Felons
Wait so based on your interaction with how many police officers? Like 10? You can now judge the nearly 800,000 law enforcement officers employed in the U.S. alone (don't have stats on Canada). If you guys just stopped and thought about what you were saying you would understand how ignorant of a statement that is. I find that first off, most people think cops are dicks because the interactions they have with them are usually bad (getting a ticket or getting arrested), basically nobody likes being told they are wrong. Secondly, I don't think people really understand why cops do what they do or they have bad information on the job. Before I was a sheriff's explorer and eventually a police academy graduate I had no idea why cops did certain things or I thought they sounded like assholes for saying certain things, but now that I have some experience in that field I have a much better understanding on their point of view and a lot of it makes much more sense. I'm not saying that every cop is a great cop but in my experience (not to sound cocky but I can almost guarantee I have a lot more experience than you have with law enforcement) that the majority of officers are good people just trying to do the job the best they can. People always complain about cops and say how 99% of them are bad and I feel that contributes to the "us vs them" mentality that people criticize police for having, because if all I hear from people is how much they hate the police and how all cops are bad cops then it does feel like everyone is against you. However, for me I just remind myself that just like it isn't fair for people to think that most cops are bad it isn't fair for me to assume that everyone hates cops because I have met many people who are very supportive.

Fugitive Recovery Agent
I pretty sure that is a no, you agreed to the plea bargain so I don't think you can go back on that after the case is finished. However, I am not a lawyer and don't know Pennsylvania state law so I would follow cp702's advice and consult your attorney for more accurate information. As for becoming a law enforcement officer or bounty hunter I would just find a new career field that interests you. I hate to be the crusher of dreams, but I am an upfront person and will be brutally honest. People with felony (and in most cases misdemeanor) conviction just aren't cut out to work in any kind of law enforcement or public service job. Why do you think there aren't any police officers with criminal records? I am sure there are the few odd ones out there that got to stay police officers after some conviction, but those are usually special cases. 99.9% of the time any kind of adult conviction is a disqualifier for law enforcement work. Why does your "friend" want to be a bounty hunter because that is a big jump from being a police officer. The work they do is different than what normal police officers do. If he just wants to do it because you get to wear a vest and a badge and carry the cool equipment then you are doing it for the wrong reasons. Just like people who want to be police officers to wear a badge and drive with lights and sirens on are cut out for law enforcement, it is the same thing for bounty hunters. Those are the people who are likely to abuse their power and try to pretend to be something they are not. I am saying this because I knew people in my sheriff's office who were like that and it got them in trouble and made the agency look bad. I have also encountered bounty hunters like that who always wanted to "back us up" on calls if they saw us which is NOT what you do as a bounty hunter.

9/11 and ISIS
First off don't discourage people from doing or going where they want. Putting that fear into the public helps the terrorist accomplish their goal. You can tell people to be aware and report suspicious activity, but simply saying everyone stay home because terrorist are out there is just letting them win. Second the planes they captured are very old Russian jets that are in poor condition and possibly not even operational. Not to mention the jets they captured are in Syria, a looooong way from the U.S. and I'm sure that if any country in the area spots an old Russian jet flying around where it isn't supposed to be they will deal with it swiftly. We outnumber and outpower the Taliban and al-Qaeda that isn't the only factor to consider when fighting insurgent forces, there are many many more things to consider. So while yes in a conventional war we would destroy the shit out of them I doubt they will line up in uniforms to fight us. And your view on Islam couldn't be further from the truth. Just because the only thing about Islam on the TV or internet is about extremist doesn't mean that the majority of muslims are extremist. There are extremist in every religion and just because the news only talks about the muslim extremists doesn't mean that majority are. There are many many muslims who are not extremist, it just depends on how they interpret the Qu'ran. The same thing is true of any religion, in Christianity people interpret the Bible in many different ways and some people take very radical views. Also, you can't state an opinion and then say "I'm not going to give links to back up my statement" and you can "check the facts yourself" because what you are stating is an opinion, not a fact. So if you want people to believe in your opinion you have to give them evidence, not just say look it up yourself. Please back that up with evidence. Canada actually has quite a capable military and has participated in several conflicts and peacekeeping operations across the world. Just because someone has a smaller military than the US doesn't mean they are not capable. "this was my own thinking of things not adding up", riiiiiight because you have access to all the information and I'm sure you are an expert in the subject matter. I'm not even going to try and debate this subject with you because 1) people who are this crazy are impossible to reason with and they are entrenched in their opinion therefore will anything I say will not be able to sway you, and 2) it is off topic, so take your stupid conspiracy theories (which have been disproved several times before) and go somewhere else.

