals".
Areas do have a crime status behind the scenes which also takes things such as time into account. Were you looking to override these?
I don't think there is a viable case here, it would only encourage people to continue with their behavior of blocking newer versions. It's frustrating and I get that, but I'd recommend to push for a change in plugins that do have these blocks instead of us supporting that behavior.

Tom_Fox reacted to fire2903rescue in LSPDFR 0.4.7 - Now Available!Agreed. That's why you backup your best running version and revert til everything is updated...we've only been teaching that since.....EVER lol
-
Tom_Fox reacted to Will in LSPDFR 0.4.7 - Now Available!Rockstar's major (mod-breaking) updates are released generally in July and December, so not sure why you think they are releasing one soon.
The developer of those plugins has decided (for whatever reason) to add code that completely disables them under a bunch of different conditions, one of which is if you don't have the version of LSPDFR he developed them for installed. There is no reason for this as minor updates like this one do not affect plugins, but there is nothing the LSPDFR devs can do about it and they are not going to stop releasing updates because of one stubborn plugin developer.
-
Tom_Fox reacted to The Loot in LSPDFR 0.4.7 - Now Available! If those plugins disable themselves with a version check instead of actual incompatibility, that's not the LSPDFR team's issue.

Tom_Fox reacted to Sam in Announcing Mod-RDR.comSure, why not?! I think it'd be pretty awesome playing as a lawman in the West.
-
Tom_Fox reacted to LMS in Announcing Mod-RDR.comThere is no definite answer as we do not yet know what can be done for RDR2 and how popular it will be, but I don't see us abandoning V anytime soon.

Tom_Fox reacted to BlueLine Vibes in Ragepluginhook errorBetter to just wait on Script Hook V update. No need to try a work around. Wait patiently.

Tom_Fox reacted to PwnedByXDirect in Insufficient permissions or bad anti virusI had the same issue I downloaded the LSPDFR manual install and followed all the instructions. I disabled my Webroot antivirus including the firewall and allowed the Ragehook and GTA V as accepted apps. I restarted my computer and ran ragehook normal, then as an administrator. Nothing is working so far. These are the errors im getting:
Any help would be great because I really want to play this game!

Tom_Fox reacted to Sam in Diamond Casino Update - More InfoWe have now released LSPDFR 0.4.3, which adds support for the latest game version!

Tom_Fox reacted to Cyan in Diamond Casino Update - More InfoThis is a discussion thread about LSPDFR though and the user was directly asking about LSPDFR in particular -- please do not perpetuate the confusion that LSPDFR needs Scripthook V.
As soon as it's ready, we'll make sure to say here and on our social media feeds.

Tom_Fox reacted to Reddington in Diamond Casino Update - More InfoSince I always keep my game reverted, I end up being several versions behind in GTA (it's to the point where I'm still on LSPDFR 0.3), I don't follow or like Rockstar updates, nor do I give a shit about any of them. However, after watching some videos, this update is actually pretty sick. I really wish this would've been for singleplayer as well - just imagine the kind of RP we can do at the casino.
-
Tom_Fox reacted to Sam in Diamond Casino Update - More InfoAs you'll be aware by now, Rockstar Games has released a new update for GTA V called "The Diamond Casino & Resort DLC", which adds a bunch of new casino-themed content to GTA Online, as well as other miscellaneous fixes both for GTA Online and for GTA V.
This is nothing new, and over the past five years we have regularly seen such updates on a six-monthly basis. Whenever an update like this is released, almost all scripts and plugins (and the stuff that makes them work behind the scenes) needs to also be updated to be compatible with the new game version. With the way that modding for GTA V works, this is unavoidable.
I thought it would be useful to provide an official update from us regarding this, and have also listed below some frequently asked questions.
Please do not create new topics or ask for support regarding the incompatible game version.
When will updated versions of RAGEPluginHook and ScriptHook V be available?
Typically the RAGEPluginHook (RPH) - the thing that makes LSPDFR work - is updated within a couple of days. ScriptHook V (SHV), which is similar, but powers a lot of other script mods, is typically updated within a week or so.
Note that updating software like RPH and SHV to make it compatible with a new game version is not a trivial task - it isn't like there's a few buttons to click and it's done. It actually takes a lot of effort because so many things within the game can change with a new update.
How can I play LSPDFR just now?
If your copy of GTA V has not updated to the latest version (1734), you will not notice any changes and can continue to play normally. If you have updated (usually this is automatic), you will need to either wait for the RAGEPluginHook and LSPDFR to be updated, or you will need to revert to an earlier version of GTA V (1604).
How do I revert to an earlier version?
When you first played LSPDFR with the RAGEPluginHook, the RPH launcher will have asked you if you wished to make a backup of your game files. If you did this, you should be able to launch the RAGEPluginHook like normal and follow the steps to revert to the backup it created.
If you did not choose to create a backup with the RAGEPluginHook, you will have to do this manually. We cannot help you with this, nor can we (or anyone else on this website) provide any files from previous game versions as they are copyrighted.
Will this update add anything to LSPDFR?
No, this is an update primarily for GTA Online - which is Rockstar's official multiplayer service for GTA V. However, these updates also routinely include fixes or minor additions to the singleplayer game too, such as fixes to bugs during story missions and even new radio stations.
Some of the content included in this update may be made available in singleplayer at a later date by other mods, or potentially within LSPDFR.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss the update in general, please use this topic to do so.
If anyone has useful information that they'd like to share (videos on how to downgrade, etc.), please also post below and I will add it to the topic.

Tom_Fox reacted to PNWParksFan in [REL] Real Police Tape ModJust added the main things needed before public release! The update is available to my early access beta testers now. I plan to release it publicly later this month, after the beta testers get a chance to check out the new update and make sure it doesn't have any bugs.
Added a menu to manage the tape (delete nearest/most recently placed/all/specific tape) Added a developer API (compatible with LSPDFR and non-LSPDFR RPH plugins)
