  1. Very nice, my setup is nearly identical. i5-4670K, 8GB DDR3, GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB, same HDD. Can get over 70fps @1080p with max settings and Savior ENB.
  2. Hmmm, an orange roof sounds interesting. I'll give it a try and if it works out, I'll include an alternate pack that has orange roofs.
  3. Thanks =) I still have a thing for old-school halogen rotators. Love them. The lightbars on the car are Whelen Delta hybrid halogen/LED lightbars, created by Lt.Caine. The car is made by Lt.Caine:
  4. I second some of the people here in saying to give up the SSD, and step up to the Core i5 4670K. Sure, SSD reduces load times, but that's it. The 4670K is overclockable, so it's somewhat future-resistant, it's quad-core, and it has much more cache.
  5. Hey again. Making good progress. Almost ready for release. Here are a few pics of alternate unit numbers in high-res: Also, here's an image of a bonus skin for a fictional FIA Fire & Rescue supervisor/chief's vehicle, in the same overall "theme," that I'm including: Pre-release preview of all skins I will have in the initial pack: Thanks again for all the feedback. This is fun =D
  6. Thanks everyone =) I plan on polishing it up tonight or tomorrow, adding more unit numbers and color versions so that people can add them to livery models, then releasing it as a pack for the CVPI. Then I'll get to work on other skins for other models. I plan on Taurus Police Interceptor, and Interceptor Utility next. Maybe the Landstalker haha, but more likely Tahoe/Suburban.
  7. Thanks =) And yes, it's different because I've been looking for a long time for an Ops vehicle, but never found one, so I decided to just create one myself. =)
  8. Thanks =D Here's a couple more pics, showing other views:
  9. Hey guys. I've been a fan and an appreciator of LCPDFR for a long time, and I'm grateful for the community. I have a fascination for Airports, and always wanted an Airport Operations vehicle model/skin to be created, but since I haven't yet found one (not that they don't exist, of course), I decided to try my hand at creating it myself. So, here it is! It's still a work-in-progress but it's pretty much 99% done. It is currently a Ford CVPI skin, but I plan on making skins with the same "theme" for Chargers, Tahoes, Tauruses, including some of the airport-specific vehicles, if it's possible, like the tug trucks. Let me know what you think =) Ignore the red/blue environmental effects; I forgot to change the ELS settings after I converted the lights to all-amber. =( Thanks! --sixium // Edit: Credit for the model goes to the great Lt.Caine, lights converted to amber by me :) // Edit again: Forgot to mention, this is my first ever skin/mod :) //EDIT3: CVPI skin pack RELEASED. 10. If it was EXTREMELY in-depth, then no. Too much paperwork
  11. Which model CVPI is that?
  12. It's kind of like calling the CVPI a P71.
  13. I don't know about North Carolina's Highway Patrol, but here in California, in real life, a "run-of-the-mill" CHP officer does not constantly receive calls. Most of their time is spent patrolling the area they're assigned, looking for speeders, drunk drivers, toll road/carpool violators, and road hazards. Setting up and operating speed traps and traffic breaks if needed. The most common call a CHP officer gets is MVA or vehicle assistance calls, and when they do, most of their time after that is spent waiting for wreckers or investigating the causes. I have always dreamed about a Highway Patrol-type game where you play a highway patrol officer. You get assigned a specific highway, you get all the equipment they have including in-vehicle and portable radar/lidar, the ability to set up speed traps, call in specific pursuit techniques such as PIT or rolling roadblock, investigate accidents, close off ramps, and not to mention, handing out tickets and making DUI arrests. Think of it as a tamer and much more in-depth Need for Speed Hot Pursuit lol. Maybe one day, we will get such a game, although I don't think there's enough of a market.
  14. Okay, cool. Thanks for the info. Does this affect LCPDFR negatively, at all? Like, if I accumulate too much of these warnings, will that affect gameplay?
  15. This isn't necessarily a problem, and LCPDFR runs fine for me. However, when I go into the console (with the "~" key) and when I view LCPDFR.log, I see hundreds of the following Warning: [WARNING - 4:32:38 PM] [TaskBeingBusted] Process: HasVehicle is true but vehicle doesn't exist They generate in chunks of hundreds, if not thousands, at a time, all within about a minute's time frame. I've attached the relevant logs. I've reverted back to vanilla Vehicles.img but it still generates. GTA4 1.0.7.0 & EFLC 1.1.2.0 LCPDFR 1.0a Manual Install ELS V6 Custom Peds I reiterate, LCPDFR runs fine for me (aside from the occasional crash, but that's been happening since LCPDFR 0.95RC2). I'm just concerned about what that Warning entails. Thank you for your support.
  16. I use the Xbox 360 controller and tried every button combo to try to call things in. I just resort to using the keyboard key combo ALT+E to call it in.
