  1. Is there anything I can do to possibly help you in making it for GTA V? If you need someone to test it out, I'm the guy. I test mods as it is. Just give me a readme so I know what to do. I have trouble editing the vehicles.
  2. Hey, I always am looking for ways to make people's mods better.
  3. Why grass? Why not replace the grass with cement or something? I think it would look better with something other than grass. Otherwise it looks pretty good.
  4. I do not remember the exact wording the game used, but it mentioned that the driver was charged for the death of the passenger. I completely understand that in real life people would dispose of drugs, and that's cool in all, but I just had the problem of finding the drugs, especially if the chase starts in Sandy Shores, my favorite place to work for some odd reason, and ends up in Los Santos. The drugs could be anywhere and its hard to back track when you forgot the exact route the chase went on. Thanks for bringing the ini file to my attention. I should have looked there in the first place.
This is an awesome mod and it helps out a lot when arresting suspects. Don't have to worry about that long drive back to the default jail points anymore because there are jails now all over the map. It saves time and prevents you from getting bored easily like you get when you have to drive so far just for a jail. And if you have one too many suspects that will fit in your car, all you gotta do is call for a transport. Also if you don't want to transport yourself, just call for one to do it for you. It's a great mod, made by a great guy, and it makes the game way easier and makes you less frustrated.
  5. This mod is very good. I've been using it all night while on LSPDFR. However I will say that too often street racers show up, especially when in the middle of something and they keep circling the block till you acknowledge they are there and try to do something. Now, I really love the court cut-scene on the drug runners call. It is one of my favorite calls to take. Can we get a court cut-scene on any other calls, and maybe on other mods too? But while on this topic, the only thing I don't like is how the drug runners will throw away drugs and its very hard to see where they land. Had to search for a box that was almost the color of the road (went past it 4 times before I noticed it). But other than that, the Traffic Policer is great. Can I also throw in that some sentences in the court cut-scene are not realistic? Had the passenger die in one chase, couldn't find the drugs anywhere and the driver got 3 years for dangerous driving, manslaughter, and resisting arrest. Realistically manslaughter, or vehicle manslaughter, in the state I live is a mandatory 25 yr minimum sentence. Just some advice to possibly make it more realistic. :)
  6. So...how long is it supposed to take to load a callout from this .dll file? I played for almost 2 hours and never got a single callout while using LSPDFR.
  7. Does anyone know when LSPDFR 0.3 will be released or has anyone heard anything about it?
  8. Now this is something along the line I was hoping someone would make. The callout I mean.
  9. Question, how did you get the lightbar from the rearview mirror to the dashboard?
  10. So wait, does this mean that the modding community will finally start releasing lightbars to us? I'm sick of the lightbars in the game and am waiting for someone to release a new one. (I know they're out there. I've seen people with modded lightbars on their vehicle)
  11. So does this mean since you made Waterloo that you too will be making a texture for Cedar Falls? My friends work for Cedar Falls Police and another who works for the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office.
  12. You stated this perfect.
  13. Well, hopefully someone will come out soon with new lightbars. If someone could create a valor lightbar, that's all I'd need to make me more than happy.
  14. Is it safe to assume that none of these lightbars are for GTA V LSDFR and only for GTA IV LCPDFR?
  15. Not sure about the rest of you, but I am getting sick and tired of the lightbars on the police vehicles. Someone should figure out a way to mod the lightbars so that we can have different ones. Anyone else agree?
  16. It's actually just the letter 'U' that works. At least for me its the letter 'U'. Just click 'U' and the flashlight comes out, and click 'U' again and it goes away.
  17. I noticed too that this was a problem so I got the 'Native Trainer' and whenever I load LSPDFR, I be sure to enable 'Fast Running' and 'Unlimited Ability'. Now I actually run faster than the suspects and stamina never gets low. i know its cheating, but it is very helpful, and helps with the frustrations.
  18. Now all we need is for a modder to see this post and start making the mod
  19. I'm back with one more idea for LSPDFR. I am basing this idea off of FinKone's mod from LCPDFR. In LSPDFR, when a player stops somebody, sure that player can run the vehicle plate and license on the computer, (or through FinKone's radio) but when that player goes to write up the ticket, the character writes the ticket, not the player. I feel someone should make a mod based off of FinKone's Ticket Time to allow players to write up tickets when we stop someone for an offense. Not sure how other players feel about this idea, but I think it would make LSPDFR more enjoyable. Just a thought I had.
  20. This actually sounds like a really good idea. Maybe something someone could make for a mod maybe?
  21. It would be cool to see this happen, but not all the time though. These are things that are happening more and more these days to police.
