It's ok, delete dsound.dll then reinstall LCPDFR. when you get to the screen with the checklist on, untick dsound.dll and then tick xlive.dll....

Ok then, try deleting the dsound.dll and then restore the xlive.dll from your recycle bin.

It could be a corrupt gamesave, did you save whilst on duty?

You could always edit the first post you created in that topic which afaik allows you to also edit the topics title. Go into your GTA directory and look for either of the following files: dsound.dll xlive.dll Tell me if there is none, one or both of those present in the root directory.

I'm sorry but i don't have the link anymore.. I think i got them from the police pack created by "rextex128" on youtube. try looking on his channel. also try "britishpolicemods" as well. I know a LCPDFR member is in the middle of making a british uniform pack, though I can't for the life of me remember who it is.

You already have both the ASI Loader and the .NET scripthook as they are required to even start LCPDFR. You shouldn't mod "Police", "Police2" or "Polpatriot" because that is the main cause of crashes when calling for backup. Try restoring the original Vehicles.img and see if you can call for NOOSE then. Its probably because you have polpatriot modded and the noose come in that.

If you are able to play LCPDFR fine, apart from the obv crashes you have the asi loader and .net scripthook. Have you got the noose vehicles slots modded? If so try restoring the original models and it should hopefully fix it. Regards, Tom

I have all my cops in UK police uniforms and I use UK police cars so it fits in OK with mine though with the default skins, the one you posted would look better.

lol, what are you on about? It's not a support question as it isn't related to LCPDFR. No it's hasn't got anything to do with cheats afaik. You can mod it so it is a telescopic baton here: http://gtapolicemods...?do=file&id=550

When you install over the top of an old install it will only overwrite old files not delete and then recopy. This means that if you select xlive.dll, the old dsound.dll will not be deleted automatically. delete dsound.dll first and then reinstall but select xlive.dll instead.

Are you running the game as an administrator? How long after you begin to play does it crash? Xlive.dll - When you install LCPDFR, you will be presented with a list of items with checkboxes next to them. one will say dsound.dll and another Xlive.dll. Select one or the other, do not select both. Also using xlive.dll will remove your multiplayer so you will be unable to play online...

Oh yeah, lol. Just ran it for my PC and it says i have 4GB of ram for my GPU when I only have 1 lol

You sure it wasn't your system RAM? If you have 4GB of system RAM then it would show as 3.75GB
