pjrthefox got a reaction from coastiestevie in Random officers approaching youI've modded so many game files, it could literally be anywhere. I'm at the point now where I just want to play the game.
I could probably pinpoint it, but I'm getting lazy
Safer Chases perhaps?

pjrthefox reacted to PNWParksFan in [WIP, REL] Better EMSQuick update: still working on this mod, it's gradually coming together. Most recently have been working on the AI to coordinate keeping track of all the injured peds and the responders treating them. Also making some improvements to the driving AI to prevent the issue of units driving up to the scene at top speed, then slamming on the brakes and sliding into everything. Now they'll slow down when they get close and drive carefully up to the scene.
I've also pulled all the scanner audio needed to report the different types of injuries, and to say what type of unit is responding and from where. It'll even let you configure custom audio for each vehicle you specify, so if a fire truck comes it'll say "fire truck is en route code 3", but if a lifeguard is the first responder it'll say " life guard is responding" instead.

pjrthefox got a reaction from LtRob in Problem with blurred buildings/streetsIf you think it actually cures the problem by removing the mods folder, maybe you should think about starting from scratch with a new mods folder. It could be that there was a conflicting file from either graphic mod and it affected the draw distance and lodscale. There are different ways to achieve draw distance and maybe these were messing your game up somehow.
I would start with all your car mods and get it to where you had it, minus the graphics mod. Make a backup and then put in the graphic mod. At least if it goes loopy again, you won't have to waste time starting from scratch again.

pjrthefox got a reaction from lovelspd in Rage Hook plugin telling me game is corruptI think if there was no mods folder in place, verifying the game cache will be the only way to clear this error, unless the car was not installed correctly that is and reapplying could be the answer.
I've only answered because this thread seems awfully gracious.
I am absolutely spiffing, thank you very much.

pjrthefox reacted to Hystery in Trouble Installing textures manuallyNo, those cars are not the default cars. Those cars are modified default cars, that are templated. If you want to install those skins, YOU'LL HAVE TO INSTALL THE CARS TOO.
The sooner you'll get this into your head, the sooner you'll be able to play with the skins you want.

pjrthefox got a reaction from Albo1125 in [REL][WIP] British Policing Script (New Traffic Stops, Persona, Vehicle Records & Court System)I love the idea of getting updates on your victims, oops.. law breakers.
To know they got what they deserved in the courts gives my meaningless life as a police officer some purpose.
Looking forward to the release.

pjrthefox reacted to Hystery in Police3 brokenNo. No, you didn't. If you did, the car would work. So no, you didn't. Install everything correctly, and it'll work.

pjrthefox got a reaction from Hystery in OIV Model Help@Tapp
I am slightly confused by what you are saying in this thread.
Earlier you state this
Which is clearly not the path for a mods folder.
And then you state this
Which is why you are now getting the start failure error.
A mods folder overrides and ignores the original game files (which in your case seem to be messed up). Now you have removed your mods folder, GTA V is reading the original game files and cannot load them correctly, because they may have been tampered with incorrectly.
Is this a fair assessment of what has happened?

Wrong crash report unfortunately. We need the RagePluginHook.log file.
Can you upload a screenshot of your plugins folder and your plugins>LSPDFR folder
I think I know what has happened, but I need to see the contents of those two folders.

I think he is all sorted. I sent him a pm of my failsafe for installing lspdfr and RPH and he tells me it's working for now at least.
I've just told him he should clean up his main directory, so he may check this post out and delete some of the files we mentioned.
