I couldn't agree more, this is starting to really get on my nerves, this community is SO much more mature than this, can we really not have a simple discussion without some one getting pissed off at some ones statements? Really? It's time to grow up now, we've received a large influx of new people here on the forums, put simply, we will not tolerate pissy attitudes/flame wars starting just because some one feels the need to "Get something off their chest", follow the golden rule here, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it, I'm starting to get sick and tired of seeing good topics get closed because immature kids think its "Fun" to rag on some ones opinion, everyone, this is a loud and clear statement for not only this thread, the random section, or any other specifics on this site, this goes for the entire member base who like to cause trouble, knock it off... Please note, I'm all for debate/discussion, but when users start insulting each other, that's a big no no...

This has already been mentioned not only by another user on the thread, but as well as it would mention it in the Trouble Shooter when creating a thread (btw, he needs to run the INSTALLER as admin, not the game, he cannot get it installed, yes he needs to run the game as admin as well, but to get it installed first, he must run the installer as admin) there's no need to keep repeating it since it has already been stated Ekalb, it will just clutter the thread. (But it's appreciated that your at least trying to help). Run the INSTALLER as Administrator as well, if you get any other errors (And if you already have made sure your directories are not read only) post the error message here.

Ok, let me clarify it a bit for this guy since I think either A. He's super confused about the mod, or B. Just wants a cracked copy of the game.... LCPDFR is a GTA IV (That is a game) Modification for the PC platform, in order to play this modification, you must purchase GTA IV from a store, such as your local game store (CD Disc) or, on a downloadable purchasing site such as steam (Download), downloading torrented/pirated version of the game is frowned upon here and is not supported by the modification, the modification is FREE, the game though, is not, you must purchase the game, if you do not have the game, you cannot play the modification, end of story.

I think it's because I already have that xliveless thing, could you please help me remove them both? If you already have xliveless on your game, just navigate to your games directory and delete "xliveless.dll", also, make sure you are running the game as administrator.

This belongs in LCPDFR Support, not GTA IV support, I'll only move this once, if you have any other issues from now on with the mod, please only create a topic in the other support section, moving thread. SIDE NOTE: Make sure you are running the installer as Admin and that your directories are not "read only".

Agreed, but its always to just not start something rather than ruin an entire country and loose lives just to rub out an annoyance, here is to hoping they knock it off soon I know, its just that after how bad that other thread turned, it seems a little soon to start speaking of politics on the site since it seems some users cannot handle them selves when the topic comes up, any who, as I stated, I wont/other mods wont close until a flame war irrupts.

Marine831, I don't seem to understand why you felt the need to create another topic pertaining to Politics when clearly we just had a great issue on another thread of users flaming back and fourth, in a way, you seem to want to want to "air" out your opinions, rather than leave the politics off this site, I'll be leaving this thread open for now, but at the very site of a Flame War, It will be closed, I will not stand for Flame Wars continuing on the site.
