"AND DONALD TRUMP WITH THE HOSTILE TAKEOVER!" I could see this guy being president. Trump/McMahon 2016. Are you kidding? Do you know how much it costs to run a campaign through to the finish? Plus, he lost all his deals with Macy's, NBC, etc. not that he needs their money, but you don't do this sort of stuff unless your serious. It seems like I started a war over here. I really just wanted to bring attention to a clip of Donald Trump mixing it up with Mr. McMahon. In all seriousness though, if you look at history, the country changes hands every few years, from war-time leaders who crack the whip like Reagan and Bush, to peace-time leaders who increase government assistance, and espouse progressive policies like Clinton and Obama. Russia is becoming increasingly belligerent in Eastern Europe, China is cheating, immigration is a problem, not just with Mexico but worldwide. England and Greece for instance have huge issues with illegal immigration. It's time to crack the whip again. Trump or not, we need someone who does not cave in on their values for political correctness.

Aside from that video which is awesome, the appeal of Trump is that despite some of what he says being edgy, we're used to politicians who are constantly bound by political correctness and speak in empty rhetoric. Trump tells it like it is and says what people think but are afraid to say, which resonates with a lot of people.

If anyone is unsure about who to support in the upcoming election, I just wanted to remind you that this happened:

I did that and the game did its update thing and now I get the infamous "GTA V has stopped working" crash. I get it right before the game window with the intro logos should pop up.

Since GTA V automatically updates when patches come out and overwrites mods through the cloud, etc. I blocked it with my antivirus so I can play my mods even when new patches come out in offline mode. However, I notice that after a few days, no matter what method I use to block the game, it says I have to go online to activate even though it is activated. As soon as I do that, it will update and overwrite my mods. If I don't, I can't play. What do I do? Thanks.

Have you ever heard of the phrase "layer cake federalism"? That would answer a lot of the points you bring up. It has to do with the fact that government in the US is very much broken up into state, local, and federal sectors. Funding comes from the federal to the state to the local level. It is intrinsically broken up that way. What is different in the US from European countries or other countries with similar forms of government, is in the US, the idea of statehood and states' rights is very ardent. In this way, what happens on a federal level is very much removed from incidents with the police, which is very much a local issue. When you say "most other countries," no other country has a system with individual states with as much latitude as "states" in the US. A lot of people in the world that look critically upon things that happen in the US, like police brutality, no gay marriage, etc., is the fact that very many of these things are left up to states to decide, not the federal government, which is why it seems so removed. States are even responsible for running presidential elections. This is why things in one part of the country can be so different than another, providing the illusion to the world that because one state has an issue with one thing, the whole country does, which is not the case. States are free to make their own laws as long as they comply with federal mandates. At the end of the day, all the federal government can really do is not give them funding for certain things. In "most other countries," there is not the same system and thus what happens at a national or federal level has a stronger impact at a local level. The issue of law enforcement is very much a local issue, and is inherently removed from federal oversight. I believe the media loves to have a field day any time one of these incidents happens. Every time one of these incidents happens and there is a lot of pressure on law enforcement to make changes to appease the media, the country just gets weaker. Yes It reminds me of the movie A Few Good Men when Jack Nicholson's character says: "You friggin' people. You have no idea how to defend the nation. All you did was weaken a country today, Kaffee. That's all you did. You put people's lives in danger. Sweet dreams, son." Yes, bad things happen every now and then, but in the age we live in, we need the police. We are too comfortable in our ivory towers watching CNN. That is the real issue.

I just did, I have the very latest version and still get the error.

I have confirmed my installation is indeed the latest version, but I still see the following error upon launching RAGEPluginHook: My game version is 1.0.393.4. I just tried updating to the very latest version of RAGE Plugin Hook from the Rage hook website and I still get the error.

Really? I installed 0.2a and the Ragehook says it does not recognize the game version.

Hello, After thwarting Rockstar's updates by launching the game with the internet unplugged until mods are updated again, yesterday for some reason--upon launching the Ragehook, GTA V said it needed to connect to the Internet to "activate," despite being activated since I installed it without issue. However to do that, I would have to go online which would update the game and break the mods. So I went online to activate and it immediately started updating so I cancelled the update and then tried to launch but it said it was not activated again, and I had to update and now LSPDFR does not work and Ragehook does not recognize the version. Any idea where I could get the files to downgrade from the patch? This is the latest patch that we are talking about. Thanks.

Inspired by CinemaSins, I decided to take up the task of pointing out all the movie and television references I think about while playing GTA V. Enjoy!

This would be pretty cool, however arbitrary it is, when you take someone to the station a box pops up where you type up what happened/what the suspect did and why you arrested them, and the whole thing could be tracked through lcpdfr.com like LCPDFR stats were recorded online if you enabled it.

I did a complete reinstall of the game and the problem is still there. Could it be something with Windows?

Ok, I'll check again. I'm pretty sure I got into the back room. Even without the back room, spawning in the station is good enough.

I read in one of Sam's posts that it is not possible for the interior of the police station featured in the GTA Online Prison Break heist to load outside of online. I was just playing the game and the interior loads fine for me and is enterable. Am I missing something?
