LSPDFR and play FiveM?

Featured Replies

So I have been on LSPDFR and Fivem in the past but I am just on FiveM right now, I know you cant play FiveM with lspdfr installed in your gtav directory but I was thinking what if you installed it in a mods folder? Would that make you be able to play both without having to install/remove lspdfr? Or will lspdfr not work?

I believe you can still play with both installed, but it is highly recommended you use different directories for each. The best possible solution is that you have three separate directories for each game (FiveM, LSPDFR/Mods, Vanilla). If you currently have a Vanilla copy of GTA 5, I would just make a duplicate and use that for LSPDFR, while you keep the Vanilla copy and use the other for FiveM. To explain more, you should have three copies:

Grand Theft Auto V
Grand Theft Auto V - Vanilla
Grand Theft Auto V - LSPDFR

Whichever one is named Grand Theft Auto V is the currently active one. You just need to change the name to Grand Theft Auto V to make it the folder you want to run. All the others should have a name as reflected above.

Hope This Helps! 🙂

Thank you for responding, Im going to try it out and if it dosnt work I will just make directories, the reason im asking this in the first place is because my pc storage but im working on getting a new drive I just need something temporary. I just thought it wouldn't because FiveM might require clean install, Thanks again.

No problem! It is highly recommended to give it its own directory because then you won't have any potential conflicts with other mods you have installed. FiveM also recommends this.

Worked thank you!

Alot of FiveM servers use the Steam based GTA 5, and because of this I pay LSPDFR using a regular windows digital download for PC from GameStop... This way I can mod my LSPDFR  all I want without it messing with my Steam/FiveM role play.

Enough to where you can have at least 3 copies of GTA 5.

It is a lot of space. 3 folders: 1 vanilla, 1 LSPDFR singleplayer and 1 fiveM can add up to 270 GB or higher.
