  1. Oh, cool! I assumed that they were missing so I just copied the Arrest Manager directory with my XML files
  2. I might be mistaken but I think that he forgot to include the XML files. I had been playing on an older version of GTA and RPH for nearly 9 months now due to some issues I had with RPH the last summer and I am just upgrading everything today... I was wondering where the XML files went that allow you to specify the vehicle and cop models responding depending on the region.
  3. As much annoying it can be for us, Rockstar is not supporting modding, that's their own right. The day they add Steam Workshop to GTA and indeed keep ruining everything with each major update there's more ground to complain. But until then they are not bound to make modding easier.
  4. I like the idea since the default flashlight is lackluster but isn't your range a little over the top? Watching at the video, you are lighting half a very tall building (0:15). That's no longer a flashlight you are holding but a spotlight...
  5. Well that's what I do most of the time except when I am not busy and when the pursuit looks legit... but it's hard to ignore when it is happening right behind you while you are performing a traffic stop
  6. I first tried with your default timecycle files and it instantly reminded me why I love VisualV so much: default lighting, especially by day, looks so bland. So I put back in the edited files and I didn't see any bad effect on your mod, on the contrary I can now experience the best of both worlds. Not sure what the issue is but ECED seems very compatible with VisualV to me.
Great enhancement of emergency lighting, especially by night. Thanks for sharing with us!
  7. So basically Lyrad was saying that it was most likely some callouts coming with ambient events. But the only plugin I allowed to have ambient events is Traffic Policer (all the other ones are turned off) and I am pretty sure that these random pursuits are default GTA chases (a few examples, game running with no mods). Except that they seem to happen even more frequently in LSPDFR.
  8. I honestly can't stop in a place for 2 minutes without one of these random pursuits happening in the same street (even in the most remote locations) and half the time almost crashing on me or near me. This is getting beyond annoying. Is there any way to stop these? Or is there a plugin out there that I don't know of and that tones down their frequency or completely disables them?
  9. Technically lots of older plugins still work without updates so it is not a necessity.
  10. Hey @Albo1125 would you consider adding an extra option to the Transport Regions XML file, street names? I was kinda excited to be able to call in highway patrol units (I am using POLICE4 slot) for pickup when I am on the highway but zones are way too large. For instance US Route 1 goes through no less than 10 regions from Mount Chiliad to Banham Canyon, adding POLICE4 to these 10 regions would be overkill. I tried my luck by adding "US Route 1" to the TransportRegion ZoneName tag, with little hope that it would be enough and obviously it didn't take my setting. That would be great to be able to do that with the various highways, provided it is possible and more people like the idea
  11. I think the reason is that LSPDFR+ traffic stop menu overlaps LSPDFR menu, you can tell it when you close LSPDFR+ menu and LSPDFR still invites you to press E to talk to the driver. So in the end the ped is not ready for an arrest when exiting the vehicle. I don't know if that's possible but maybe LSPDFR+ could actually replace the default traffic stop menu so that E still readies the ped to be cuffed? Or Unarmed Arrests could make a return being integrated to this plugin? Default key is F9. There is a PDF file with a bunch of information in the documentation
  12. Thanks for the heads-up!
  13. I can't seem to have the callouts interact with Computer+. Everything is up to date, I hadn't played for quite a while so everything got scrapped and had a refresh, from GTA V to RPH and plugins. I have the lattest version of Computer+: and Code 3: but every time I am invited to check the computer for details, the Calls screen is blank... Anyone else having the same issue?
  14. I am running in the same issue. Everything is updated to the lattest version, I just spent a whole afternoon upgrading everything from GTA and RHP to plugins, but the callouts supposed to be tied in with Computer+ like the Police Impersonator from Code 3 for instance show this message about checking the computer for information but the information window is empty. Not sure if I am doing something wrong, is there anything that needs to be done?
  15. I'm late to the party and finally gave it a try, really enjoyable Just wondering if I missed something, is it possible to request only an ambulance?
  16. Wait... were you talking about Further Adventures in Finance and Felony update? Because it is coming out today... These are the major updates that break the mods.