Gun Shots and Sirens For 30 Minutes Straight?
Well seeing how the press is covering every situation that happens almost the moment it happened I would say that if something doesn't get news coverage within the first 24 hours of the event then it never will. News agencies are not too interested in old stories.

a nice cop!
You know what I just noticed about this video. It is fake, I can tell because his lightbar does not have steady red which is required by law in the state of California. I've seen this video before but never noticed it until now.

PC for running and supporting gta iv along with lcpdfr 1.0 mod
For GTAIV you are not going to need that high end of a PC, even with all the mods you will want to run. I am not familiar with AMD processors so I'm not sure what the equivalent processor would be on the AMD side but you will want a i5 or i7 processor with around 3.00 GHz speed. A mid-range graphics card (again I don't know AMD but I know Nvidia) something like an Nvidia GTX 500 series should do fine. For RAM I would recommend at least 6GB, most people go with 8GB now days. I do not recommend more than 16GB of RAM because it is just overkill and a waste of money, especially if you aren't running a lot of software at the same time. For storage devices it doesn't really matter, however if it is within your budget (probably isn't) SSDs are the way to go, they are faster and more secure however to get an SSD you will have to dish out some $$$$ so I wouldn't worry about it. Power Supply will be dependent on what kind of stuff you get 600W should be good for most mid-range PCs but you can go with an 850 if you want to be safe. For upgrading you current computer it is possible to upgrade any component you want however, if you are looking to upgrade the CPU (processor) then you might as well build a new PC because you are going to have to buy a new motherboard most likely. So if you are looking to just upgrade your current system then RAM and graphics card is pretty much going to be the only thing you can do. If you are looking to buy or build a new PC then you will have more options and better performance.

Gun Shots and Sirens For 30 Minutes Straight?
Lol, I think my post was misunderstood. I didn't mean if you ask the pizza guy what he's delivering; I meant that if you were just standing on the street and a random pizza delivery car drove by and you asked the person standing next to you "what kind of pizza is he delivering?" Maybe a better analogy would have been the UPS guy because nobody knows what they are delivering, even the UPS guy. Nice, I used to live in Herndon (lived there 10 years). Fairfax was my favorite place I've lived, although right now Germany is giving it a run for its money but I think the DC area still tops Germany.

Gun Shots and Sirens For 30 Minutes Straight?
5 suspects killed?! I think that would make national headlines, it isn't everyday that the police kill 5 suspects in a single day, not to mention a single incident.

Laws on police vehicles?
Interesting, I've never heard of this agency or anything like it. It is a private police force that has arrest powers (only while on duty). That is the strangest thing I've heard of, it is like a mix of a police force and a private security company. And some quick research shows that isn't the only private police force, I'm almost surprised that I haven't come across something like this before. Learn something new every day, thanks for sharing. As far as security companies go, I know of a couple in Florida. The biggest one we dealt with while patrolling my county was a company called Critical Intervention Services (CIS) which was an armed security company (they have air units, marine units, K-9, SWAT) that provided security services to the big power plant in Tampa. They also were hired for security at some of the Section 8 housing complexes in the Tampa area as well. However in my county some wealthy gated community hired them to provide security for their neighborhood which many of us laughed at because they were in a very nice part of the county with low crime and to make it worse one of the CIS officers that worked there regularly was this nut job who was a wanna-be cop. He would often tell us stories about how he would pull people over (they drove CVPIs with green and amber lightbars) and issue citations (they were really just HOA slips). He also told us about how he drew down on someone before and how a LT from our sheriff's office called him specifically while he was off duty to come in and help with finding a missing child in the neighborhood because apparently our deputies couldn't find her, but when he arrived he found the child within an hour. Yeah, this guy was full of stories and some of them were borderline criminal. We normally got stupid calls in that neighborhood (like juvenile complaints) and a few serious burglaries and anytime he saw one of us pull into the neighborhood he would follow us to the call to "back us up". The calls themselves weren't bad, but I hated responding to calls in that neighborhood simply because I hated dealing with that guy.

