Can I change the spawning of AI sheriff/ambulance?

Featured Replies

The ambulance and sheriff both spawn randomly at the Paleto Bay sheriff Station. Is there a way to change the coding so these vehicles wont spawn here, and maybe an add-on car will spawn in those spots instead?

For purposes of my YouTube channel, I changed the sign on the front of the sheriff station from Los Santos to Mount Chiliad (Blaine County is Mount Chiliad County basically in my game). When recording videos, the AI sheriff car (Los Santos County) spawning at the sheriffs station ruins the emersion. Just trying to find out if and how I can change that so its always an add-on car (Mount Chiliad Sheriff) being spawned in that spot instead.

Thanks for any help.

I know what you mean about the random spawn units at that Sheriff station.  So, what you are saying is that you are getting the vanilla Sheriff and Ambulance spawns, right?  What you could do is identify which of the vanilla Sheriff units (sheriff or sheriff2) is the one spawning........then replace that model in OpenIV with one of the models from your add-on pack that you have set up for Mount Chiliad Sheriff.  That should do the trick.  I don't play the game much anymore, because I am always working on livery projects - but, to test the liveries in game, I am always switching vanilla models (or DLCs) around......and I will see those new models/liveries spawning there.
