xRyanHDx got a reaction from Jacob Russell in problem regarding replacing the Sheriff files for GTA 5Hello, this is my first post so sorry if it does not provide enough information, back to the point, every time I replace the Sheriff files ( GTA V/ x64e.rpf/ levels/ gta 5/ vehicles.rpf ) using open IV ( GTA 5 of course ) and load up my game, the sheriff is still the old stanier, i have tried using a different vehicle mod but still get same results, however any other car mod works? its only the sheriff i am having problems with, any help would be much appreciated :)
The photo shows the replaced sheriff !!!!!!!

Glad you got it fixed! Those pesky ELS files can always be a little tricky. 🙂

xRyanHDx reacted to LMS in LSPDFR Sync not updating certain stats? We do not yet log everything, but feel free to suggest events and we can see about adding those.

For now I have using the activity log as a officer log but even that seems to miss a few things. My suggestion if you really wanted to track everything would be to log it in a notepad of some kind either on the computer or IRL 😅

xRyanHDx reacted to LMS in LSPDFR Sync not updating certain stats? As for arrests, the stats are a little misleading right now. Internally we distinguish between detaining someone (cuffing) and arresting someone (taking them to a station or jail/calling prisoner transport for them). Arrests will hence only increase for the latter. We plan to make this distinction clearer soon when we update the stats system.

Have a look here: https://www.lcpdfr.com/wiki/lspdfr/04/modding/doc/outfit/
Play around with changing the XML first, see what happens if you change things.

If you have installed British police clothing components that are designed to be used by the custom characters, then you can use these by editing your outfits.xml file.
If you have installed British police peds (i.e. replacing s_m_y_cop_01 etc.) then you can't use these with a custom character as they entirely different things. Instead, you could use a Preset Character which is like the old system. You can go to the character selection menu and choose Preset Characters to look at all of the different presets available.
You can also define your own presets using the data files.

xRyanHDx got a reaction from StaticM in v0.4 - So how is your FPS?You sir, you are who I wanna be with them specs.
Either way I have a i5-7500 and a GTX 1050ti and I get a constant 60fps on very high/ultra settings, it is the best the game has ever ran for me!

xRyanHDx reacted to zach016 in Ai using default cop models. The LSPD cops are set to use freemode models, rather then the preset model's you change out in openIV (Which is how they are EUP compatible).
Other cops (such as the one your bikecop is replacing) are simply set to the preset models.
What you want to do is edit the Agency.xml in notepad.
More specifically, if you look under the Los Santo's County Sheriff
You can see under the Ped's line
The coding for standard models.
Just delete the freemode ped. lines for whatever department you wish to change, copy and paste one (or both) of the above lines, and then change the model to the model name of your British peds. Make note that multiple "Loadouts" can exist for the same department, and each one specifies which ped's spawn with which vehicles.

Police2, Sheriff 1 & 2 - update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\
Police4, Police, FBI - x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\
Police3 - update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday4ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\
I might be missing 1 or 2 cars but this should help.
-
Not 100% sure, but I think this is the proper path; \update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\

Make sure you're replacing the correct files. GTA V doesn't work as you'd think it would. Most used content is in update.rpf, or in the update folder.
