your definitly still a beginner, moving stuff around really doesnt. number 2, none of it was made by you. so yeah, you really dont have most of the basics down so i would call you a beginner. not to be offenseo or anything of that nature

you should really start the project and have some actual progress before starting a project. it' just looks better on your part if you can backup your claim by showing pictures. also alittle advice, it would be best to not start with advanced models when your a beginner. when your a beginner it would be best start with the defualt models and get down the basics before trying to do advance things

when the lightbar is finshed you dont connect all the surfaces together, all you do is connect the els lights together and named them accoridgly. no you will have to add the new texture to the wtd in order for it to show up properly. @ninkanji maybe if i get the time to sometime. @chrispydtank you can use different light textures and you dont have to use that exact one. the contender link is dead unfortunately. i hope to have it back up soon. also with your problems i would just say keep practicing and you will get the hang of it eventually

so I've looked around the forums and what not and I've seen alot of threads asking how to do something in zmodeler or how to fix something so instead of seeing dozens of help threads around content modifications and support we can just bundle them all here. this will be the thread you go to if you need help with something in zmodeler, whether is be els, importing stuff or what ever. this threads main purpose is to help zmodelers who just starting out or just need some guidance on something. i will also try to update the original post as much as i can with answers to common question so that they don't arise multiple times and people dont have to search through pages of answers and questions to find what they're looking for.

z3d's are alot more stable and easy to make. with a wft some many things can go wrong during export, not to mention that you have to create dummies and all that good stuff. with a z3d i can easily just save the model on my computer and release it with the textures without having to make a wtd for it.

lol i don't know where everybody gets this idea that rockstar doesn't support modding. constantly they post things on their newswire showcasing and supporting modder. like in one of those fan website roundup they gave a shout out to stilldre69 for red dead desert. the whole patch things was a fault they said in a offical statement that patches aren't meant to hinder modding but sometimes do, and really rockstar could give two shit about some organization trying to boycott their product. on their homepage it says uniting liberals and conservative through mutal hate of us since 1994 or something along those lines. hot coffee was just a mistake of their part really and they've learned from it. this is one of the reason why gta sa was so moddable because rockstar made it that way and supported modding and still do, they love seeing what people can come up with, with their games and inspirations. but enough of that on topic i'm hella excited for this game, i was just over a gtaforums and the staff their love to tease people and the users over there are just going crazy trying to crack numerical codes. it's insanity but the fun kind to watch.

that's not tru, entirely. lol experience modder do help people out, its just sometimes you guy ask question that can be easily figured out with some exploration and determination.

lol yes you can, you definitely create your own collision file. i did for my mobile command center and alot of other pro modders do it. you just need to know what your doing while making the collisions.

does anyone know where i can get a free computer, my computer was recently just stolen out of my house while i was still inside the house and i really dont have the money to go out and buy a computer since i'm flat broke right about now. it would be greatly appreciated if you guys know where i would be able to get a desktop of some sort for free, and then i can continue modding again. so does anyone know of a site or a place?

pretty good start i would say. i can tell u took things from the map n used them inside. i would say to make this truck better alot of work will have to be done.it. things such as retexturing the interior, it looks really dark and rockstar used really low quality textures. also update the outside of the truck as well, like give the front of the truck a facelift, like something thats new with the truck. also to make it walkable your going to have to make a whole entire new set of collsions for the model if you want to do it, if you dont do it correctly then your game will crash, i know this because my MCC crashed because of that, as well as evi's

lol i have respect for cops but not very much, i'm from dc and around here cops are known for being corrupt. it's kinda of hard to trust cops when you come up from a poverty ridden neighborhood and every time the police come around things usually go from bad to worse. the metropolitan police of dc is known for having corrupt police officers all the way up into the high ranking officers. i know for some it's hard to believe that cops are bad or are corrupt but it's a part of life. to those who turn their head and say that majority of the cops don't abuse there power is naive. nypd is known for racial profiling, unwarranted beating,greed,corruption, and theft. also as well as lapd,dc police dept, prince George's county Maryland, la Florida. i have first hand witnessed cops overacting to threats that are no match for them. now granted there are some good cops, but ALOT of cops have a unwelcoming attitude towards people in general, not to mention minorities. i not saying that all cops are bad, but i think people give them alittle more credit then they deserve at times.
