  1. As far as I know, the launcher is always listed as 0.1.0.0, and only GTAIV.exe is listed as the version you would have (1.0.7.0). Make sure you check that you're verifying the right file...
  2. Try changing the mitmap levels in OpenIV. 1 normally works best for me, but it's a matter of preference.
  3. Thank you so much, will be very useful for my clan!
  4. Hey all, I had an idea for a script earlier today. I wondered if there was a way to get the player to spawn an object (i.e. a broom) and then use the relevant animation (i.e. sweeping up) while holding it. It should be fairly easy, the animations are already in game. There's probably even already a way to do so, if there is then please let me know... Thanks in advance!
  5. Press the Home button on your keyboard, or the Xbox logo button on your gamepad. Then go to 'Log In' or 'Create New Account' depending on what you want to do. However, if you're using xliveless you'll need to remove it to play multiplayer.

Metropolitan Police Textures for 2012 BMW 5 Series F10 For use on Cj24's model: A simple texture pack for the 2012 BMW 5 Series. Included are two Armed Response skins (one red and one grey) and a grey Patrol skin, which leaves one 'Polizei' texture should you want it. Also included is a replacement for the 'Stop - Polizei' message board on the lightbar - which is changed to 'Stop - Police'. Make sure you read the readme for more information. Thanks all, I hope you like my first release. I am taking requests for textures, should you be interested. Please Note: This model does not display correctly in OpenIV, nor (as far as I know) in SparkIV. This is not down to the texture, which works perfectly in game, but the way the modelling system works in the two applications.
  6. If both monitors have done this, I would think it's your graphics card. I'm not 100% sure, but it would make more sense than having a monitor that was working before, now not and a brand new monitor not working either.
  7. Try using Razer Game Booster. It should give you a couple of extra frames per second. Make sure you've closed all background processes that are not required, either by the system or by you personally. Also, make sure your PC meets the specs to run GTA IV. If it is, and you're still having problems, try re-installing, re-patching or removing car models and script files. Then reinstall one by one to see what seems to slow the game down the most. Hope this helps!
  8. It probably won't work but it's worth a shot. Let me know how you get on
  9. Your hotkey may be the same. Try changing one of them by customising the .ini file for either ELS or DashCam. I don't believe that the hotkeys are the same by default, but it's worth a try.
  10. Rockstar Games Social Club is currently down. The freezing is caused by the program trying to connect to the server, which fails. I would assume it would then retry, and once again fail, causing the longer 'freezes'.
  11. Don't worry, I thought the same as you when I first read it. With regards to adding a car crash at traffic stops, I doubt it would ever really work in practice. You mention adding the crashes randomly, but take, for example, if you pulled over on something other than a highway, the vehicle would only reach a fairly small speed before the collision would occur.
  12. I think he was making a suggestion, not reporting a problem
  13. Until you get GTA IV, you could have a NASA-spec PC and LCPDFR still would not run. With regards to finding the system requirements, I would recommend you use Can You Run It from System Requirements Lab to give you the most accurate results.
  14. Please read the very first pinned topic of the support forum: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  15. LCPD: FR is not a standalone game, it is a modification for Grand Theft Auto: IV. Thus, LCPD:FR will only work when used with GTA IV or Episodes from Liberty City (DLC). The game can be purchased at a variety of resellers, as well as on Steam. This can be closed now...?
  16. This may sound like a stupid question, but have you installed GTA 4?
  17. You can change the key for GFWL by going to settings and selecting 'Change Guide Key'
  18. If the download only gives you pictures that match existing textures, you'll need to manually install it through either SparkIV or OpenIV. I normally replace police_sign_1, but you'll need to pick & choose which one you replace. If the download gives you only pictures in-game, look in the description/comments If you have any troubles, let me know