Laws on police vehicles?
I know in certain areas there are agencies with similar livery designs. The most obvious place is to look at California where most agencies have black and white cars with only minor changes to the decals. In Florida pretty much all the sheriff's offices run white cars with green stripes. In Massachusetts it seems like all the city agencies run the same paint scheme as Boston PD. In New Jersey there is an agency that looks similar to NYPD, obviously when you look at them they are clearly not NYPD but I can see if you were to quickly get a glance at it you might mistake it for an NYPD cruiser. Union City, NJ http://www.policecarwebsite.net/fc/rwcar4j/unioncity.html Or NYC Sheriff which is identical to NYPD except their cars say "SHERIFF" across the side. http://www.policecarwebsite.net/fc/ny/nyc.html

Gun Shots and Sirens For 30 Minutes Straight?
That is like seeing a pizza delivery guy and asking "what kind of pizza is he delivering?" There are so many different answers to that question that it is impossible to know what is going on with so little information, but if you really want some answers I can give you like a handful of calls that would warrant that response. Shooting Robbery Burglary Home Invasion Serving a warrant Kidnapping Barricaded suspect The list goes on and on. Just do what the police tell you and you will be safe.

Felons
Lol, where do you get these statistics? If you show me a reliable source that has these stats and I will be impressed. But guess what I won't have to worry about that because you are just making this up as you go, you have no evidence of this. You want to know how I know you are not a 25 year old paralegal student? Because you say stupid shit like this, nobody in their right mind would believe the BS you are spewing right now.

Felons
I'm not saying you need to have perfect grammar, but it helps if you use your words correctly so I can understand what you are saying. Sure, my text messages aren't always grammatically correct but I make sure that what I'm trying to say still comes across in a clear manner. No where did I say that every law that the U.S. has is a good law, but regardless of my opinion that is the law and I will enforce it even if I disagree with it. You are jumping from topic to topic I'm not even sure where you are going with this.

Felons
I think you are using words that you don't quite know the meaning of. Why didn't you just say "what would you do if child pornography was legal?" I'm not dodging questions, you are just wording your questions very poorly. And to answer your new question, no I would not support a law that lets you have sex with an under aged child. If that did become legal (even though that is disgusting and will never happen) then I would not have any law to enforce so I'm not sure what the whole point of that question is.

Felons
Like I said in my previous post I am guessing you are pretty young so I'm willing to bet you don't know too many responsible people who drink. I have been to plenty of parties and bars and only had a couple beers. I rarely have an interest in getting completely drunk, especially if I have stuff I need to do the next day (like go to work). Just because you don't know anyone who only had a couple beers doesn't mean they aren't out there. Believe it or not, there is a lot you don't know. Lol, I am sure you are doing me a favor. Slave to my country? If congress legislated child porn? That doesn't even make sense, do you know what you are saying? And if you mean would I enforce a child pornography law, then the answer is yes. And BTW, child pornography is already against the law and the police are very strict on enforcing that law.

You seriously need to do some research and by research I don't mean going to your favorite news source that has some kind of bias and looking there. Do some serious reading because you will find that the "witnesses" pretty much are caught in lies and this video you speak of doesn't even catch the shooting, the video takes place like 5 minutes after the shooting so it doesn't prove anything. I hope you never become a cop because you are basically saying that if you feel a fellow officer did something wrong you would just execute them yourself, how is that any better than what you are accusing Officer Wilson of doing? You are saying that you are justified in executing someone because you don't agree with their judgement call. I can tell by your way of writing, the logic you are using, and the attitude you have that you are probably a young kid (under the age of 16), maybe when you are older and more mature you will understand what you are saying. I'm just going to chalk this up as young arrogance. Where did he say that a dog is nothing? He didn't say that animals aren't capable of feeling something or processing information, he is just saying that they are not capable of thinking the way we think. A dog or lion or whatever animal you want to use is not capable of processing and using the information that we can use, if they could then dogs and lions would be able to drive cars, order meals, and do things that humans can do. I don't think you are old enough to drink alcohol much less understand how it works so how about you leave that to people who know what they are talking about.

