  1. Saw that aswell. There are numerous .ybn files in the mod, if you remove one it renders the interior unusable - that is however where collision is inputted. I appreciate you taking a look 👍
  2. As above in my original post... There is no detail on what they exactly did to fix the issue. The mod works well when installed but at set locations on the map where it will crash when installed & operating. The comments on the GTA V section make reference to the crashes with the odd person stating they managed to rectify it with no input as to how - I've gone through all 200+ comments, I've logged on to the Matus discord (which is dead) I'm in a bind here and if someone could help it'd be much appreciated.
  3. Good Evening, I downloaded the Paleto Bay Sheriffs office interior extension, mod does work well but there is a well known bug which causes the game to crash in certain areas of the map due to a collision issue. Does anyone have an idea how to go about fixing this issue? I've tried to contact the mod author Matus but it's proving to be difficult. Reading the comments section of the download page some people appear to have made edits to the mod files but don't go into any detail over what exactly they did... For avoidance of doubt this is the mod I'm referring to:- https://www.gta5-mods.com/maps/paleto-bay-sheriff-s-office-extended-sp-and-fivem-mlo Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide

  5. Hey guys, I'm a big fan of LSPDFR and love the city focused stuff but sometimes I like to get out into nature and just have a chill session playing as a Game Warden or Ranger type of LEO. One thing I think is missing in game is an Ambience mod of Hunters spawning out of the way in rural areas (such as the mountains or desert) or fishermen along the coast (the coast is actually pretty bare in alot of places) would it be possible for an ambient mod to be developed that just added some random spawns of Hunters and people fishing/carrying poles that could be interacted with as a Warden type? I also had an idea of perhaps having pickups with deer carcasses in driving around that could be subject to pullovers from game warden types. I'd appreciate any feedback on this suggest as more things to do out in the rural areas would be welcome.

  7. How about something different like a University Police or Transit Dept. US has thousands of small and specialist types of police forces to choose from.
  8. It's a lack of vision within the modern gaming industry in general. It says alot when the best police simulation game is a mod for GTA... A hell of alot - you should be very proud of your accomplishments.

  10. Not against the mass selling/playing of their product by under 18 year olds though which is rife and can be widely evidenced, that would on paper constitute their product being used in other ways than intended but that has a positive balance to their balance sheet - I understand why Rockstar do all they can without impacting too heavily on their PR to prevent modding as they will argue it will impact on sales of official DLC packs/expansions (do expansions still exist in modern gaming still?) I wouldn't say Rockstars intentions were 'good' they simply want as much control over their profit margins as they possibly can keep - the fact remains the reason why I and many others buy the PC version of their games going all the way back to GTA III was down to the modding scene, being able to implement new skins and vehicles easily was the number 1 reason I bought GTA 3 and Vice City on the PC, I remember having a full on argument with a friend of mine when GTA 3 was released on the PC and I bought it "What are you wasting your money for? You own it on the PS2" only for me to tell him about the Mods you could download - a week later there was a complete retexture pack where my game looked 10x better than the original PS2 version with loads more features. PC ports/versions have always been far more versatile and in my opinion value for money.

  12. Rockstar has become infamously anti-modding. They see it as a threat to their profit margins what with the explosion of GTA Online, Shark cards and pointless Online DLC expansion. Single player is simply neglected - imagine how successful a police DLC story would be in the GTA universe with a story mode and open world LSPDFR like call outs/features would be? In Rockstars eyes it's too much effort when they can sell cheap car add ons to console kiddies for maximum profit- they've lost their way in my opinion and for a British company it's sickening.
  13. Greetings all, First of all I'd like to express my thanks to the community for the massive work that has gone into LSPDFR, it truly is fantastic work and some of the most fun I've had with a game in a long, long time. Life other posters here I am a member of the Law Enforcement community, I have so particular interest in specialist/infrastructure policing - what I mean by this is: - Transit - Rail - Port - Aviation - Open Space/Park - Industrial/Private I intend to set up a YouTube LSPDFR channel that specialised in this type of policing and not just the standard county/metropolitan game play footage you see out there. I have tried my hand at scripting and sadly my skills aren't really up to muster, so I though I'd throw myself at the community and request their help with the creation of a 'infrastructure policing callout pack.' Suggested ideas for callouts would include: - Criminal Trespass (Airport Runway/Port Facility) - Vagrancy/Pan Handling/Begging Offences - Travel Fraud and Ticket Irregularities - Assault on Commuters and Staff - Drunk & Disorderly Behaviour - Large Scale Disturbance - Gang Activity on Metro - Drug Dealing - Assist Security/Transit Authority Personnel - Intoxicated Person through Drug Use - Suicidal Person - Armed Robbery from Transit/Rail/Airport/Port Depot If successful I would of course be more than happy to support and promote the author as I believe the LSPDFR community would benefit from such an inclusion. Cheers, RadGamma

  21. Yeah I know but I'm using a bit of 'artistic licensing' and establishing my own LS Transit Department (Kinda like BART in San Francisco only with less criminal lawsuit's heading the departments way.... Even by GTA standards BART has had a pretty colourful history! ) I plan on implementing a 'LoCo Rail Road Police' Department aswell with unique rail calls centered around the railway in LS but have decided to concentrate on the Metro for now.
  22. Greetings all, I'm working on coding in Transit/Rail Road Police calls into the game, I was wondering if anyone fancied making some appropriate skins for a 'Los Santos Transit Authority' Department vehicle Skins? I'm looking at putting in Los Santos Transit Police in first - being a smaller city wide department specialising in policing the transit network of Los Santos. My talents sadly don't lie in skinning - I was thinking a simple design something along the lines of the pictures below, with perhaps the oval shield being replaced with the City of Los Santos Crest and the LS Transit crest featured on the back.

  24. My point is what I guess the majority of people on here would consider 'security work' is just the general day to day, mundane, police work most officers end up dealing with.
