  2. I did. And I didn't know you were on this forum! :D Glad to know what to model for this unmarked Caprice though. Thanks, guys.
  3. I don't really need the model. As a matter of fact, I'm trying to make this car with my conversion. I hate Pumbars' model. They seem similar. Are they the same? Because I don't see any difference so far.
  4. In the video below you will see a black 1991 Chevrolet Caprice every now and then. It carries a red dashboard light. I don't really know the name of this light device, so I was wondering if anyone else around there knows. Thanks in advcance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKGmd8Joo9I

  6. Very good job. Old skool, yet fiction. Turned out great!
  7. BAYWATCH! :D Looks kind of cool actually.

  9. Sorry, I had to be more direct. I meant interior. But thanks anyways!
  10. He optimized the model for his PAPD version. So you could consider this normal.
  11. Some of you might know it, some of you might not but I am reconverting both of these Caprices. I got a better model. Same author. but more details. Once it's converted I will also be adding my new reworked aerodynics! Not to mention I have expanded my skills so things will look way better. Here's a sneak-peak; More to come ;) EDIT: I am kind of in need of pictures of actual '90s LAPD cars to see what equipment they had, plus how it was installed.
  12. They have been upgrading more. And I love that lightbar. It's pretty famous as well.
  13. But without textures it'll be transparent? :O
  14. Tastes are different. To be honest, I'm not a fan of it myself because it's not an old truck. But that isn't a reason to just turn down his effort. I have to confess this work is magnificent. It looks accurate already even though it's still WIP. He still does a good job on it. But saying I don't like it without a reason..? Man, he did great even though it's not our style.
  15. I'd say grow in ZModeler first by starting low and expanding. For instance, simply start adding a lightbar. (You already did that!). Second you could learn how to make a template and map in on the car! Then start learning more about UV mapper. Then perhaps creating little things, and so on and so on. But as a classic lover I'd love to see those old NYPD units!
  16. Wow, that is one extraordinairy siren... But good quality. Good job!