  17. No worry Also at that time I had this callout only a couple of times, I imagined there was a possibility to have more than one robber so given the current scenario being automatically kicked out makes sense since there is nothing left to check. A probability for a second robber would be nice.
  18. Thanks for the update! Just making sure that I am setting up the INI file correctly, callout frequency is back to a scale from 1 to 5 (no more 10), right?
  19. I actually did some research a few weeks ago about this to have a definitive idea of what is going in that case: here's how things are handled in NY State. DRIVING WHILE YOUR LICENSE IS SUSPENDED OR REVOKED Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (AUO) is driving while your license is under suspension or revocation. AUO-3rd degree. This is a misdemeanor for driving with a suspended or revoked license or privilege to drive. It is punishable by a mandatory fine of $200–$500, a mandatory surcharge, and possible imprisonment up to 30 days or probation. AUO-2nd degree. This is a misdemeanor. If the driver is convicted of driving with a license previously suspended or revoked within the prior 18 months due to a conviction of AUO-3rd degree, it is punishable by a minimum fine of $500, a mandatory surcharge, and mandatory imprisonment up to 180 days or probation. Punishment includes a mandatory fine of $500–$1000, a mandatory surcharge, and mandatory imprisonment of 7–180 days or probation, if the driver is convicted of driving while suspended or revoked and one of the following: • The original suspension or revocation had resulted from either a conviction for an alcohol- or drug-related violation or a chemical test refusal; or, • The original suspension was a mandatory suspension pending prosecution of an alcohol or drug-related offense; or, • The driver has in effect three or more license suspensions, imposed on at least three different dates, for failure to respond to tickets. AUO-1st degree. This is a felony. It is punishable by a mandatory fine of $500–$5000, mandatory imprisonment up to four years or probation, and possible seizure and forfeiture of the vehicle driven. A driver may be convicted of AUO-1st degree if driving while suspended or revoked and: • The driver is impaired or intoxicated, with a license or privilege currently under suspension or revocation for an alcohol or drug-related violation or a chemical test refusal; or, • The driver has in effect 10 or more license suspensions, imposed on at least 10 different dates, for failure to respond to tickets. So technically to be detained you have to be a repeat offender and/or impaired but since LSPDFR doesn't really come with a detailed history of the suspects (which would be really great) it is hard to make a decision regarding the original reason for the suspension and if the person already was pulled over for driving with a suspended license. What I am doing is: - except for the suspended license if the suspects are clean (especially not drinking and driving and if I didn't pull them over for being involved in an accident) I give them a min. fine of $200 (or more if I deal with a jerk) - if the suspect is drunk and/or was involved in an accident, if the suspect is piling up other breaches (speeding, no insurance, no tax, etc.) this is jail time.
  20. No need for a mod, maybe 1/5 of my suspects glitch out and get out of the car. Or they try to fight, even after being cuffed, when there is a shootout around...
  21. I don't think this is the issue. Good modders are well known within the community so if feeling important was their intention, sharing the mod would brush their ego as much. I think it is just a matter of owning something unique, look at MMOs people look for the rare pieces of gear, the rare titles to show off so they can stand out in the crowd. And this is something that I can understand. This is more about not looking like everyone else than feeling important.
  22. The global.gxt2 files are definitely the correct files. The vehicle.meta file handles the names under the rug, that's the names (notice the upper case) the callouts come up with because that's most likely the easiest references to access (BXJL for instance) but the global files do handle the "real" names (BeeJay XL). As you can see the game uses the new name when I get in the car. I think the problem is that POLICE3 uses the same name as POLICE (set as Ford CVPI for me) and it comes up as the CVPI. I even tried to add a line for POLICE3 with no luck, it still uses the same name as POLICE so I guess there is no answer
  23. It is a small thing but I have always been annoyed by the fact that when I get inside a vehicle and can see its name it doesn't match the one from my modded car. So I figured out the location of the file storing these names, under update > update.rpf > x64 > data > lang > american_rel.rpf > global.gxt2 I have found all the vehicles, including SHERIFF2 hidden behind a num code (0x72935408) but I can't figure out where to find POLICE3. I have checked the other global.gxt2 files for the various DLCs with no luck. Does anyone where I can find it? Thanks in advance!
