  1. Yes sir, that is exactly what I am talking about. Thanks for the info I do appreciate it
  2. The ambulance and sheriff both spawn randomly at the Paleto Bay sheriff Station. Is there a way to change the coding so these vehicles wont spawn here, and maybe an add-on car will spawn in those spots instead? For purposes of my YouTube channel, I changed the sign on the front of the sheriff station from Los Santos to Mount Chiliad (Blaine County is Mount Chiliad County basically in my game). When recording videos, the AI sheriff car (Los Santos County) spawning at the sheriffs station ruins the emersion. Just trying to find out if and how I can change that so its always an add-on car (Mount Chiliad Sheriff) being spawned in that spot instead. Thanks for any help.
  3. This plugin is nice so far since downloading and using it. However there are a couple of things I want to point out that will make it more realistic. First off I want to address the charge for Murder 1st Degree. This charge is the most heinous and violent charge of all murder charges. It is a very serious charge, where in some states its still punishable by death. Heck 100 years ago almost every state executed anyone who was found guilty of the offense of murder. So then I saw in the file ChargesItems it listed its years as 25. That's not realistic at all for most countries. The only country I am aware of that is like that is Sweden, and I know because I have a personal friend who works there. Realistically the charge would carry a life sentence. Secondly, there is a charge called "Committed Rape". I cant find anywhere, where there is a charge called that. What you're meaning to put is the charge of "Statutory Rape". This charge means you raped someone against their will. I get you worked hard on the plugin and I can see that, but if your looking to make realistic laws, you need to research them. I don't know about where you live, but in my state, the state legislators website has links to all of the state laws and statutes and even lists the minimum and maximum punishments for violations. Don't take this comment as me bashing your work, I am just saying this to help better yourself and hopefully help for the next plugin you make.
  4. How exactly does the in game court system calculate based on the charge? I recently downloaded this file and I charged an AI with Capital Murder for killing another AI and it came back that he was sentenced to 7 years in prison...that's not at all realistic for a Capital Murder charge. In the USA that person would be serving a life sentence, or if in Texas he'd be on death row. I'm just wondering if there is a coding error or something in the files.
  5. This looks awesome, but can I point out quick that Des Moines is located in Polk County, not Linn. Cedar Rapids is located in Linn. Just to help you out for future refrence.
  6. Got a bit of an issue with this mod. It doesn't work when I out it in Plugins/LSPDFR. So i tried putting it in Plugins and loading it via F4. I then got the following message (taken from ragepluginhook log) [3/29/2017 4:22:35 PM.158] Loading plugin from path: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\SpeedRadar (2).dll [3/29/2017 4:22:37 PM.004] <UNLOADED PLUGIN>: Initializing input system [3/29/2017 4:22:37 PM.005] <UNLOADED PLUGIN>: Initializing game console [3/29/2017 4:22:37 PM.007] <UNLOADED PLUGIN>: Initializing forms manager [3/29/2017 4:22:37 PM.054] ERROR: Could not load plugin from "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\SpeedRadar (2).dll". 7. I've got a unique problem. First I've got to say that the uniforms look awesome. However now the trooper hat only can be put on when your on a motorcycle. Its like the motorcycle helmet was replaced. Is it supposed to do that?
  8. ineseri, your correct about it not being a simulator I was just trying to think of how o could describe it's realism to the real world. Now I want to quote you for a second. "Also I highly suggest you don't use LSPDFR for anything other than entertainment purposes". Not sure what your meaning there, or what you think I'm using LSPDFR for. I use LSPDFR for my own entertainment purposes, but I do talk with other friends who enjoy it and play it as well. Not sure I'd I even want to know what your talking about, but I don't have the slightest clue what anyone could even use LSPDFR for other than that. I'm not really suprised that people complain about Albo's court in the drug runners. Actually when he first came out with that I messaged him and told him what good job he did and made some suggestions to make it better. Why provide the exact code, why not look up one and make one if your own? San Andreas is a fictional place, so why not make a fictional code as well? I doubt that this will ever happen, more so when I started this post, but it's an idea.