  22. How is everyone doing today? I have several suggestions/idea’s, that I feel, will make playing LSPDFR much more better and fun. These are suggestions I have come up with while playing LSPDFR. LSPDFR has come so far and I feel adding some of the ideas I came up with would make LSPDFR better. I want to make it clear right off the bat that I am NOT complaining at all about LSPDFR or trying to stir up trouble in case someone takes these suggestions the wrong way. They are just ideas. First suggestion/idea I have is making an option button when we arrest individuals to have certain charges brought up against them. The thing that brought this to mind is, a lot of times, when I am playing LSPDFR, I have people try to kill my character, run over my character, or even witness another character murder someone else. Now after arresting them and transporting them to jail I wondered how the jailers are to know what the prisoner is gonna be charged with. In real life, when the officers bring the prisoner in to be booked, obviously they would tell the jailors then and there what the charges are. Now, how in the GTA world do the officers tell the jailors, other than through telepathy, what the prisoner is being charged with? I feel if there was an option to add charges to the prisoner, that would make booking people into jail better. For instance, if someone steals a car in front of me, I can type into the box (or whatever would appear) grand theft auto. If I witness a murder, obviously I would type into the box, murder 1,2, or 3 (the degrees if you know your states statutes on it). If someone tries to kill my character I would type in the box, attempted murder. If someone runs from my character, I would type on the box misdemeanor fleeing and evading or felony fleeing and evading (the difference if you know your states statutes on the levels of fleeing and evading). If someone assaults my character, which happens a lot in Davis, I would type in the box, assault, aggravated assault, or assault on an officer. You get the point. Also, in the box (or whatever would appear) there should be space to add several charges, or maybe unlimited charges. For the suspects who starts a chase that goes all over LS or someone who committed several crimes. I just feel that this would make the game more fun and more entertaining than what it already is. Second thing I feel would be great, is being able to do prisoner transports. This can be from jail to jail, jail to courthouse, courthouse to jail, or even jail to Bolingbroke State Penitentiary. Or any other places you can think of. Now this part is inspired by my small county sheriff’s office. My sheriff’s office handles the prisoner transports. The sheriff’s office transports prisoners from other jails, to ours and from our jail to other jails so the prisoner can stand trial. The sheriff’s office is located by the courthouse, so when the prisoner needs to go to court, the deputies escort the prisoner out of the jail and walk them into a side entrance on the courthouse. They then go to arrangement, trial, or sentencing, before being led back outside to the jail door. Let’s say a prisoner has been sentenced to prison, the deputies will load the prisoner into a patrol vehicle and then drive them to the penitentiary where all intake prisoners go. Yes my state has a prison where all prisoners enter first, and after paperwork, and psychological examinations, you are then transferred to the permanent prison you will stay for the length of your sentence. (If someone who has mental problems gets sentenced to prison, they will have to be evaluated, then sent to the state mental institution. If someone gets sentenced to Life in Prison, because my state hasn’t had the death penalty since the 1970’s, they will have to be processed then sent to one of the only prisons lifies go to. If someone sentenced to prison needs rehab, they need to be processed so they can go to a prison that has the rehab they need.) I feel adding this to LSPDFR would add more of a real life look to it, and I feel this would be fun. Only thing you have to do is find the courthouse in Los Santos and Blain County. Just have the player drive to a point outside the jail where a cut scene will show the prisoner being loaded into the player’s vehicle by jailors. Then the player can drive to another point outside a jail, the courthouse, or the prison, where another cut scene will show the prisoner being taken out of the player’s vehicle by jailors again and led to wherever the player is at. This is an example of what I am trying to explain. Third thing. Why can’t we explore the stations? This is something that I feel would be fun to be able to do. I think someone should add parts of stations so we can explore a bit. Add doors that can open that show different areas. These areas can be the briefing room, the interview rooms, the county/city dispatchers, offices for the chief, captain, sergeant, ect., the detective offices, the booking area, the cells, and the evidence lockup. Evidence lockup is the next topic by the way. Many times have I wanted to just walk around the inside of one of Los Santo’s police station’s, but the doors will not open to allow a player to do that. I know that is what the game originally intended, but with LSPDFR someone should make it so a player can open those doors and walk around the station. Forth thing is the subject of evidence. In LCPDFR a player was able to pick up evidence, like a weapon for example, and drop it off at the station. Why not have the same option in LSPDFR? I have the pedestrian and vehicle search mods. They work awesome. Why not somehow link those mods to LSPDFR somehow and make it so when a player finds evidence on someone or in a vehicle, that player then can drop it off at the station? Same with weapons. If I get in a situation where someone has a weapon, and they drop it, I should be able to pick it up as evidence. Now for dropping off evidence. In LCPDFR, the player dropped it off in the station. Why not make an evidence locker, and drop it off there? Add a window and a character that stands at the window (obviously a cop or a detective) and takes any evidence the player has. Fifth thing, when playing as correction officers, why can’t a player enter the prison? This is kinda strange to me. A correction officer with LSPDFR should be able to enter the prison. Now, I have teleported into the prison as a corrections officer once, and everyone freaked out and shot at my character. Had I not had turned on invincibility, my character would have died. This raises a great question I have been wondering. What are we supposed to do when playing as a corrections officer in LSPDFR. It’s not realistic to go patrol the town as a corrections officer when corrections officers are to be stationed at prisons. So then, why not make it so a player can play as a corrections officer and enter the prison? Have some sort of missions inside the prison that a player playing as a corrections officer can do. For example, have a mission about breaking up fights, preventing prisoners from jumping the fence, stealing a vehicle, or finding prisoners digging escape tunnels. These are things that happen in prisons. I know I have added a lot of stuff, and I can only imagine the reaction the creator of LSPDFR will have when he reads through all that. If I had to create all that, I’d be overwhelmed. And that is why I am offering my assistance to anyone who wants to take a stab at it. Not sure what all I could do, but I could try to do something if anyone asks. But seriously, if anyone could do even the slightest of my idea’s/suggestions, I would very much appreciate it. These can also be mods if someone wants to try that route. Like I said, I am willing to help if you are willing to throw something my way to do, that I could do. Thanks for taking the time to read through this. Everyone have a great day, and feel free to comment below.
