  24. Hi there, I had the same issue too, easy way to fix. Open the trainer and go to Bodyguards -> Bodyguard tasks -> enable "change for all" -> set task to "look at player" or "combat", they should now stay in the vehicle. This worked for me so hopefully will work for you; let me know!

  26. I've had this quite a few times, not entirely sure what causes it though. It's not all the time though thank god. I'll try and keep a note of the situation next time it occurs.
  27. Exactly, so it wouldn't be that tricky. I had a similar idea for quite a while involving cop-specific callouts (just posted a new forum topic about it).
  28. Hi all, Thought that cop-specific callouts would be pretty cool. Nothing worse than selecting a NOOSE officer only to keep getting traffic callouts. Got some ideas for each model type: Cop/Sheriff/Highway Patrol - pursuits, traffic incidents, traffic stops, lower risk gun crime, lower risk drug crime, frisks, drunks etc. NOOSE - Higher risk gun crime, hard traffic stops, homicide, high risk pursuits, hold-ups, bank heists etc. FIB Agent - surveillance, hunt for high risk wanted persons (terrorists etc), investigate organised/gang crime, FIB agents only take down/arrest low to medium risk targets, otherwise handed over to FIB SWAT. FIB SWAT - Same as FIB Agent, except the FIB SWAT do the heavy lifting and actually take down/arrest higher risk criminals/terrorists where applicable. Want the FIB NOOSE insignia option! IAA - Bit tricky as they specialise in overseas intelligence and communications. Perhaps some surveillance based callouts, or even use the IAA model as a plain clothed police officer and have more cop related callouts? DOA - All drug related callouts, high value drug deals, wanted drug lords, maybe more callouts around the port and airport for smugglers. These are just vague ideas, and would require more creativity - (something that I'm not, creative). Obviously cops will have more regular callouts than, NOOSE, FIB, IAA etc, but that just adds some realism. Real-life FBI agents won't be getting surveillance calls every 1min. Maybe some value in an .ini to control how often callouts happen for each model. I know these suggestions involve a lot of hard work and wouldn't just happen, but would love to see something similar one day! Oh also, thank you @Sam for the excellent reference to Tekken, had to look twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things!

  30. I like this idea. I doubt it would be difficult to code; surely each ped has a unique ID, just set up some IF statements? Although I'm a web programmer, not a game programmer haha.

I'm noticing a pattern here, Yard. All of your mods seem to be excellent! Might see if I can get multiple liveries working tomorrow. Don't really have anything else to say other than thank you!
Thank you thank you thank you! I have been waiting for a police spec Insurgent like forever. This has exceeded my expectations! Perfect textures and not too over the top. I have only made one change to this (hope you don't mind). I changed the default gloss black colour to a matte black. I have always prefered matte finish; makes it seem more armoured. If anyone else is interested in doing the same, just open the "carvariations.meta" and replace all "policeinsurgent" livery colour numbers to: That gives you a matte black finish - (identical to the armoured Kuruma). The only addition I would like to see is blacked out (limo) windows, with bullet-proof glass. I'm pretty sure neither of those suggestions are possible at the moment, but just putting it forward for when/if it becomes possible. Thanks again!

Excellent vehicle mod, exactly what I was looking for! When I play LSPDFR I tend to be more interested in NOOSE related callouts, and this vehicle pack is perfect for the job. Most vehicle mods I have seen are more focused on traffic vehicles, so cannot thank you enough for creating these! The only vehicle that I want to see next is a matte black NOOSE livery "INSURGENT2". Please?
  34. I believe all the original car variations are in: Grand Theft Auto V\x64a.rpf\data\carvariations.ymt However as they're compiled as '.ymt' I don't know how to view the file contents. However if you're trying to add a new Sheriff SUV I highly recommend following these steps: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/50909-adding-a-new-emergency-vehicle-is-possible-now/#comment-336409 Follow all the steps in the above link carefully and it should work - (even with siren sounds). Make sure that you've put your new Sheriff SUV into ONLY ONE of the two carvariations.meta: Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf\common\data\carvariations.meta Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpchristmas2\dlc.rpf\common\data\carvariations.meta Just read through that link for more information and all the steps!
  35. ---- EDIT 2: I have tried with '<audioNameHash>RIOT</audioNameHash>' but had no luck.
  36. @Break This is exactly what I have been doing today haha :^) . I have managed to change the default colour to matte black, and I've also got the flashing rear lights working. This time it's the siren itself that doesn't work! When I activate the siren the rear lights flash, but there is no siren sound at all. Pressing and holding the horn button only activates the 'INSURGENT2' horn. However other vehicles on the road recognise me as a police vehicle and move to the side of the road when the silent siren is active. Here is my code so far, does anyone know how to resolve the silent siren issue? C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf\common\data\carvariations.meta C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\vehicles.meta Hope there's someone out there that can help! Many thanks, Jordan ---- EDIT: you may notice traces to the RIOT in my above code, these were just merely attempts to get the siren working by changing 'INSURGENT2' attributes to 'RIOT' ones.
  37. Hi officerAMR The texture file was fine and contained all the correct textures for the 'INSURGENT2'. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll drop OfficerCornish a message and see if he has any ideas. @Sam I did what you suggested and didn't seem to make a difference. I'll keep at it as I'm sure it'll be worth it!
  38. Hi Sam, Yeah the Riot is quite disappointing, just so slow and bulky; rubbish for pursuits! As I said the siren and rear flashing lights work no problem on the 'INSURGENT2', just a pity about the texture glitch. It keeps the traits of the 'RIOT' too which is interesting; meta flags like 'bullet proof glass' and stuff! I'll look into your suggestion and let you know if I figure out how to do it! Hi Chekko, There's nothing worse than losing your vehicle. I usually press F4 to bring up the Ragehook console, and type in 'SPAWN [VEHICLE NAME HERE]', and it'll spawn a new vehicle right in front of you!
  39. Hi all, This is my first forum post, so sincere apologies if I have posted into the wrong place! Firstly I would like to thank the team for their insane LSPDFR mod; you've done a great job! I have been playing around with some of the GTA 5 files in OpenIV in an attempt to put a police siren onto non-police vehicle. In my case I wanted to put a police siren onto 'INSURGENT2'. I just felt that it would make an ideal SWAT vehicle; good off road, strong, and fast! Obviously it's a waste of time using it as a police vehicle unless you've got sirens on the vehicle. In an attempt to mod it myself, I've actually got very close, however have reached a bit of a issue. All I have done is taken the 'INSURGENT2' vehicle files and renamed them 'RIOT', and re-inserted them into the 'vehicles.rpf', so now the 'RIOT' is using the 'INSURGENT2' model. I then updated the 'vehicles.meta' to set the 'RIOT' handling to 'INSURGENT2'. So in short, if you now spawn the 'RIOT' in my GTA 5, it will actually spawn an 'INSURGENT2'. It somehow worked and didn't crash etc, which is something. The 'INSURGENT2' now had sirens and flashing rear lights! Something I haven't yet figured out is the why the exterior of the 'INSURGENT2' is now glitchy and displaying a load of random textures? It might just be because of something I haven't yet updated in the meta or rpfs, but I haven't a clue. 1. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? 2. Is there a better way to achieve a siren on a non-police vehicle? 3. Is there a way to change the default colour for the 'INSURGENT2' to matte black? Please find attached screenshots of the issues. Many thanks, Jordan Oh and yes, I do think this would be an awesome feature for LSPDFR! Think of a police super car like the Adder!
