  1. I'm not following what exactly the problem is. Are the lights just dim? Your topic has been moved to GTA V Support, this is not LSPDFR related. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  2. Redistributing original game files is against our guidelines and Rockstar's terms. Assuming you used a mods folder, you can grab the file from the vanilla update. If you didn't use a mods folder, you will need to verify integrity of game cache. In the future, it is strongly recommended you use a mods folder. http://openiv.com/?p=1132 If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  3. Redistributing game files such as vehicles.meta is against our guidelines and Rockstar's terms. If you need the vanilla vehicles.meta, grab it from the vanilla update folder or verify integrity of game cache. These are the handling IDs I use and they work flawlessly. 4. No, he meant the person who made this thread. OP = original poster, which is another name for thread starter.
  5. Handcuff sound was already suggested in this thread - In the future, please do not bump threads that are over a year old. If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  6. Sorry to say, Jed said no to this when someone asked in his Discord.
  7. Please don't create multiple threads for the same pack. Stick to this one - If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  8. Yes, you install his cars the exact same way. The only thing you will need to do is modify the carvariation lines for his cars so they use the new carcols Jed provides. His carcols won't change anything that was there, he just added a new sirensetting is all.
  9. The carcols essentially install the same way a vehicle does. Navigate to the location you mentioned above, and drag and drop the carcols Jed provides. I've used that pack before and it's pretty sweet.

  12. Ignorance isn't judgement, more a lack of knowledge/information. It's not the same as "Look at that homeless person. How pathetic." He wasn't judging them, merely saying/assuming they didn't have the same knowledge of the situation due to lack of particular experience. He's not wrong, either. This world, regardless of country, is filled with people who give their opinion despite not knowing shit about what they are talking about. His main point was that people get so outraged and vocal about anything, then when asked to go in depth about their opinion or try to properly debate it, they either have nothing to say, or spew absolute nonsense.
With almost all of the packs I've used, I eventually switch out textures because they grow old for me and I want something more unique. This is a pack where I will always be happy with the textures and keep them on. I still can't get over them, they are GAWGEOUS! The lighting package is also bad ass, especially the TAs. Hello new favorite LSPD pack!
  13. Check this post out, it'll solve that. :) Since this is from September, I'm going to close. If you need further help, please make a topic. :) If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.

Hold on a second, don't do what he advises just yet. You said headlights and taillights, so those are the only ones with a problem? All other lights are fine?
  15. I'm a little confuse, because you never clarified. Are you installing replacement vehicles, like to replace POLICE, POLICE2, etc? or standalone?
  16. What people seem to think is that police officers are robots who do the job they are programmed for without faults. Lets remember something, cops are human beings like you and I. They have emotions, they have their own thoughts, and yes, they are subjectable to making errors. A lot of people seem to think once you put on the badge you're a special person who can't break the law. Which is why so many people lose their shit when a cop does break the law they are sworn to uphold. It's so easy for people sitting in the comfort of their home to criticize cops for their actions, but when it comes down to it, you weren't there and you never will be. Just because you can speak your opinion on a matter doesn't mean you always should, especially in cases of police officers. Almost everyone who has a fiery opinion about them, good or bad, has never been in a situation that officers have to be in every single day. There are bad apples who become cops, no one is denying that, but to say all cops are bad people? I'd also like to point out, the job can change someone drastically and make them jaded. A good, kind hearted person can easily become an angry, bitter person in a matter of months once they are a full fledged officer and riding the streets. This job is not for everyone, which is the problem. You aren't born a police officer. You aren't born with the knowledge of what you'll see on the job, nor are you born with a stomach that can contain the gritty bullshit you'll see. Cops do make mistakes, and that is because they are human beings. Lets remember that the person does not mold law enforcement in general in a good or bad way, it's the job that molds you. You either become a strong individual who can do the job, can't handle it and quit, or you stay on the job and become an angry, bitter son of a bitch whose finger is always ready on the trigger. This wasn't needed, and lets not go down that road. There will be nothing like what we have seen in recent threads.
  17. No, you're spot on. As much as people want the full real life experience in GTA, it's not going to happen. I honestly don't even think having a top quality PC will prevent this from happening. Most real life models (civilian cars) are high poly and will ruin your shit in minutes. However, in this specific case, the models have shitty LODs, so from afar they aren't loaded. His solution is to go into the vehicles.meta and change the LODdistance to 500 for all, however, this will only further cause problems as before mentioned. Changing the LODs in the meta means these vehicles be loaded in fully as they spawn in. Citybuild, I get what you're wanting to do, but it's not going to work. I'd stick with vanilla civilian vehicles, or just change one or two.