Swatting out of hand?
I'm seeing a lot of misguided statements regarding this law. This may vary by state but in my (former) state if you commit a crime anything that happens during the commission of that crime is your responsibility regardless of your role or intent while committing the crime. A popular one used as an example is a guy goes into convience store and robs the owner and in the commission of the robbery the gunman shoots and kills the clerk the getaway driver who was sitting outside waiting will also be charged with murder even if he had no idea the clerk would be shot, he willingly participated in the crime so he is charged as well. If this were a true story (I'm pretty sure everyone knows its fake by now) then the kid could be charged with anything that happened during that raid, including the father being shot by police because he caused that raid to happen. It doesn't matter if he didn't intend for anyone to get hurt or if he was just doing it as a prank he is responsible for anything that happens. I see someone has posted the article about the Orlando man who is being charged with the murder of a woman after a stray police bullet hit the lady who was a bystander. This is a perfect example of this law, he was committing a crime and in the process the police accidentally shot and killed a woman. This would not have happened if the suspect had not been committing the crime therefor he is liable for anything that happens while he is committing the crime. This is pretty much identical to the case law that says if a suspect injures or kills someone during a police pursuit the police are not liable for those injuries/deaths, the suspect is because if the suspect had not fled the police in the first place none of that would have happened.

Felons
Positions such as police officer, firefighter, and many other positions that the general public have a high sense of trust in don't hire people who have a criminal history because it would look bad for the agency and hurts the reputation of their officers. And if you really do know "plenty of police officers" breaking the law everyday I suggest you report it to your local agency. He should have thought about the consequences before he committed the crime. If I know something is wrong then I don't do it, simple as that. He made the choice to commit a felony. And to use that as a justification for him to commit more felonies is just more proof that he wouldn't be suitable anyway. There is a HUGE difference between a felony and a non-criminal traffic violation. Also please don't spew sh*t out on the internet if you don't know what you are talking about, do some research because the officer in Ferguson has not been charged with murder.

YF-23 Vs F-22
I believe my dad worked on the YF-23 project back in his days as a junior officer. I remember him showing me a manual of some sort from when he worked on the project. Personally the F-16 is my favorite aircraft, I also used to be a big fan of the F-4 Phantom. KC-135s and E-3s are really cool aircraft as well and one of my favorite Navy aircraft is the E-2 Hawkeye.

Inside ISIL and ISIS
Yep, I guess I better give up too because you are clearly not seeing my point and are determined that religion is just some simple subject that doesn't require much research to understand which couldn't be further from the truth. But oh well, if you want to continue believing that then go ahead.
-
Inside ISIL and ISIS
See but that is my point, if/when you have these conversations then you should be informed on the topic. Sure it is not a topic I get involved in a lot but at least if it comes up I have some knowledge and can participate in the topic and at least know a little bit about what I'm talking about. I don't know anything about medical science so if a topic came up about that I would simply not say anything because I wouldn't know what I'm talking about and if I wanted to participate in the conversation I would try to learn about the topic a little bit so I at least sound somewhat informed instead of making outrageous or misinformed claims just because I saw a couple of episodes of House or something like that.

Inside ISIL and ISIS
I understand, however instead of just going off of your own perception you should try reading some books or take classes they give different points of view on things and gives you a better understanding. When I was in college and took a World Religions class it didn't make me any more religious or want to go out and join a church but it definitely gave me a better insight into those religions (and it covered quite a few).

Inside ISIL and ISIS
Why is everything you base your beliefs off of from a movie? Maybe you should try reading some books or taking a class, you will get different view points then. It sounds like you just watch movies that generally follow what you believe which is fine but doesn't show you the other point of view.

What lighting color do you like?
In the state of New York it is the law that law enforcement vehicles have only red/white lights, they are allowed to have a little blue but it can only be to the rear.

>Post your local PD/FD/EMS pics here<
Ok so that isn't what they patrol around in on post but they do have them (and I saw them taking one out for a spin the other day). They don't use these Fords (they use some European sedan I haven't seen before but looks very similar to this) but other than that it looks exactly like this.
