You've got "Grand Theft Auto V" in the openIV path box twice

According to your game path, that should be your issue. Open IV is literally looking for the exe in Grand Theft Auto V/Grand Theft Auto V

Remove the second /Grand Theft auto V and it should work

I saw some videos of multiplayer patrols, but everywhere I read I read that mods can get you bannedon GTA Online, so how is it being done

As Trent stated above, Those of us doing online multiplayer patrols are using the five reborn platform. We (KUFFS) use our own private server to host. It is not LSPDFR, because Rage hook and all related plugins will not work with Reborn.   We have custom vehicles, peds, weapons and sirens in but thats about it.

Tonight's weekly Friday night ride along patrol livestream with My lovely wife The Rock Queen is dedicated to honoring and celebrating 7 years of great police mods and the lcpdfr/lspdfr community.

These weekly livestreams feature LSPDFR & Darkmyre's Partner mod. There is always a good turn out and always hilarious. Be sure to stop by for the fun!

Tonight we're back in the city and checking out The partner mod's driver option where my AI partner drives. If it's anything like the hilarious outcome of previous ride alongs...it should be a super fun hour of police role play adventure!

Many more new LSPDFR episodes are up on my channel as well so check em out!

  4. Ok, so we know there is not any mod currently to give you the loudspeaker effect for traffic stops, pursuits etc. It is common knowledge that the only way to achieve this effect is through effects in editing. There has been quite a few posts I have seen on this forum of players asking how they can get this effect in their videos. I have also been asked personally how I achieve it in my vids.

To that end I decided to make a tutorial to help others who maybe interested. The first one is for those who use audacity to record and/or edit their audio commentary. I will upload one on how to do it in Sony Vegas soon. Enjoy!

  5. How often are the crashes? Crashes are going to happen. By installing mods you are forcing the game to do something it was not designed to do. Crashes here and there are gonna happen, happens to all of us. If the crashes happen everytime you play and/or they happen in the same place/spot/within a certain action, etc, then you most likely have an issue.

So, i need to copy clear folder with GTA V, rename it (for example GTA V FOR ONLINE) and install the mod to one of them? It should be look like 1 folder with clear GTA for Online and 1 where i have installed mods?

Yes. All you have to do is rename the directory name to 'Grand Theft Auto V' for which ever version you want to run and run from the corresponding desktop icon. Both game folders have to be in your common folder for this to work. You just HAVE to be careful you don't forget to swap folders and accidentally run normal when your modded folder is in the name path because that will launch the game. Wont run the mods, but the files are there and if Rockstar detects them, Boom! Ban hammer

Thanks a lot for the reply!

Yeah...i am also using Agency callouts but freezing the units doensn't really work for me.

Isn't it funny that there is a mod for everything in LSPDFR. You can set the spawning distance and the vehicle type of the backup and much more.
But nothing as simple as keeping your backup on scene or having them follow you.

Or is there something obvious that i am missing?

There is a need for this, for sure. The one thing to keep in mind here is that mods are designed to break a game and make it your bitch to run in ways it was not designed to run. Keep in mind that coding mods for this game is not an easy task. If it were, We would have more mods on here than forum posts.

With callouts, police radio, and other mods that are designed to increase immersion, available tasks to perform etc; the coding is simply using whats in the game and writing scripts to call up certain objects, animations, etc and run a certain way, much like rockstar does in creating the SP missions.

When you are doing something like freezing units you are  in place when normally they are hard coded in the game to drive off after so many seconds, Coding a mod to freeze them is literally trying to stop the game from doing what is normal. This causes possible crashes and even the game to simply ignore it and do what it wants any ways...

That being said, I have been here about 6 months, and in that short time I have seen mods improve, and new ones created and alot of them. The experience does improve over time and it gets leaner meaner and runs better because these guys all work their asses of in their free time to try and create police role play utopia. The mods will not always work as intended, crashes will happen. One day what you want will be here. I know, Its happened for me and every other dude on here many times I'm sure.

    Hey Guys!

Is there a feature to keep code3/code2 units on scene without havig them leave after 5 seconds?
With all the plugins LSPDFR is really almost perfect but this one keeps disturbing me everytime i play.

Does anyone know a plugin to solve this issue?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

    Greetings from Austria!
    Michael

Agency callouts has this option built into the duty menu. However, Darkmyre warns it is experimental. I have mine set to freeze all the time. Have experienced some crashes due to this, but nothing too bad.

Basically I'm having an issue with my modded cars, the "flashing" of the lightbars isn't present. The lightbar faces themselves are appearing and disappearing, but there is not flash from them. Any ideas? Thanks :D

Not quite sure what you are referring to here. My assumption is that you mean the Lights dim, especially during the day and do not much look like ELS.

If this is the case, Try these:

Ever since Jerkstar's update recently that broke my game, I haven't bothered reinstalling anything due to the simple fact their updates are becoming ore frequent, and things will keep breaking.  I saw the sticky topic in the LSPDFR section on how to revert your game, but a lot of people reported that as not working this time.  So is there any other way to prevent GTA's updates?  I'm really craving playing LSPDFR again, but I don't want to go through the hassle of reinstalling everything again.

Unfortunately that's the name of the game. I never use RPH revert. I keep multiple backups of working versions on my D drive and Keep both vanilla and modded versions on my C drive for easily switching back n forth between online and modded SP games.

My backups have saved my ass more times than not when it comes to GTA V updates.

Check out a tutorial I did on using backups and running multiple installs:

  11. You can also use a trainer to customize weapons. Granted, It is not ideal, but if you're paroling outside of Los santos, Using the armory may not be ideal. I generally don't use the armory unless I start a patrol at the D/T Police station.

That being said, The ability to create custom loadouts with that plug in is awesome.

Okay so I have installed everything including:

    LSPDFR

    RAGE plugin hook

    ScriptHookV

    ScriptHookVDotNet

I have also placed everything where it needs to be, step by step along with a tutorial video. RAGE plugin hook is working and under the plugins tab it is showing LSPD First Response and it is set to load it on startup. But when I launch the game through RAGE plugin hook, nothing works. The game itself loads up fine, but pressing the console key does absolutely nothing and LSPDFR is not in my game. I have been working on this for 2 days now and have looked at every forum and video I can find, but I can't find anyone with the same issue. I have tried every possible solution I could find and nothing has worked. I have even deleted the copy of GTA and re copied it and did everything all over again with still nothing. It's really frustrating as I bought GTA 5 for my PC specifically to play LSPDFR. I've played through the story too many times on my Xbox and really dislike GTA online. so without being able to make LSPDFR work, its just been a waste of money. Hopefully someone will know why it's not working .
