Saw it at the theaters, but I'm still buying it on Blu-ray when it comes out, most definitely.

The swearing didn't really bother me much. All it did was make me love the movie even more. In fact I didn't really notice it. :-)

Two reasons why this could be happening. 1.) Your CPU is too weak to run FRAPS and a game at the same time. 2.) You have a frame-limiter activated in the FRAPS options.

I absolutely loved this bloody film! One of the greatest films I have seen at the cinema in a long time. There's no other film like it as far as I know; just about two regular patrol officers on the beat. If you are a cop or even have a passing interest in law enforcement, you should definitely go see it, mos def homie. I was looking forward to it for a long time and was not disappointed. I'd say it's like a film adaptation of Southland (which is a good show, by the way), but, only infinitely better. I loved all of David Ayer's movies, from Training Day, Harsh Times, Street Kings, and now this one. The man's a genious, I tell you. He grew up in South Central Los Angeles and served in the U.S. Navy, so he has first-hand knowledge of what makes his movies authentic. He needs to be making a movie every year, man. Came out 21 September 2012. Should be showing in cinemas all across Canada.

Well, being an LCPDFR'er, I'm wanting police interaction to be improved. I want to be able to interact with the cops more than just running and gunning. Getting ticketed, pulled over, etc.

I'll get it for PS3 if its not released on PC. But, it will probably be released on PC, as was all other GTAs since GTA 3.

I can't wait for this movie to come out. I love all of Ayer's stuff, I liked Harsh Times, Training Day and even Street Kings. There haven't been many movies that focus soley on patrol officers, so this will be a rarity, and a gem at that. Ayer grew up in Los Angeles and served in the U.S. Navy, so his scripts are authentic. The fact that he's writing, directing and producing this is a sure sign of a good film. From the looks of things, Jake Gyllenhaal's character's a former U.S. Marine. He has an Eagle, Globe and Anchor pin on his uniform pocket, and has U.S. Navy/USMC medals on his uniform. I think this is the first major film, that I've seen that, had them. I don't know, at the end of the "red band" trailer, the two main characters are being awarded the Medal of Valor, which is the highest medal a police officer can get, which probably means that they survived whatever the film threw at them. Although, in the trailer, you can see a close-up shot of the dead body of an LAPD officer who was stabbed through the eye with a knife; from the looks of things, that was probably one of the supporting cast.
