Take back Los Santos from C.R.A.S.H. and follow that train, because this mod takes policing back to GTA San Andreas! Included are retextures for 11john11's Merit Classic and 1991 Premier, and now, Zenn Ten's IV Maverick, based upon the original GTA San Andreas police liveries, all as accurate and bland as they can go. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them. Hell, I will approve of anyone making any recreations of GTA SA scenes using these cars - now you can complete that opening scene with relative accuracy! Again any suggestions for lore-friendly early-90s cars would be kindly appreciated. The models you will need are located here: Zenn Ten's Mapped IV Maverick (install in polmav) Basic installing instructions for retextures apply. Although it is recommended to use the model files included for the LVPD car to prevent awkward trim cutting off the livery. This pack will be eventually expanded to include more retro-style lore-friendly vehicles in the near future. When something to make the HPV, Ranger, Enforcer, and other SA police vehicles come in, then you'll see this pack get more and more updated. Please do not redistribute without my permission. Well, all I'm saying is that Calibri is pretty much the Comic Sans of LCPDFR, and it gives of a rushed, poorly-designed vibe. Maybe tell him to try fonts such as Franklin Gothic, Gill Sans, or if he has money/'sources', Helvetica?- 11 comments

The nightlife in West Vinewood in '92 can prove a little troublesome, especially with recent tensions in the San Andreas 'gangsta rap' scene. With talk of Madd Dogg on the prowl on Vinewood and Eclipse Boulevard, looking for a venue to make an unannounced performance, the LSPD are making a show of force, checking on the smokers, hustlers, and drunkards of the Vinewood nights.© Hullian111

A couple of nights every month, the high-rolling millionaire car enthusiasts of Liberty City all meet in an underground street racing club just off of Union Drive. Calling themselves 'The Midnight Club', they defy the slow RMPs of the LCPD, and beat the midnight city traffic to race each other and set time records. Having existed all the way from the early eighties, multiple members were arrested over the years, and the club finally shuttered in 2002 due to constant traffic disruption, and post-9/11 security fears.© Hullian111

Yeah...you might be right on that. I'm trying to edge my way into GTA V, and I haven't uploaded something in a while. Will change. EDIT: And the sticker? I didn't see that coming the first time - it's right there in the description. I'm trying to figure that one out. EDIT 2: Sticker has been replaced! Hey, I'm doing GTA V now! As a member of the VanillaWorks Discord's 2D artists team, I've gained an inspiration to make 1992-based mods. So expect a few more V mods, but I promise I won't forget about the IV scene, I'm not like that. Anyway, onto the mod! Wanna take North Yankton back to the 90s? Now's your chance to enforce the law...90s style! Included are retextures for 11john11's Merit Classic and 1991 Premier, based upon the North Yankton State Patrol, which, in turn, is based on the North Dakota State Patrol, and of note for the Merit Classic, you will have the variation of either the 'modern' or 'retro' style livery, all with numbers on the boot/trunk. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them. Sure, my choices are limited for V - for one, I could be doing British, but I've decided to install my game's cars to a 1992 settings, and my second excuse is that the VanillaWorks team seems to be doing a lot of the work for me. I mean, I can't complain, really, but any suggestions for lore-friendly early-90s cars would be kindly appreciated. The models you will need are located here: Basic installing instructions for retextures apply. A quick note - these will NOT spawn in North Yankton unless you configure mods to add traffic to the North Yankton map. And even still, you will have to reassign the police cars, somehow. Don't ask me about that. This pack will be eventually expanded to include more retro-style lore-friendly vehicles in the near future. Reports of a major shootout at the Ludendorff cemetery came in one night in 1992, but even 1951's troopers of the year could not get there fast enough before the damage truly was done. Maybe they didn't want to bring back bad memories of 1983, or maybe they just couldn't get through the unseasonal snow. Regardless, there were very few arrests. Yes, the retro NYSP pack is in the works! I've just got to sort out the other Merit livery, then I'll screenshot it, and get it out there. Here's a frontal:© Hullian111

Vespucci Beach - populated by idiots, some claim. But regardless, the lifeguards get paid well for every swimmer that they save. And living in a city where hardly anyone can swim, it's a race against time to save lives and get the paycheck. I'm thinking of heading on back to GTA IV for a little while. Just need to let some mods start coming along, and also, I kinda miss the modability.© Hullian111

It's pretty much the middle of the night, and one very tired driver of a sliver Merit lost control on the highway back to Paleto Bay, and flew straight into Lago Zancudo. His vehicle, obviously, was destroyed, the roof of it barely visible above the water. And due to the force of the impact, the driver was seriously injured and put into a coma, but thankfully, he came to his senses... in 1995.© Hullian111

Before RON Alternates moved in, Palmer-Taylor Power Station was Los Santos County's biggest supplier of electricity, and also, the county's biggest producer of pollution, before being locked into a pollution war with the Chinese in the 2010s. Workers, although putting their health in great risk due to the condition, toil through the night to keep the city's lights on, and go home in the day to their struggling wives and families. Man, my reflections are nasty - maybe I need to bump them up a little.© Hullian111

Yeah, we're going old-school PS2-style LSPD now - I've got SFPD and LVPD liveries cooking up, too. Just need to sort out the Premier, and we're set. Ooh, you know what would be nice? Chariot of the Grove Street Families - and their splinter groups, too - the 1986 Schyster Greenwood is claimed to be twice as likely to be stopped by the LSPD than any other car in Los Santos. I've got screenshotting stuff, now! Expect more while I replace more vehicles.© Hullian111
