Yes they are... according to the Readme RDE generates a custom spawn list to use with Simple Trainer

We all know that spawning SWAT officers through a trainer is horrendous - they all disappear every 30 seconds. I'd be much appreciative of anyone who can make a functional SWAT mod where the guys actually stay with you. Or if @Darkmyre could update Police Partner for multiple partners that would also be awesome. Thanks.

no I mean I took someone else's car made for (insert slot) and just edited the files so that it is now an addon

@Bxbugs123 I wanted this to be an addon so I changed all the files and .metas to '14charger' and it spawns without lights and a horn... The skins and the model itself are fully functional, it just has no lights, horn, or sirens.- 265 comments

I installed RDE, and now Simple Trainer doesn't work. I've tried reinstalling both mods, but to no avail.

I have made addons in the past by editing their .meta files and changing names, but how to I make a full .meta for cars that did not come with any to edit so that I can make it an addon?

@PNWParksFan I installed RDE, but it appears to have rewritten the Custom Backup xml. I saved the one I previously had, but the RDE one seems to have a completely different structure. Can I add my old edits to the RDE version or do I have to rewrite them to follow the RDE format?- 378 comments

I do remember a skin pack (I believe by Brad or somebody along those lines) where you could change the base colors of the skins, how is that pack different from others?