  9. I feel the reward as you speak is making people really enjoy playing LSPDFR. I have a friend who plays LSPDFR, who yes wants to be a real life policeman one day, but who also would like more added to LSPDFR to make the realism of it closer to a real life experiance. I will say this too. Since becoming an officer, LSPDFR is the closet real life police game or simulator that I have found so far that is very close to reality. Yes you are completely right about roleplaying and how it's not exactly needed for roleplay. However in my own mind, since it's something I'll do anyway everyday I make an arrest, I'd be nice to be able to practice real life stuff within LSPDFR. And as SuperStumpje said, it's not for everyone, that's why if ever made its way into LSPDFR, you could make an option or whatever so not every user has to use it. Just some thoughts of mine. I figure this post will either be a waste of time, or may eventually become something. Either way, if I happen to make someone else's gaming experiance that much better by adding more realism, as I know my friend Jayden would like, then that's great.
  10. So I recently entered the world of police work with the local police department in the small town I live in. I am still in field training, but I've learned alot. I've also gotten the chance to see how close in a way LSPDFR is to real police work. I how as your playing LSPDFR the player is able to put a suspect into cells. This is very similar to real life. This last weekend my training officer, deputies, and myself had to arrest an individual and take him to jail. This was my first arrest. Aside from putting him in the booking room, I got the chance to work on an affidavit at the jail for the offense the suspect committed. I looked up the Iowa code for what he did, and got the chance to fill in the code section, which listed the elements of the crime and the penalties, and then write a narrative that described how the suspect committed those elements and why he was being put into jail. When the suspect sees the judge the next morning, the judge then will read that affidavit to let him know the charges and whatnot. I think it would be neat to implement this into LSPDFR as an option if there ever is an update. It would surely make it seen more like real life. And I'm sure not everyone would want to use it, that's why it'd be an option. But it'd help with role playing or whatever. And it'd add that more realism to the game. I figure if it won't be added as an update, then I guess if someone wants they can make a mod if they come up with this idea or want something to make. Thanks and have a great day.
  11. Sounds pretty cool. Keep up the good work.
  12. This looks great. A couple of questions. First, are you planning to make this a plugin for gameplay? Second, if so, is there an option to change the agency name? For instance if I'm playing as Sandy Shores, railroad, or Taleto Bay Police, can I incorporate that in somehow? Just a couple of questing I had. Other than that it looks awesome!
  13. At least here in the United States where I live, depending on how many times the driver has already been arrested for the offense of DWLS (driving while license suspended) and how many withdrawls are in effect, that depends on whether or not they get arrested. See here in the state I live in driving while suspended is a simple misdemeanor punishable by a scheduled fine (a ticket). But we can also arrest that driver if we want (all up to the officers discretion) and if they can't post bond right away they will just spend a night in jail until they see the judge the next morning. We however DO NOT tow their vehicle unless it was used in a crime and will be impounded as evidence. (Example a pursuit or vehicular crime) The vehicle will be left with a family member or left on the side of the road. The above does not pertain to the interstate because after a 24 hr period the state patrol can and will tow any abandoned vehicles left for 24 hrs along the interstates. But anything over DWLS, we arrest. Driving while Revoked and Barred are automatic arrests. I kinda wish LSPDFR had revoked and barred in it and not just suspended.
  14. Wow. You got me there Albo1125. Wasn't expecting that response but your right, make it yourself. I'm gonna have to look at the links you provided and hopefully one day I'll make a plugin.
  15. Hey guys, I was curious to know if anyone out there could make a custom police texture for The Go Loco Railroad which will go onto the Tahoe I have in place of the fbi2 slot. It would be nice for someone to make up a fictional law enforcement agency for The Go Loco Railroad, which is the railroad within GTA V. The texture can look like anything your heart desires, I just would like to see something other than the traditional black and white vehicles. You do not need to use the 2008 Tahoe that I have in the slot, however it would be nice to have use a truck, since all the real life railroad police officers I've met and know drive unmarked and marked trucks (Chevy Blazer, Tahoe, and Explorer). Secondly, it would be awesome if someone could also make a uniform to go with the truck textures. It would be nice if the uniform could replace would be the Park Ranger uniform since I never play LSPDFR as the park ranger. It would be nice too if with the uniform could somehow be universal so I could use it for Sandy Shores patrols (Since I have a Sandy Shores police vehicle in one slot). Just an idea I had. But it would be awesome if someone could do this and I would very much appreciate it. I will throw in photos of railroad police vehicles and uniforms from real vehicles and officers to help. Thanks a lot.
