  1. Patrolling the city highways in the lovely VF Commodore at night:
  2. From bright yellow uniforms to bright yellow police cars... it seems the worst cop in GTA Britain is this Aussie import:
Another great mod to make the game feel more Aussie, thanks!
  3. Patrol toolkit has a feature allowing you to check the records of the ped you're standing closest to. It also expands the amount of info you get about a ped:
  4. GTA Comes Alive has a mass brawl ambient event
  5. For something a bit different, today I hit the beach for a bicycle patrol!
  6. We can't let the kiwis have the best unmarked VF!
  7. I'd still really really really really really love to see an NT Paddy Wagon, would pretty much just need the pod taken off Mac's paddy wagon, and replaced with a basic cage with blue tarp on the side. They look ghetto AF and absolutely perfect for Sandy Redfe...err.. Shores. Though the one thing I think the Aussie community is still sorely lacking in is unmarked vehicles. I think public-released we're still restricted to just the VE (not that there's anything wrong with the VE ofc), would be great to get an unmarked ford, I've also had a whole bunch of requests to do patrols in unmarked Landcruisers/Hiluxes/similar class vehicles.
  8. Trevor Phillips caught yet again!
  9. We would, but maouri's look fuckin scary so we let the all blacks win so nobody gets eaten :P
  10. BATTLESPACE : SAN ANDREAS Battlespace is a term used to signify a unified military strategy to integrate and combine armed forces for the military theatre of operations, including air, information, land, sea, and space to achieve military goals. Inspired by the amazingly detailed military models by SkylineGTRFreak, this plugin will bring military combat to GTA for (as far as I know) the first time. Players will be able to choose between a range of missions, each using either land or air vehicles to achieve a series of military objectives, in order to defeat a rogue element of Merryweather believed to be working with the Chinese. The plugin is currently still in development, and I'm aiming to have a beta version available around mid September. The initial release will be focused on building the mechanics as robustly as possible, with a small set of missions that will be supplemented through post-release updates. Planned Features Air Missions: A variety of mission typess including offensive/defensive dogfights, bombing runs, aerial surveillance, target extraction and escorts Ground Missions: a variety of mission types including convoy escorts/attacks, ground combat, strategic raids, covert eliminations and of course tanks! Sea-based air missions, using the Aircraft Carrier props available in-game. Character progression system, with additional abilities as your character completes missions and rises in rank. Scoring system per mission - gain points for kills/objectives completed, lose points for deaths/failed objectives. The plugin will store the score from your best and most recent attempt at each mission. Possible Features (These are things I'd like to add, but aren't yet confirmed features. They most likely wont be in the first release) Voice acting for radio transmissions from HQ. Per-mission and Service Record leaderboards Developer API for adding missions Proof of Concept / Teaser Video This brief concept video shows the basic gameplay flow of reporting for duty, accepting a mission, and completing an extremely basic dogfight mission. Please note it is a very early pre-alpha version of the plugin - typically I leave animations and other "user polish" until right before release.
  11. It's stupid. This shit should really be Federalized... though I'm quite sure as great as that'd be on paper, the fed gov't would fuck it up even worse than is already the case.
  12. Kinda find it disturbing to know our fire and rescue folk waste so much time and energy in a territorial pissing contest. I mean I know they've gotta keep themselves busy in between saving peoples lives, but surely when we're talking fire and rescue, you should just be getting the job done not stopping to check you've got the right initials on your rig, or getting approval from your union reps or other BS.
  13. I really don't know how to summarize this weeks live LSPDFR Australia patrol except..... an absolute wall-to-wall shitshow!
  14. They look mean AF on the commodores in Highway Patrol's intro though :P
Yet another essential LSPDFR plugin by Albo, not really much more to be said really. Pretty soon we'll all be playing AlboPDFR :D
  15. Testing out a beta version of a new ACTPOL/AFP texture pack tonight, as the AFP tries to help save Sandy Shores from a horde of rampaging rednecks!
  16. Well, I've heard that some of the times the site goes down, has been from DDOSes aimed at the download system. Surely that'd be easier to mitigate if an account was necessary, since presumably there's some security to prevent/limit automated accounts.
  17. About the only thing I'd like to see changed about the review system, is to only allow posting once the user has actually downloaded the file. Sure, this'd mean you'd need to be logged in to download plugins, but hey, maybe the site would be up more often then ;)
  18. Last night I patrolled the Paleto area in an Audi S4. We put a lot of km's on the clock and arrested a whole bunch of people, as well as took a look at upcoming changes to my Domestic Disturbance callout:
  19. You'll need to make sure all of your cleanup code is in End, then it'll get called whenever your callout ends for any reason.
  20. Like actually drawing it out poly by poly? Shit that must take some epic patience!
  21. I've seen this term a few times but not really sure, what does 'scratch made' mean?
