  1. Some of you guys should probably take a look at this :P
  2. Oh nice! I have noticed the variation between models. Rear window mapping is good, pretty sure I've seen some total advertising billboard looking cars with the back window all liveried up too lol
  3. Have been meaning to ask you, any chance we can get a bunch of the different bumper sticker slogans on future HWY liveries? would be great if we could see even 2 or 3 different slogans on the VF, for example. Maybe I'm weird, but I'd love to see this more than different letters/numbers on the hood/roof lol
  4. Sure its not Terry's tree?
  5. So disable all the other keybindings except for Secondary Siren=E? Or all the other keybindings except for this and any others you need, despite only wanting the horn feature lol
  6. Yeah, thats pretty much the same concept as what I do. You don't need RDE to make new car slots though, all it takes is to rename the model files to something, and make a vehicles.meta entry with that same name (I generally just copy police3, and point the new car at police3's handling if it doesnt need its own). Carcols should be doable via an RPF, I think the only thing you ever need to touch the original meta's for is to edit vehicles.meta for built-in cars, cause for some reason that doesnt seem to overwrite properly. I don't understand that since handling and carvariations overwrite just fine, but meh, just another one of those #gtathings lol
  7. Its usually more "cash in" in the sense of the users seeing the pack author as the model authors, and those guys who deserve the credit being lost in the sidelines. And of course as any Aussie LSPDFR player probably knows, the whole model theft bullshit.
  8. Well, its easy enough to set up a one-click installer, the trouble is most vehicle modders are against those sorts of things (cant really blame them, they're generally made by dodgy cunts trying to cash in on someone elses hard work)
  9. Load order, basically. The game loads all the base rpf's (x64alphabet) first. Then it works its way through dlclist.xml loading everything i the first one, then the next so on and so on. When you install a car and it doesnt work, it means rockstar updated it in one of the patchday dlc's, that is lower in the order than where you put it, so your model overwrites x64e, then their model overwrites yours. I was hoping to release a NSWPF pack DLC with everything set up, but the mod authors aren't happy with that, so I'll probably be releasing a generic 'custom cars' DLC pack over the weekend that'll make a convenient central spot to install everything - means for future R* updates, you'll just have to edit your dlclist.xml to load it again, and everything will just work, regardless of how many times R* update the stock models.
  10. Rustling up some rednecks action in Raton Canyon:
  11. Finally rested after my 24 hour livestream, I'm back on patrol today in the brand new unmarked Toyota Camry with detective beacon:
  12. I think you Moosed the uploads, they seem to be the wrong way round ;)
Bout bloody time... ... I mean, awesome model, as Skillful says best camry out there. Orca/10
  13. If you can go 200000K's in 5 years with the same poo, you should probably see a doctor
  14. Darwin's actually one of the nicest places in Australia I reckon (ok, so you have to ignore the 6 weeks of 2000% humidity, and as much of the erm 'local wildlife' as possible). But those things aside, its a great place. Most laid back culture, clear blue skies and perfect weather while the rest of the country freezes, the most amazing storms over summer.
  15. @Fiskey111 you could possibly block callouts yourself with something like this: GameFiber.StartNew(delegate { while (true) { GameFiber.Yield(); if (Functions.IsCalloutRunning()) { Functions.StopCurrentCallout(); } } }); IsCalloutRunning returns true as soon as the callout is displayed, so this should stop it before they can accept it. Might still show the callout notifications to the user though, haven't tested that.
  16. lol, thats not what I've heard at all
  17. Only cause everyone in Adelaide is too stoned off their ass to do any of that :P
10/10, will not get run over by stupid peds during traffic stop again. Doesn't affect FPS in the slightest, and as its a game file edit if it doesn't work quite the way you'd like, you can always invest the time to read through the file and tweak things till it does.
  18. All hail the Land Dolphin!
  19. Can we swap politicians too?
  20. Probably cause you don't really need NBN in the ACT. I mean, it'd be great to have Donnzy's speed, but I imagine the 80mbps we can easily get here is more than enough for any dumb politician to browse facebook, nobody needs faster than that obviously :P
  21. I finally bow to popular demand and endure the woeful Bait Car concept:
  22. That's great, any objections to me including that with the next version as the default offences?