  16. I have already asked FinKone personally if he would create a plugin like this, but he had to deny due to the fact of how busy his life was. The thing to do would be to look for another author to create this plugin.
  17. I think there are enough town's listed within GTA V like CouthInk4 listed that it would work. However I also think it would be cool to list towns\cities from all the other GTA games.
  18. Here is an idea that I think would make LSPDFR more realistic. Why not when running a person's name does it not also say where they are from too? This is what normally happens (at least in the United States) when running both the license plate of the vehicle as well as the drivers license of the driver. Dispatch will advise what city the registered owner is from and if the driver isn't the registered owner, where the driver is from as well. Reason behind it us some law enforcement agencies don't write many tickets to members of the cities they patrol and are more prone to write the out of towner than the driver from town. Just a suggestion.
  19. That's too bad. There isn't any way you can add a template to it is there?
  20. Question, Is it possible to import a texture for this Tahoe so that it isn't just plain unmarked? If so, what will I replace, because just importing a texture doesn't work. Thanks.
  21. Well the job of a police officer is for some people and not for others. I've already had my share of people pissing me off at my job. I work security currently at a hospital. I've had plenty of people (visitors, patients, mental health patients, etc) who have pressed my buttons before. I've been called a rent-a-cop, everything. All you gotta do is take a deep breath and think about anything else except the negative. And also some of these people aren't in the right state of mind. Some mental health patients could not even realize what they are doing when they attack staff or whatever. Or lets say a bad wreck comes into the ER, families sometimes do things when they see their loved ones in the trauma rooms being worked on, especially when it turns fatal. In those instances you have to remember that they are overcome by emotions and no matter what someone says or does, they don't mean it. Most people who come to the hospital aren't having a good day as it is. I already know about the risk of working along side an interstate. You just gotta be smart about how you handle yourself and always be ready in the even an accident happens. I am interning this summer with a local (next county above me) sheriff office that does a lot of interstate patrolling. When I rode along with them, the deputy I rode with stopped speeders along the interstate. For some reason the state patrol doesn't patrol through that county that often so the deputies patrol the interstates. Truck drivers I've already seen in the past are generally jerks. My father has dealt with many in the past, and even when he used to take us along trips with him (many many years ago), truck drivers would say the worse things over the cb. I figure with the tight schedules truckers always seem to have that its more of an inconvenience when they get stopped. So if I did get on with the MVE here in Iowa (hypothetically speaking) would I get to meet you one day then? Do you travel along the Avenue of the Saints often between Waterloo and Mason City? If so, if you speed this summer you might run into me if the deputy I ride with stops you. That wasn't meant to sound so creepy either.
  22. That would be awesome if you could
  23. I'm looking for I guess a model of this that can be made for San Andreas state police. I don't care about state names, I'm just looking for a San Andreas model. So they are still a part of the DOT then. Are they nice people at least? I am thinking of possibly applying to work for MVE since a position is opening in July. I know they mostly deal with trucks, and I happen to love semi's. My father used to be a truck driver. I figured it would be a good job to get into. Can you give any feedback for me?
  24. Is anyone able to make a model based off of the Iowa Motor Vehicle Enforcement? Below are pictures of their vehicles. Since they merged partially with the state patrol they now have white Tahoe's. To my knowledge they are still a part of the DOT since they still wear blue uniforms with DOT patches. What I am looking for is for someone to basically make the Motor Vehicle Enforcement or even Commercial Vehicle Enforcement for the San Andreas State Police. Not Iowa, but San Andreas. Just if you could base your models off these vehicles. If anyone can do that I would very much appreciate it. I'll also throw in a picture of the Iowa Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, who they used to be before merging with the state patrol. Thanks
